1 I n You, O Lord, do I put my trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be put to shame or confusion!

(По слав. 70). На тебе, Господи, уповавам; Да се не посрамя никога.

2 D eliver me in Your righteousness and cause me to escape; bow down Your ear to me and save me!

Избави ме в правдата Си и освободи ме; Приклони към мене ухото Си и спаси ме.

3 B e to me a rock of refuge in which to dwell, and a sheltering stronghold to which I may continually resort, which You have appointed to save me, for You are my Rock and my Fortress.

Бъди ми канара за прибежище, към което винаги да се обръщам. Ти си разрешил спасението ми, Защото канара моя и крепост моя си Ти.

4 R escue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the unrighteous and ruthless man.

Боже мой избави ме от ръката на нечестивия, От ръката на законопрестъпника и насилника.

5 F or You are my hope; O Lord God, You are my trust from my youth and the source of my confidence.

Защото Ти, Господи Иеова, си моя надежда; На Тебе съм уповавал от младостта си.

6 U pon You have I leaned and relied from birth; You are He Who took me from my mother’s womb and You have been my benefactor from that day. My praise is continually of You.

Ти си ми бил подпорка от рождението ми; От утробата на майка ми Ти си бил мой благодетел; За Тебе ще бъде винаги хвалението ми.

7 I am as a wonder and surprise to many, but You are my strong refuge.

Като чудовище съм станал на мнозина; Но Ти си ми яко прибежище.

8 M y mouth shall be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day.

Устата ми ще се пълнят всеки ден С хваление и славене на Тебе.

9 C ast me not off nor send me away in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent and my powers fail.

Не ме отхвърляй във време на старостта ми; Не ме оставяй, когато отпада силата ми;

10 F or my enemies talk against me; those who watch for my life consult together,

Защото неприятелите ми за мене говорят, И ония, които причакват душата ми, наговарят се помежду си

11 S aying, God has forsaken him; pursue and persecute and take him, for there is none to deliver him.

И казват: Бог го е оставил; Погнете и хванете го, защото няма кой да го избави.

12 O God, be not far from me! O my God, make haste to help me!

Боже, не се отдалечавай от мене; Боже мой, побързай да ми помогнеш.

13 L et them be put to shame and consumed who are adversaries to my life; let them be covered with reproach, scorn, and dishonor who seek and require my hurt.

Нека се посрамят и се изтребят противниците на душата ми; Нека се покрият с укор и срам ония, които искат зло за мене.

14 B ut I will hope continually, and will praise You yet more and more.

Но аз винаги ще се надявам. И ще Те хваля все повече и повече.

15 M y mouth shall tell of Your righteous acts and of Your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is more than I know.

Устата ми цял ден ще разказват правдата Ти и избавлението, което ми вършиш, Защото не мога да ги изброя.

16 I will come in the strength and with the mighty acts of the Lord God; I will mention and praise Your righteousness, even Yours alone.

Ще дойда и ще хваля мощните дела на Господа Иеова. Ще спомням Твоята правда, само Твоята.

17 O God, You have taught me from my youth, and hitherto have I declared Your wondrous works.

Боже, Ти си ме научил от младостта ми; И до сега съм разгласявал Твоите чудесни дела.

18 Y es, even when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not, until I have declared Your mighty strength to generation, and Your might and power to all that are to come.

Да! дори до старост и бели коси, Боже, не ме оставяй, Докато не разглася силата Ти на идещия род, Твоята мощ на всички бъдещи поколения.

19 Y our righteousness also, O God, is very high, You Who have done great things; O God, who is like You, or who is Your equal?

Също и правдата Ти, Боже, стигна на високо; Ти, Боже, Който си извършил велики дела, кой е подобен на Тебе?

20 Y ou Who have shown us troubles great and sore will quicken us again and will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.

Ти, Който си ми показал много и тежки притеснения, Пак ще ме съживиш, И от дълбочините на земята пак ще ме извадиш.

21 I ncrease my greatness (my honor) and turn and comfort me.

Ще уголемиш величието ми, И наново ще ме утешиш.

22 I will also praise You with the harp, even Your truth and faithfulness, O my God; unto You will I sing praises with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

И аз, Боже мой, ще славословя с псалтир Тебе и Твоята вярност; На Тебе, Свети Израилев, ще пея хваление с арфа.

23 M y lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises to You, and my inner being, which You have redeemed.

ще се радват много устните ми, когато Те славословя, Тоже и душата ми, която си изкупил.

24 M y tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the day long; for they are put to shame, for they are confounded, who seek and demand my hurt.

Езикът ми, тъй също, ще приказва за правдата Ти всеки ден, Защото се посрамиха - защото се смутиха - ония, които искат зло за мене.
