1 Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with cherubim. The work of the skillful workman you shall make them.

2 T he length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits: all the curtains shall have one measure.

The length of one curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; each of the curtains shall measure the same.

3 F ive curtains shall be coupled together to one another; and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another.

The five curtains shall be coupled to one another, and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another.

4 Y ou shall make loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain from the edge in the coupling; and likewise you shall make in the edge of the curtain that is outermost in the second coupling.

And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the last curtain in the first set, and likewise in the second set.

5 Y ou shall make fifty loops in the one curtain, and you shall make fifty loops in the edge of the curtain that is in the second coupling. The loops shall be opposite to one another.

Fifty loops you shall make on the one curtain and fifty loops on the edge of the last curtain that is in the second coupling or set, so that the loops on one correspond to the loops on the other.

6 Y ou shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains to one another with the clasps: and the tabernacle shall be a unit.

And you shall make fifty clasps of gold and fasten the curtains together with the clasps; then the tabernacle shall be one whole.

7 You shall make curtains of goats’ hair for a covering over the tabernacle. You shall make them eleven curtains.

And make curtains of goats’ hair to be a covering over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shall you make.

8 T he length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits: the eleven curtains shall have one measure.

One curtain shall be thirty cubits long and four cubits wide; and the eleven curtains shall all measure the same.

9 Y ou shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shall double over the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tent.

You shall join together five curtains by themselves and six curtains by themselves, and shall double over the sixth curtain in the front of the tabernacle.

10 Y ou shall make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outermost in the coupling, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain which is outermost in the second coupling.

And make fifty loops on the edge of the outmost curtain in the one set and fifty loops on the edge of the outmost curtain in the second set.

11 Y ou shall make fifty clasps of brass, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one.

You shall make fifty clasps of bronze and put the clasps into the loops and couple the tent together, that it may be one whole.

12 T he overhanging part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.

The surplus that remains of the tent curtains, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.

13 T he cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.

And the cubit on the one side and the cubit on the other side of what remains in the length of the curtains of the tent shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and that side, to cover it.

14 Y ou shall make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of sea cow hides above.

You shall make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins tanned red, and a covering above that of dolphin or porpoise skins.

15 You shall make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing up.

And you shall make the upright frame for the tabernacle of boards of acacia wood.

16 T en cubits shall be the length of a board, and one and a half cubits the width of each board.

Ten cubits shall be the length of a board and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board.

17 T here shall be two tenons in each board, joined to one another: thus you shall make for all the boards of the tabernacle.

Make two tenons in each board for dovetailing and fitting together; so shall you do for all the tabernacle boards.

18 Y ou shall make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards for the south side southward.

And make the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side;

19 Y ou shall make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.

And you shall make forty silver sockets under the twenty boards, two sockets under each board for its two tenons.

20 F or the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, twenty boards,

And for the north side of the tabernacle there shall be twenty boards

21 a nd their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

And their forty silver sockets, two sockets under each board.

22 F or the far part of the tabernacle westward you shall make six boards.

For the back or west side of the tabernacle you shall make six boards.

23 Y ou shall make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the far part.

Make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the rear on both sides.

24 T hey shall be double beneath, and in the same way they shall be whole to its top to one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.

They shall be coupled down below and coupled together on top with one ring. Thus shall it be for both of them; they shall form the two corners.

25 T here shall be eight boards, and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

And that will be eight boards and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets, two sockets under each board.

26 You shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

And you shall make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of one side,

27 a nd five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the far part westward.

And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the rear end of the tabernacle, for the back wall to the west.

28 T he middle bar in the middle of the boards shall pass through from end to end.

And the middle bar halfway up the boards shall pass through from end to end.

29 Y ou shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and you shall overlay the bars with gold.

You shall overlay the boards with gold and make their rings of gold to hold the bars and overlay the bars with gold.

30 Y ou shall set up the tabernacle according to the way that it was shown to you on the mountain.

You shall erect the tabernacle after the plan of it shown you on the mountain.

31 You shall make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, with cherubim. The work of the skillful workman shall it be made.

And make a veil of blue, purple, and scarlet and fine twined linen, skillfully worked with cherubim on it.

32 Y ou shall hang it on four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, on four sockets of silver.

You shall hang it on four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold, with gold hooks, on four sockets of silver.

33 Y ou shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and shall bring the ark of the testimony in there within the veil: and the veil shall separate the holy place from the most holy for you.

And you shall hang the veil from the clasps and bring the ark of the Testimony into place within the veil; and the veil shall separate for you the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place.

34 Y ou shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.

And you shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy Place.

35 Y ou shall set the table outside the veil, and the lamp stand over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south: and you shall put the table on the north side.

And you shall set the table outside the veil on the north side and the lampstand opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle.

36 You shall make a screen for the door of the Tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer.

You shall make a hanging for the door of the tent of blue, purple, and scarlet and fine twined linen, embroidered.

37 Y ou shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold: their hooks shall be of gold: and you shall cast five sockets of brass for them.

You shall make five pillars of acacia wood to support the hanging curtain and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.
