1 I n You, O Lord, do I put my trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be put to shame or confusion!

(70-1) На Тебя, Господи, уповаю, да не постыжусь вовек.

2 D eliver me in Your righteousness and cause me to escape; bow down Your ear to me and save me!

(70-2) По правде Твоей избавь меня и освободи меня; приклони ухо Твое ко мне и спаси меня.

3 B e to me a rock of refuge in which to dwell, and a sheltering stronghold to which I may continually resort, which You have appointed to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.

(70-3) Будь мне твердым прибежищем, куда я всегда мог бы укрываться; Ты заповедал спасти меня, ибо твердыня моя и крепость моя--Ты.

4 R escue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the unrighteous and ruthless man.

(70-4) Боже мой! избавь меня из руки нечестивого, из руки беззаконника и притеснителя,

5 F or You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust from my youth and the source of my confidence.

(70-5) ибо Ты--надежда моя, Господи Боже, упование мое от юности моей.

6 U pon You have I leaned and relied from birth; You are He Who took me from my mother’s womb and You have been my benefactor from that day. My praise is continually of You.

(70-6) На Тебе утверждался я от утробы; Ты извел меня из чрева матери моей; Тебе хвала моя не престанет.

7 I am as a wonder and surprise to many, but You are my strong refuge.

(70-7) Для многих я был как бы дивом, но Ты твердая моя надежда.

8 M y mouth shall be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day.

(70-8) Да наполнятся уста мои хвалою, всякий день великолепие Твое.

9 C ast me not off nor send me away in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent and my powers fail.

(70-9) Не отвергни меня во время старости; когда будет оскудевать сила моя, не оставь меня,

10 F or my enemies talk against me; those who watch for my life consult together,

(70-10) ибо враги мои говорят против меня, и подстерегающие душу мою советуются между собою,

11 S aying, God has forsaken him; pursue and persecute and take him, for there is none to deliver him.

(70-11) говоря: 'Бог оставил его; преследуйте и схватите его, ибо нет избавляющего'.

12 O God, be not far from me! O my God, make haste to help me!

(70-12) Боже! не удаляйся от меня; Боже мой! поспеши на помощь мне.

13 L et them be put to shame and consumed who are adversaries to my life; let them be covered with reproach, scorn, and dishonor who seek and require my hurt.

(70-13) Да постыдятся и исчезнут враждующие против души моей, да покроются стыдом и бесчестием ищущие мне зла!

14 B ut I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.

(70-14) А я всегда буду уповать и умножать всякую хвалу Тебе.

15 M y mouth shall tell of Your righteous acts and of Your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is more than I know.

(70-15) Уста мои будут возвещать правду Твою, всякий день благодеяния Твои; ибо я не знаю им числа.

16 I will come in the strength and with the mighty acts of the Lord God; I will mention and praise Your righteousness, even Yours alone.

(70-16) Войду в о силах Господа Бога; воспомяну правду Твою--единственно Твою.

17 O God, You have taught me from my youth, and hitherto have I declared Your wondrous works.

(70-17) Боже! Ты наставлял меня от юности моей, и доныне я возвещаю чудеса Твои.

18 Y es, even when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not, until I have declared Your mighty strength to generation, and Your might and power to all that are to come.

(70-18) И до старости, и до седины не оставь меня, Боже, доколе не возвещу силы Твоей роду сему и всем грядущим могущества Твоего.

19 Y our righteousness also, O God, is very high, You Who have done great things; O God, who is like You, or who is Your equal?

(70-19) Правда Твоя, Боже, до превыспренних; великие дела соделал Ты; Боже, кто подобен Тебе?

20 Y ou Who have shown us troubles great and sore will quicken us again and will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

(70-20) Ты посылал на меня многие и лютые беды, но и опять оживлял меня и из бездн земли опять выводил меня.

21 I ncrease my greatness (my honor) and turn and comfort me.

(70-21) Ты возвышал меня и утешал меня.

22 I will also praise You with the harp, even Your truth and faithfulness, O my God; unto You will I sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

(70-22) И я буду славить Тебя на псалтири, Твою истину, Боже мой; буду воспевать Тебя на гуслях, Святый Израилев!

23 M y lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises to You, and my inner being, which You have redeemed.

(70-23) Радуются уста мои, когда я пою Тебе, и душа моя, которую Ты избавил;

24 M y tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; for they are put to shame, for they are confounded, who seek and demand my hurt.

(70-24) и язык мой всякий день будет возвещать правду Твою, ибо постыжены и посрамлены ищущие мне зла. О Соломоне.
