I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous works and wonderful deeds!

2 ( 9-3) Я буду радіти, і тішитись буду Тобою, і буду виспівувати Ймення Твоє, о Всевишній!

I will rejoice in You and be in high spirits; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High!

3 ( 9-4) Як будуть назад відступати мої вороги, то спіткнуться і вигинуть перед обличчям Твоїм!

When my enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished before You.

4 ( 9-5) Бо суд мій і справу мою розсудив Ти, Ти на троні суддевім сидів, Судде праведний!

For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging righteously.

5 ( 9-6) Докорив Ти народам, безбожного знищив, ім'я їхнє Ти витер на вічні віки!

You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever.

6 ( 9-7) О вороже мій, руйнування твої закінчились на вічність, ти й міста повалив був, і згинула з ними їхня пам'ять!

The enemy have been cut off and have vanished in everlasting ruins, You have plucked up and overthrown their cities; the very memory of them has perished and vanished.

7 ( 9-8) Та буде Господь пробувати навіки, Він для суду поставив престола Свого,

But the Lord shall remain and continue forever; He has prepared and established His throne for judgment.

8 ( 9-9) і вселенну Він буде судити по правді, справедливістю буде судити народи.

And He will judge the world in righteousness (rightness and equity); He will minister justice to the peoples in uprightness.

9 ( 9-10) і твердинею буде Господь для пригніченого, в час недолі притулком.

The Lord also will be a refuge and a high tower for the oppressed, a refuge and a stronghold in times of trouble (high cost, destitution, and desperation).

10 ( 9-11) і на Тебе надіятись будуть усі, що ім'я Твоє знають, бо не кинув Ти, Господи, тих, хто шукає Тебе!

And they who know Your name will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for) You.

11 ( 9-12) Співайте Господеві, що сидить на Сіоні, між народами розповідайте про чини Його,

Sing praises to the Lord, Who dwells in Zion! Declare among the peoples His doings!

12 ( 9-13) бо карає Він вчинки криваві, про них пам'ятає, і не забуває Він зойку убогих!

For He Who avenges the blood remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted (the poor and the humble).

13 ( 9-14) Помилуй мене, Господи, поглянь на страждання моє від моїх ненависників, Ти, що мене підіймаєш із брам смерти,

Have mercy upon me and be gracious to me, O Lord; consider how I am afflicted by those who hate me, You Who lift me up from the gates of death,

14 ( 9-15) щоб я розповідав про всю славу Твою, у брамах Сіонської доні я буду радіти спасінням Твоїм!

That I may show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your praises! In the gates of the Daughter of Zion I will rejoice in Your salvation and Your saving help.

15 ( 9-16) Народи попадали в яму, яку самі викопали, до пастки, яку заховали, нога їхня схоплена.

The nations have sunk down in the pit that they made; in the net which they hid is their own foot caught.

16 ( 9-17) Господь знаний, Він суд учинив, спіткнувсь нечестивий у вчинку своєї руки! Гра на струнах. Села.

The Lord has made Himself known; He executes judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion. Selah!

17 ( 9-18) Попрямують безбожні в шеол, всі народи, що Бога забули,

The wicked shall be turned back into Sheol (the place of the departed spirits of the wicked), even all the nations that forget or are forgetful of God.

18 ( 9-19) бож не навіки забудеться бідний, надія убогих не згине назавжди!

For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the expectation and hope of the meek and the poor shall not perish forever.

19 ( 9-20) Устань же, о Господи, хай людина не перемагає, нехай перед лицем Твоїм засуджені будуть народи!

Arise, O Lord! Let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before You.

20 ( 9-21) Накинь, Господи, пострах на них, нехай знають народи, що вони тільки люди! Села.

Put them in fear, O Lord, that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah!
