1 Б оже, помилуй меня по Своей милости, по великой Своей любви изгладь мои беззакония.

¶ Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy mercy; according unto the multitude of thy compassion eradicate my rebellion.

2 О мой меня от неправды и от греха очисти,

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

3 п отому что я сознаю свои беззакония, и грех мой всегда предо мной.

For I acknowledge my rebellion; and my sin is ever before me.

4 П ротив Тебя Одного я согрешил и в Твоих глазах сделал зло. Ты справедлив в Своем приговоре и безупречен в суде Своем.

Against thee, against thee only, have I sinned and done this evil in thy sight that thou be declared just in thy word and pure in thy judgment.

5 В от, грешником я родился, грешным зачала меня моя мать.

Behold, the pain of my iniquity has caused me to writhe; my mother conceived me so that sin might be removed from me.

6 Н о Ты желаешь истины, сокрытой в сердце, так наполни меня Своей мудростью.

Behold, thou dost desire truth in the inward parts, and in the secret things thou hast made me to know wisdom.

7 О чисти меня иссопом, и буду чист; омой меня, и стану белее снега.

¶ Remove the sin in me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8 Д ай мне услышать веселье и радость; пусть порадуются кости, Тобой сокрушенные.

Make me to hear joy and gladness that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

9 О тврати лицо от моих грехов и неправду мою изгладь.

Hide thy face from my sins and eradicate all my iniquities.

10 С отвори во мне чистое сердце, Боже, и обнови во мне правый дух.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Н е отвергни меня от Себя и не лиши меня Твоего Святого Духа.

Cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.

12 В ерни мне радость Твоего спасения и Духом владычественным поддержи меня

Restore unto me the joy of thy saving health, and thy spirit of liberty shall uphold me.

13 Т огда я научу нечестивых Твоим путям, и грешники к Тебе обратятся.

Then I will teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

14 Б оже, избавь меня от кровопролития, Боже моего спасения, и язык мой восхвалит праведность Твою.

¶ Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

15 О ткрой мне уста, Владыка, и они Тебя возвеличат.

O Lord, open my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.

16 Ж ертва Тебе неугодна – я дал бы ее, всесожжения Ты не желаешь.

For thou dost not desire sacrifice or else would I give it; thou dost not delight in burnt offering.

17 Ж ертва Богу – дух сокрушенный; сокрушенное и скорбящее сердце, Боже, Ты не пренебрежешь.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

18 С отвори Сиону добро по Своей благосклонности; заново возведи стены Иерусалима.

Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion; build thou the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Т огда будут угодны Тебе предписанные жертвы, возношения и всесожжения; тогда приведут быков к Твоему жертвеннику.

Then thou shalt be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, the burnt offering, the offering that has been totally consumed by the fire; then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
