1 T ruly God is good to Israel, even to those who are upright and pure in heart.

(72-1) ^^Псалом Асафа.^^ Как благ Бог к Израилю, к чистым сердцем!

2 B ut as for me, my feet were almost gone, my steps had well-nigh slipped.

(72-2) А я--едва не пошатнулись ноги мои, едва не поскользнулись стопы мои, --

3 F or I was envious of the foolish and arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

(72-3) я позавидовал безумным, видя благоденствие нечестивых,

4 F or they suffer no violent pangs in their death, but their strength is firm.

(72-4) ибо им нет страданий до смерти их, и крепки силы их;

5 T hey are not in trouble as other men; neither are they smitten and plagued like other men.

(72-5) на работе человеческой нет их, и с людьми не подвергаются ударам.

6 T herefore pride is about their necks like a chain; violence covers them like a garment.

(72-6) Оттого гордость, как ожерелье, обложила их, и дерзость, наряд, одевает их;

7 T heir eyes stand out with fatness, they have more than heart could wish; and the imaginations of their minds overflow.

(72-7) выкатились от жира глаза их, бродят помыслы в сердце;

8 T hey scoff, and wickedly utter oppression; they speak loftily.

(72-8) над всем издеваются, злобно разглашают клевету, говорят свысока;

9 T hey set their mouths against and speak down from heaven, and their tongues swagger through the earth.

(72-9) поднимают к небесам уста свои, и язык их расхаживает по земле.

10 T herefore His people return here, and waters of a full cup are drained by them.

(72-10) Потому туда же обращается народ Его, и пьют воду полною чашею,

11 A nd they say, How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?

(72-11) и говорят: 'как узнает Бог? и есть ли ведение у Вышнего?'

12 B ehold, these are the ungodly, who always prosper and are at ease in the world; they increase in riches.

(72-12) И вот, эти нечестивые благоденствуют в веке сем, умножают богатство.

13 S urely then in vain have I cleansed my heart and washed my hands in innocency.

(72-13) так не напрасно ли я очищал сердце мое и омывал в невинности руки мои,

14 F or all the day long have I been smitten and plagued, and chastened every morning.

(72-14) и подвергал себя ранам всякий день и обличениям всякое утро?

15 H ad I spoken thus, I would have been untrue and have dealt treacherously against the generation of Your children.

(72-15) если бы я сказал: 'буду рассуждать так', --то я виновен был бы пред родом сынов Твоих.

16 B ut when I considered how to understand this, it was too great an effort for me and too painful

(72-16) И думал я, как бы уразуметь это, но это трудно было в глазах моих,

17 U ntil I went into the sanctuary of God; then I understood their end.

(72-17) доколе не вошел я во святилище Божие и не уразумел конца их.

18 Y ou do set the in slippery places; You cast them down to ruin and destruction.

(72-18) Так! на скользких путях поставил Ты их и низвергаешь их в пропасти.

19 H ow they become a desolation in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors!

(72-19) Как нечаянно пришли они в разорение, исчезли, погибли от ужасов!

20 A s a dream until one awakens, so, O Lord, when You arouse Yourself, You will despise their outward show.

(72-20) Как сновидение по пробуждении, так Ты, Господи, пробудив, уничтожишь мечты их.

21 F or my heart was grieved, embittered, and in a state of ferment, and I was pricked in my heart.

(72-21) Когда кипело сердце мое, и терзалась внутренность моя,

22 S o foolish, stupid, and brutish was I, and ignorant; I was like a beast before You.

(72-22) тогда я был невежда и не разумел; как скот был я пред Тобою.

23 N evertheless I am continually with You; You do hold my right hand.

(72-23) Но я всегда с Тобою: Ты держишь меня за правую руку;

24 Y ou will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to honor and glory.

(72-24) Ты руководишь меня советом Твоим и потом примешь меня в славу.

25 W hom have I in heaven but You? And I have no delight or desire on earth besides You.

(72-25) Кто мне на небе? и с Тобою ничего не хочу на земле.

26 M y flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.

(72-26) Изнемогает плоть моя и сердце мое: Бог твердыня сердца моего и часть моя вовек.

27 F or behold, those who are far from You shall perish; You will destroy all who are false to You and like harlots depart from You.

(72-27) Ибо вот, удаляющие себя от Тебя гибнут; Ты истребляешь всякого отступающего от Тебя.

28 B ut it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God and made Him my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works.

(72-28) А мне благо приближаться к Богу! На Господа Бога я возложил упование мое, чтобы возвещать все дела Твои.
