Psalm 130 ~ Psalm 130

picture

1 O ut of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh.

Out of the depths have I cried to You, O Lord.

2 L ord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 I f you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

If You, Lord, should keep account of and treat sins, O Lord, who could stand?

4 B ut there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be reverently feared and worshiped.

5 I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

I wait for the Lord, I expectantly wait, and in His word do I hope.

6 M y soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning.

I am looking and waiting for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, I say, more than watchmen for the morning.

7 I srael, hope in Yahweh, for with Yahweh there is loving kindness. With him is abundant redemption.

O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is mercy and loving-kindness, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

8 H e will redeem Israel from all their sins.

And He will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
