1 В от главы семейств и родословия тех, кто вышел со мной из Вавилона во время правления царя Артаксеркса:

¶ These are now the heads of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of those that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes, the king:

2 и з потомков Пинехаса – Гершом; из потомков Итамара – Даниил; из потомков Давида – Хаттуш;

Of the sons of Phinehas; Gershon: of the sons of Ithamar; Daniel: of the sons of David; Hattush.

3 с ын Шекании, из потомков Пароша – Захария, и с ним по родословному списку было 150 мужчин;

Of the sons of Shechaniah, of the sons of Pharosh; Zechariah: and with him were reckoned by genealogy of the males one hundred and fifty.

4 и з потомков Пахат-Моава – Елиегоенай, сын Зерахии, и с ним 200 мужчин;

Of the sons of Pahathmoab; Elihoenai, the son of Zerahiah, and with him two hundred males.

5 и з потомков Затту – Шекания, сын Иахазиила, и с ним 300 мужчин;

Of the sons of Shechaniah; the son of Jahaziel, and with him three hundred males.

6 и з потомков Адина – Эвед, сын Ионафана, и с ним 50 мужчин;

Of the sons also of Adin; Ebed, the son of Jonathan, and with him fifty males.

7 и з потомков Елама – Иешаия, сын Аталии, и с ним 70 мужчин;

And of the sons of Elam; Jeshaiah, the son of Athaliah, and with him seventy males.

8 и з потомков Шефатии – Зевадия, сын Михаила, и с ним 80 мужчин;

And of the sons of Shephatiah; Zebadiah, the son of Michael, and with him eighty males.

9 и з потомков Иоава – Авдий, сын Иехиела, и с ним 218 мужчин;

Of the sons of Joab; Obadiah, the son of Jehiel, and with him two hundred and eighteen males.

10 и з потомков Вании – Шеломит, сын Иосифии, и с ним 160 мужчин;

And of the sons of Shelomith; the son of Josiphiah, and with him one hundred and sixty males.

11 и з потомков Бевая – Захария, сын Бевая, и с ним 28 мужчин;

And of the sons of Bebai; Zechariah, the son of Bebai, and with him twenty-eight males.

12 и з потомков Азгада – Иоханан, сын Гаккатана, и с ним 110 мужчин;

And of the sons of Azgad; Johanan, the son of Hakkatan, and with him one hundred and ten males.

13 и з потомков Адоникама, последние, чьи имена Элифелет – Иеиел и Шемая, и с ними 60 мужчин;

And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these: Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them sixty males.

14 и з потомков Бигвая – Уфай и Заккур, и с ними 70 мужчин. Ездра призывает левитов и храмовых слуг к возвращению

Of the sons also of Bigvai; Uthai and Zabbud and with them seventy males.

15 Я собрал их у реки, которая течет в сторону Агавы, где мы разбили лагерь и провели там три дня. Когда я осмотрел народ и священников, то не нашел среди них ни одного левита.

And I gathered them together to the river that runs to Ahava, and there we encamped three days, and having searched among the people and the priests, I did not find there any of the sons of Levi.

16 Т огда я позвал Элиезера, Ариила, Шемаю, Элнафана, Иарива, Элнафана, Нафана, Захарию и Мешуллама, которые были вождями, и ученых – Иоиарива и Элнафана,

Then I commissioned Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah, and Meshullam, principals, also Joiarib and Elnathan, men of understanding;

17 и отправил их к Иддо, к вождю в Касифии. Я велел им передать Иддо и его родственникам, храмовым слугам в Касифии, чтобы они привели к нам служителей для дома нашего Бога.

and I sent them unto Iddo, the captain at the place of Casiphia, and I put words in their mouth that they should speak unto Iddo and to his brethren, the Nethinims, at the place of Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

18 Т ак как милостивая рука нашего Бога была над нами, они привели к нам Шеревию, способного человека из потомков Махлия, сына Левия, сына Иакова, и сыновей и братьев Шеревии – восемнадцать мужчин;

And by the good hand of our God upon us, they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;

19 и Хашавию вместе с Иешаией из потомков Мерари, и его братьев и племянников – двадцать мужчин.

and Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty;

20 О ни также привели двести двадцать храмовых слуг – группу служителей, которых Давид и чиновники отдали в помощь левитам. Все они были записаны поименно. Подготовка к пути

also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the ministry of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.

21 Т ам, у реки Агавы, я объявил пост, чтобы мы могли смирить себя перед нашим Богом и попросить Его о безопасном путешествии для нас и наших детей со всем нашим имуществом.

¶ Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us and for our little ones and for all our substance.

22 М не было стыдно просить у царя войска и всадников для нашей защиты от врагов в пути, потому что мы уже сказали царю: «Милостивая рука нашего Бога на каждом, кто ищет Его, но Его великий гнев на всех, кто покидает Его».

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to defend us against the enemy in the way because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all those that seek him for good; but his power and his wrath is against all those that forsake him.

23 И так, мы постились и просили нашего Бога об этом, и Он ответил на нашу молитву.

So we fasted and besought our God for this, and he was intreated of us.

24 З атем я отделил двенадцать главных священников: Шеревию вместе с Хашавией и десять других из их братьев

¶ Then I separated twelve of the principals of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,

25 и , взвесив, я отдал им пожертвованное серебро и золото и предметы, которые царь, его советники и его чиновники, и все находившиеся там израильтяне отдали для дома нашего Бога.

and weighed unto them the silver and the gold and the vessels, the offering for the house of our God, which the king and his counsellors and his princes and all those that were of Israel had offered.

26 В звесив, я отдал им шестьсот пятьдесят талантов серебра и серебряных предметов на сто талантов, золота – сто талантов,

I weighed, therefore, unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver and silver vessels of one hundred talents and of gold one hundred talents;

27 д вадцать золотых чаш стоимостью в тысячу драхм и два сосуда из лучшей блестящей меди, ценимой, как золото.

also twenty basins of gold, of a thousand drams, and two vessels of clean brass, precious as gold.

28 И я сказал им: – Вы, также как и все эти предметы, посвящены Господу. Серебро и золото являются добровольным пожертвованием Господу, Богу ваших отцов.

And I said unto them, Ye are holiness unto the LORD; the vessels are holiness also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.

29 Б ережно храните все это до тех пор, пока не передадите в хранилище дома Господа в Иерусалиме, взвесив все на глазах у главных священников, левитов, и глав семейств Израиля.

Watch and keep them until you weigh them before the princes of the priests and the Levites and of the princes of the fathers of Israel in Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.

30 З атем священники и левиты приняли серебро, золото и священные предметы, которые были отданы для того, чтобы их отвезли в дом нашего Бога в Иерусалиме. Возвращение в Иерусалим

The priests and the Levites received the weight of the silver and of the gold and of the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

31 В двенадцатый день первого месяца мы отправились в путь от реки Агавы, чтобы дойти до Иерусалима. Рука нашего Бога была над нами, и Он защитил нас от врагов и разбойников в пути.

¶ And we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth of the first month to go to Jerusalem; and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy and of such as lay in wait by the way.

32 И так, мы пришли в Иерусалим, где отдыхали три дня.

And we came to Jerusalem and abode there three days.

33 Н а четвертый день в доме нашего Бога мы, взвесив серебро, золото и священные предметы, передали их в руки священника Меремофа, сына Урии. С ним был Элеазар, сын Пинехаса, а также левиты – Иозавад, сын Иисусов, и Ноадия, сын Биннуя.

Now on the fourth day the silver and the gold and the vessels were weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth, the son of Uriah, the priest; and with him was Eleazar, the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad, the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah, the son of Binnui, Levites;

34 В се было сосчитано по количеству и весу, и в то же время был записан общий вес.

by number and by weight of each one; and all the weight was written at that time.

35 З атем пришедшие из плена переселенцы принесли жертвы всесожжения Богу Израилеву – двенадцать быков за весь Израиль, девяносто шесть овец, семьдесят семь ягнят мужского пола и двенадцать козлов в жертву за грех. Все это было принесено в жертву всесожжения Господу.

Those that had been carried away, the sons of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, twelve he goats as sin; all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.

36 О ни также отдали царские приказы царским сатрапам и наместникам провинции за Евфратом, которые потом оказали поддержку народу и дому Божию.

And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants and captains of the other side the river, which favoured the people and the house of God.
