1 П рославь, душа моя, Господа! Господи, мой Бог, Ты очень велик, Ты облачен в славу и величие.

¶ Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty,

2 Т ы покрываешь Себя светом, как одеждою. Небеса простираешь, как занавес,

who dost cover thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain,

3 и устанавливаешь над водами Свои небесные чертоги. Облака делаешь Своей колесницей, ходишь на крыльях ветра.

who dost establish his chambers between the waters, who makes the clouds his chariot, who walks upon the wings of the wind,

4 Т ы делаешь ангелов Твоих ветрами, и слуг Твоих языками пламени.

who makes his angels spirits, his ministers a flaming fire,

5 З емлю Ты утвердил на ее основании, чтобы никогда не пошатнулась.

who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved by any age.

6 Б ездною, как одеянием, покрыл ее, воды стояли выше гор.

Thou didst cover it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains.

7 Н о отступили воды от окрика Твоего, при звуке Твоего грома они поспешили прочь.

At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

8 Н а горы поднялись, а после спустились в долины, в место, которое Ты назначил для них.

The mountains were exposed; they descended through the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

9 Т ы поставил им предел, который не смогут перейти, и землю вновь не покроют.

Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over, that they not turn again to cover the earth.

10 Т ы посылаешь реки в долины; они текут между горами.

¶ Thou art he who sends the springs into the valleys, which run among the mountains.

11 О ни поят всех полевых зверей; дикие ослы утоляют там свою жажду.

They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst.

12 У воды гнездятся небесные птицы, из ветвей подают свой голос.

Next to them the fowls of the heavens have their habitation; they sing among the leaves.

13 Т ы поишь холмы из Своих небесных чертогов; земля насыщена плодом Твоих дел.

He waters the mountains from his chambers; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

14 Т ы растишь траву для скота и зелень на пользу человека, чтобы он производил пищу из земли

He causes the hay to grow for the cattle and grass for the service of man, that he may bring forth bread out of the earth

15 в ино, веселящее сердце человека, и масло, от которого светится лицо его, и хлеб, укрепляющий его сердце.

and wine that makes glad the heart of man, making his face to shine with oil and bread which sustains man’s heart.

16 Н асыщены деревья Господни, ливанские кедры, которые Он насадил.

The trees of the LORD are satisfied; the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted,

17 Н а них птицы вьют свои гнезда, ели – жилища аисту.

that the birds may make their nests there: the stork makes her house among the fir trees.

18 В ысокие горы – убежище для диких козлов, и скалы – для даманов.

The high mountains are a refuge for the wild goats, and the rocks for the conies.

19 О н поставил луну для указания месяцев; солнце знает где ему заходить.

¶ He appointed the moon for times and seasons; the sun knows his going down.

20 Т ы простираешь тьму – и наступает ночь, в которой бродят все звери лесные.

Thou makest darkness, and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest move.

21 М олодые львы рычат о добыче и просят у Бога пищу себе.

The young lions roar after their prey and seek their food from God.

22 В осходит солнце, они собираются вместе и ложатся в своем логове.

The sun arises, they withdraw and lay themselves down in their dens.

23 В ыходит человек на свою работу, и трудится до вечера.

Man goes forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

24 Г осподи, как многочисленны Твои дела! По Своей мудрости Ты все сотворил; земля полна Твоих созданий.

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom thou hast made them all; the earth is full of thy riches.

25 В от, море, богатое и пространное, в котором нет числа пресмыкающимся, животным малым и большим.

So is this great and wide sea, wherein are innumerable creeping things, both small and great beasts.

26 В нем плавают корабли, там Левиафан, которого Ты сотворил играть в нем.

There go the ships; there is that leviathan, whom thou didst make to play therein.

27 В се они ожидают от Тебя, чтобы Ты дал им вовремя их пищу.

These wait all upon thee, that thou may give them their food in due season.

28 Т ы даешь им – они принимают, открываешь Свою руку – насыщаются.

Thou givest unto them, they gather; thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

29 Е сли скрываешь Свое лицо, они в смятении. Когда отнимешь их дыхание, умирают они и возвращаются в прах.

Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; thou takest away their spirit, they cease to exist and return to their dust.

30 П ошлешь Свой дух, и они сотворены, и Ты обновляешь лицо земли.

Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created; and thou renewest the face of the earth.

31 Д а будет слава Господня вовеки; да возрадуется Господь Своим делам!

¶ Let the glory of the LORD endure for ever; let the LORD rejoice in his works.

32 О н смотрит на землю, и трепещет она, прикасается к холмам, и дымятся они.

He looks on the earth, and it trembles: he touches the mountains, and they smoke.

33 Б уду петь Господу, пока я жив; воспою хвалу моему Богу, пока существую.

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 Д а будет приятно Ему размышление мое, буду радоваться о Господе.

My meditation of him shall be sweet; I will be glad in the LORD.

35 П усть исчезнут грешники с лица земли, и не будет больше беззаконных. Прославь, душа моя, Господа! Аллилуйя!

Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Halelu- JAH (Praise ye the LORD).
