1 С охрани меня, Боже, ведь в Тебе я ищу прибежища!

¶ Preserve me, O God: for in thee I have put my trust.

2 Г осподу я сказал: «Ты мой Владыка, кроме Тебя, нет у меня блага ».

I said unto the LORD, Thou art my goodness: I have no goodness apart from thee;

3 А святые, которые на земле, – величавы они, в них вся моя радость.

to the saints that are in the earth and to the excellent: all my delight is towards them.

4 П усть множатся скорби у тех, кто пойдет за чужими богами. Не изолью я кровавых их возлияний, не помянут их имен мои уста.

The sorrows of those that hasten after another god shall be multiplied; their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

5 Г осподь – мой лучший удел и мой кубок; Ты держишь мой жребий.

The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; thou dost maintain my lot.

6 Г раницы моей земли прошли по дивным местам – прекрасно наследие мое.

The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a beautiful inheritance.

7 В осхвалю Господа, наставляющего меня, даже ночью сердце мое меня учит.

I will bless the LORD, who gives me counsel: my kidneys also instruct me in the night seasons.

8 Я всегда видел Господа перед собой: Он по правую руку от меня – я не поколеблюсь.

¶ I have set the LORD always before me: because when he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

9 П оэтому веселится сердце мое, и радуется язык, и тело мое будет жить надеждой.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest secure.

10 В едь Ты не оставишь мою душу в мире мертвых, и не дашь Твоему святому увидеть тление.

For thou wilt not leave my soul in Sheol; neither wilt thou suffer thy Merciful One to see corruption.

11 Т ы показал мне путь жизни; сердце мое исполнится ликованием пред лицом Твоим. Блаженство быть вовек по правую руку Твою.

Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; in thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
