1 S o they brought the ark of God and set it in the midst of the tent which David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

Така внесоха Божия ковчег та го положиха всред шатъра, който Давид беше поставил за него; и принесоха всеизгаряния и примирителни приноси пред Бога.

2 A nd when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

И когато Давид свърши принасянето на всеизгарянията и примирителните приноси, благослови людете в Господното име.

3 A nd he distributed to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.

И даде на всеки човек, мъж и жена, от Израиля, на всекиго по един хляб, по една мръвка месо и по една низаница сухо грозде.

4 H e appointed Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord and to celebrate, thanking and praising the Lord, the God of Israel:

И определи известни левити, да служат пред Господния ковчег, да възпоменават, да благодарят и да хвалят Господ Израилевия Бог:

5 A saph was the chief, next to him Zechariah, Jeiel (Jaaziel), Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, and Benaiah, Obed-edom and Jeiel, who were to play harps and lyres; Asaph was to sound the cymbals;

първият, Асаф; вторият, Захария; после, Еиил, Семирамот, Ехиил, Мататия, Елиав, Ванаия, Овид-едом и Еиил с псалтири и арфи; Асаф с дрънкане на кимвали;

6 B enaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

а свещениците Ванаия и Яазиил с тръби, винаги пред ковчега на Божия завет.

7 T hen on that day David first entrusted to Asaph and his brethren the singing of thanks to the Lord:

Тогава, в оня ден, Давид за пръв път нареди славославенето на Господа чрез Асафа и братята му, с тия думи: -

8 O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known His doings among the peoples!

Славословете Господа: призовавайте името Му, Възвестявайте между народите делата Му.

9 S ing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His wondrous works and devoutly praise them!

Пейте Му, и псалмопейте Му; Говорете за всичките Му чудни дела.

10 G lory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!

Хвалете Го с неговото Свето име; Нека се весели сърцето на ония, които търсят Господа.

11 S eek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually!

Търсете Господа и Неговата сила. Търсете лицето Му винаги.

12 r emember the marvelous deeds which He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He uttered,

Помнете пречудните дела, които е извършил. Знаменията Му и съдбите на устата Му.

13 O you offspring of of Israel His servants, you children of Jacob, His chosen ones!

Вие, потомство на неговия слуга Израиля, Чада Яковови, избрани Негови.

14 H e is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

Той е Господ Бог наш; Съдбите Му са по целия свят.

15 B e mindful of His covenant forever, the promise which He commanded and established to a thousand generations,

Помнете всякога завета Му, Словото, което заповяда на хиляда поколения,

16 T he covenant which He made with Abraham, and His sworn promise to Isaac.

Завета, който направи с Авраама, И клетвата Му към Исаака,

17 H e confirmed it as a statute to Jacob, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

Която и утвърди на Якова за повеление, На Израиля за вечен завет,

18 S aying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, the measured portion of your possession and inheritance.

Като рече: На тебе ще дам ханаанската земя За дял на наследството ви,

19 W hen they were but few, even a very few, and only temporary residents and strangers in it,

Когато бяха малцина на брой, Малцина и пришелци в нея,

20 W hen they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people,

И когато прехождаха от народ в народ, И от едно царства в други люде.

21 H e allowed no man to do them wrong; yes, He reproved kings for their sakes,

Не остави никого да им напакости; Ей, заради тях царе изобличи,

22 S aying, Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm.

Казвайки: Да не се допирате до помазаните Ми, И да не сторите зло на пророците Ми.

23 S ing to the Lord, all the earth; show forth from day to day His salvation.

Пейте Господу, жители на целия свят; Благовествувайте от ден в ден спасението Му.

24 D eclare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all peoples.

Възвестете между народите славата Му, Между всичките племена чудните Му дела.

25 F or great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all so-called gods.

Защото е велик Господ и твърде достоен за хвала, И за страхопочитание повече от всички богове.

26 F or all the gods of the people are idols, but the Lord made the heavens.

Защото всичките богове на племената са суетни, А Господ направи небесата,

27 H onor and majesty are in His presence; strength and joy are in His sanctuary.

Слава и великолепие са пред Него, Сила и радост на мястото Му.

28 A scribe to the Lord, you families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength,

Отдайте Господу вие семейства на племената. Отдайте Господу слава и сила.

29 A scribe to the Lord the glory due His name. Bring an offering and come before Him; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and in holy array.

Отдайте Господу славата дължима на името Му; Донесете принос и влезте пред Него; Поклонете се Господу с великолепие свето.

30 T remble and reverently fear before Him, all the earth’s peoples; the world also shall be established, so it cannot be moved.

Треперете пред Него, жители на целия свят; Защото вселената е утвърдена, та не може да се поклати.

31 L et the heavens be glad and let the earth rejoice; and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigns!

Да се веселят небесата, и да се радва светът: И да казват между народите: Господ царува.

32 L et the sea roar, and all the things that fill it; let the fields rejoice, and all that is in them.

Да бучи морето и всичко що има в него: Нека се радват полетата и всичко що е в тях.

33 T hen shall the trees of the wood sing out for joy before the Lord, for He comes to judge and govern the earth.

Тогава ще се радват пред Господа дърветата на дъбравата; Защото иде да съди света,

34 O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!

Славословете Господа, защото е благ, Защото милостта Му е до века;

35 A nd say, Save us, O God of our salvation; gather us together and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name and glory in Your praise.

И речете: Спаси ни, Боже на спасението ни, Събери ни, и избави ни от народите, За да славословим светото Твое име, И да тържествуваме в Твоята хвала.

36 B lessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, forever and ever! And all the people said Amen! and praised the Lord.

Благословен да бъда Господ Бог Израилев От века и до века. И всичките люде рекоха: Амин! и възхвалиха Господа.

37 S o David left Asaph and his brethren before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark continually, as each day’s work required,

Тогава Давид остави там, пред ковчега на Господния завет, Асафа и братята му за да служат постоянно пред ковчега, според както беше нужно за всеки ден;

38 A nd Obed-edom with sixty-eight kinsmen. Also Obed-edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, were to be gatekeepers.

остави и Овид-едома и братята му, шестдесет и осем души; тоже и Овид-едома Едутуновия син и Оса за вратари;

39 A nd David left Zadok the priest and his brethren the priests before the tabernacle of the Lord in the high place that was at Gibeon

и свещеника Садок и братята му свещениците, пред Господната скиния на високото място, което бе в Гаваон,

40 T o offer burnt offerings to the Lord upon the altar of burnt offering continually, morning and evening, and to do all that is written in the Law of the Lord which He commanded Israel.

за да принасят всеизгаряне Господу върху олтара за всеизгарянията винаги заран и вечер, точно според както е писано в закона, който Господ даде на Израиля;

41 W ith them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest who were chosen and expressly named to give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.

и са тях постави Емана, Едутуна, и другите по име определени, които бяха избрани да славословят Господа, защото неговата милост е до века;

42 W ith them were Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those who should sound aloud, and instruments for accompanying the songs of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were to be at the gate.

и при тях, то ест, при Емана и Едутуна, имаше тръби и кимвали за ония, които трябваше да свирят с висок глас, и инструменти за Божиите песни. А Едутуновите синове бяха вратари.

43 T hen all the people departed, each man to his house, and David returned home to bless his household.

И така, всичките люде си отидоха, всеки в къщата си; и Давид се върна да благослови дома си
