1 Д якуйте Господу, добрий бо Він, бо навіки Його милосердя!

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!

2 Н ехай скаже ізраїль, бо навіки Його милосердя!

Let Israel now say that His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.

3 Н ехай скаже дім Ааронів, бо навіки Його милосердя!

Let the house of Aaron now say that His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.

4 Н ехай скажуть ті, хто боїться Господа, бо навіки Його милосердя!

Let those now who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord say that His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.

5 У тісноті я кликав до Господа, і простором озвався до мене Господь!

Out of my distress I called upon the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free and in a large place.

6 З о мною Господь не боюся нікого, що зробить людина мені?

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

7 Г осподь серед тих, що мені помагають, і побачу загибіль своїх ненависників.

The Lord is on my side and takes my part, He is among those who help me; therefore shall I see my desire established upon those who hate me.

8 К раще вдаватись до Господа, ніж надіятися на людину,

It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

9 к раще вдаватись до Господа, ніж надіятися на вельможних!

It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

10 В сі народи мене оточили, я ж Господнім ім'ям їх понищив!

All nations (the surrounding tribes) compassed me about, but in the name of the Lord I will cut them off!

11 О точили мене й обступили мене, я ж Господнім ім'ям їх понищив!

They compassed me about, yes, they surrounded me on every side; but in the name of the Lord I will cut them off!

12 О точили мене немов бджоли, та погасли вони, як терновий огонь, я бо Господнім ім'ям їх понищив!

They swarmed about me like bees, they blaze up and are extinguished like a fire of thorns; in the name of the Lord I will cut them off!

13 Д ошкульно попхнув ти мене на падіння, та Господь спас мене!

You thrust sorely at me that I might fall, but the Lord helped me.

14 Г осподь моя сила та пісня, і став Він спасінням мені!

The Lord is my Strength and Song; and He has become my Salvation.

15 Г олос співу й спасіння в наметах між праведників: Господня правиця виконує чуда!

The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents and private dwellings of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength!

16 П равиця Господня підноситься, правиця Господня виконує чуда!

The right hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly and achieves strength!

17 Н е помру, але житиму, і буду звіщати про чини Господні!

I shall not die but live, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.

18 П окарати мене покарав був Господь, та смерти мені не завдав.

The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over to death.

19 В ідчиніте мені брами правди, я ними ввійду, буду славити Господа!

Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter through them, and I will confess and praise the Lord.

20 Ц е брама Господня, праведники в неї входять.

This is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it.

21 Я буду хвалити Тебе, бо озвався до мене, і став Ти спасінням мені!

I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You, for You have heard and answered me; and You have become my Salvation and Deliverer.

22 К амінь, що його будівничі відкинули, той наріжним став каменем,

The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.

23 в ід Господа сталося це, і дивне воно в очах наших!

This is from the Lord and is His doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

24 Ц е день, що його створив Господь, радіймо та тішмося в нім!

This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 П росимо, Господи, спаси! Просимо, Господи, пощасти!

Save now, we beseech You, O Lord; send now prosperity, O Lord, we beseech You, and give to us success!

26 Б лагословен, хто гряде у Господнє ім'я! Благословляємо вас із Господнього дому!

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; we bless you from the house of the Lord.

27 Г осподь Бог, і засяяв Він нам. Прив'яжіте святковую жертву шнурами аж до наріжників жертівника!

The Lord is God, Who has shown and given us light. Decorate the festival with leafy boughs and bind the sacrifices to be offered with thick cords to the horns of the altar.

28 Т и мій Бог, і я буду Тебе прославляти, мій Боже, я буду Тебе величати!

You are my God, and I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You; You are my God, I will extol You.

29 Д якуйте Господу, добрий бо Він, бо навіки Його милосердя!
