3 W hat will be given to you, and what will be done more to you, you deceitful tongue?
What shall be given to you? Or what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue?—
4 S harp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
Sharp arrows of a warrior, with coals of the broom tree!
5 W oe is me, that I live in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!
Woe is me that I sojourn with Meshech, that I dwell beside the tents of Kedar!
6 M y soul has had her dwelling too long with him who hates peace.
My life has too long had its dwelling with him who hates peace.
7 I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war.
I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.
