1 – Не разносите лживых слухов. Не помогайте виновному лжесвидетельством.

¶ Thou shalt not admit a false rumour; put not thine hand with the wicked to be a false witness.

2 Н е следуйте за большинством, творя зло или извращая на суде правду,

Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause hiding behind many to wrest judgment;

3 и не потворствуйте бедному в его тяжбе.

neither shalt thou honour a poor man in his cause.

4 Е сли увидите, что вол или осел у врага заблудились, непременно верните их ему.

If thou should encounter thine enemy’s ox or his ass astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

5 Е сли увидите, что осел того, кто ненавидит вас, упал под ношей, не оставляйте его так, непременно помогите ему.

If thou see the ass of him that hates thee lying under his burden, will thou forbear to help him? Thou shalt surely help him to raise it up.

6 Н е лишайте бедняков правосудия.

Thou shalt not pervert the rights of thy poor in his cause.

7 Н е обвиняйте ложно, не казните невиновного и честного: Я не прощу такого злодеяния.

Keep thee far from a false matter; and slay thou not the innocent and righteous; for I will not justify the wicked.

8 Н е берите взяток: они ослепляют зрячих и губят невиновных.

And thou shalt take no bribe; for the bribe blinds the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

9 Н е угнетайте поселенцев. Вы сами знаете, каково поселенцам, потому что были ими в Египте. Субботний год и субботний день

Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger, for ye know the state of the soul of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

10 – Шесть лет засевайте поля и собирайте урожай,

¶ And six years thou shalt sow thy land and shalt gather in its increase,

11 а на седьмой год пусть земля отдыхает под паром. Тогда бедняки из народа смогут кормиться от нее, а звери – доедать после них остатки. Так же поступайте с виноградниками и масличными рощами.

but the seventh year thou shalt leave it free and release it, that the poor of thy people may eat, and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard and with thy oliveyard.

12 Ш есть дней трудитесь, но в седьмой день не работайте, чтобы ваши вол и осел отдохнули, а раб, рожденный у вас в доме, и поселенец набрались сил.

Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest, that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid and the stranger may be refreshed.

13 Б удьте внимательны ко всему, что Я вам сказал. Не призывайте имен других богов. Пусть ваши уста даже не произносят их имен. Три ежегодных праздника

And in all things that I have said unto you, be circumspect and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

14 – Три раза в год устраивайте Мне праздник.

Three times thou shalt celebrate a feast unto me in the year:

15 С правляйте праздник Пресных хлебов. Семь дней ешьте хлеб, приготовленный без закваски, как Я повелел вам. Делайте так в установленное время месяца авива, потому что в этом месяце вы вышли из Египта. Пусть никто не приходит поклоняться Мне с пустыми руками.

Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib, for in it thou didst come out from Egypt; and none shall appear before me empty),

16 С правляйте праздник Жатвы, когда собираете первые плоды посеянного вами в поле. Справляйте и праздник Сбора плодов в конце года, когда убираете с поля весь урожай.

And the feast of the harvest of the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field, and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

17 Т ри раза в год все мужчины должны приходить поклоняться Владыке Господу.

Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

18 Н е приносите Мне жертвенной крови вместе с чем-либо, приготовленным на закваске. Жир от праздничных приношений нельзя хранить до утра.

Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my lamb remain until the morning.

19 Л учшее из первых плодов земли приносите в дом Господа, вашего Бога. Не варите козленка в молоке его матери. Ангел, посланный приготовить путь

The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in his mother’s milk.

20 – Я посылаю перед вами Ангела, чтобы защищать вас в пути и привести на место, которое Я приготовил.

¶ Behold, I send the Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

21 Б удьте внимательны к Нему и слушайтесь Его. Не восставайте против Него; Он не простит вам отступничества, потому что в Нем – Мое Имя.

Keep thyself before him and hear his voice, grieve him not; for he will not pardon your rebellion, for my name is in him.

22 Е сли вы будете слушаться Его, если будете исполнять все, что Я говорю, Я буду врагом вашим врагам и противником вашим противникам.

But if thou shalt indeed hear his voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies and an adversary unto those that afflict thee.

23 М ой Ангел пойдет перед вами и приведет вас в землю аморреев, хеттов, ферезеев, хананеев, хивеев и иевусеев, и Я погублю их.

For my Angel shall go before thee and bring thee in unto the land of the Amorite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Canaanite the Hivite and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off.

24 Н е поклоняйтесь их богам, не служите им и не подражайте их обычаям. Сокрушите их и разбейте на куски их священные камни.

Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works; but thou shalt utterly overthrow them and completely break down their images.

25 С лужите Господу, вашему Богу, и Его благословение будет на вашей пище и воде. Я избавлю вас от болезней,

But ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread and thy water; and I will take all sickness away from the midst of thee.

26 и в вашей земле не будет выкидышей и бесплодия. Я сделаю полным число дней вашей жизни.

No women shall abort, nor be barren, in thy land; the number of thy days I will fulfil.

27 Я пошлю перед вами Мой ужас и повергну в смятение всякий народ, против которого вы пойдете. Я обращу в бегство ваших врагов.

I will send my fear before thee and will trouble all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

28 Я пошлю перед вами шершней, чтобы прогнать с вашей дороги хивеев, хананеев и хеттов.

And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before thee.

29 Н о Я не прогоню их в один год – ведь тогда земля опустеет, а диких зверей станет слишком много.

I will not drive them out from before thee in one year lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field multiply against thee.

30 Я буду прогонять их от вас постепенно, пока вас не станет достаточно, чтобы завладеть этой землей.

Little by little I will drive them out from before thee until thou be multiplied and take the land by inheritance.

31 Я проведу ваши границы от Красного моря до Филистимского моря, и от пустыни до Евфрата. Я отдам вам во власть жителей этой земли, и вы прогоните их от себя.

And I will set thy borders from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines and from the desert unto the river; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

32 Н е вступайте в союз ни с ними, ни с их богами.

Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

33 Н е давайте им жить на вашей земле, иначе они введут вас в грех против Меня: служение их богам непременно станет для вас западней.

They shall not dwell in thy land lest peradventure they make thee sin against me by serving their gods, for it will be a snare unto thee.
