1 П існя прочан. З глибини я взиваю до Тебе, о Господи:

Out of the depths have I cried to You, O Lord.

2 Г осподи, почуй же мій голос! Нехай уші Твої будуть чулі на голос благання мого!

Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 Я кщо, Господи, будеш зважати на беззаконня, хто встоїть, Владико?

If You, Lord, should keep account of and treat sins, O Lord, who could stand?

4 Б о в Тебе пробачення, щоб боятись Тебе...

But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be reverently feared and worshiped.

5 Я надіюсь на Господа, має надію душа моя, і на слово Його я вповаю.

I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait, and in His word do I hope.

6 В иглядає душа моя Господа більш, ніж поранку сторожа, що до ранку вона стереже.

I am looking and waiting for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, I say, more than watchmen for the morning.

7 Х ай надію складає ізраїль на Господа, бо з Господом милість, і велике визволення з Ним,

O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is mercy and loving-kindness, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

8 і ізраїля визволить Він від усіх його прогріхів!

And He will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
