1 Ф арисеи услышали о том, что Иисус приобретал и крестил больше учеников, чем Иоанн,

¶ When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John

2 х отя на самом деле крестил не Иисус, а Его ученики.

(though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples),

3 К огда Иисус узнал, что о Нем говорят, Он покинул Иудею и направился обратно в Галилею.

he left Judaea and departed again into Galilee.

4 П уть Его лежал через Самарию,

¶ And it was necessary that he go through Samaria.

5 и Он пришел в самарийский город Сихарь, расположенный недалеко от участка земли, который Иаков некогда дал своему сыну Иосифу.

Then he came to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

6 Т ам был колодец Иакова, и Иисус, уставший после дороги, сел у колодца отдохнуть. Это было около шестого часа.

Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus, therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well; and it was about the sixth hour.

7 К колодцу пришла за водой одна самарийская женщина. – Дай Мне, пожалуйста, напиться воды, – попросил ее Иисус.

There came a woman of Samaria to draw water; Jesus said unto her, Give me to drink.

8 У ченики Его в это время пошли в город купить еды.

(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy food.)

9 С амарянка удивилась: – Ты иудей, а я самарянка, как это Ты можешь просить у меня напиться? (Дело в том, что иудеи не пользуются общей посудой с самарянами.)

Then said the Samaritan woman unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, who am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

10 И исус ответил ей: – Если бы ты знала о даре Божьем и о Том, Кто просит у тебя напиться, ты бы сама попросила Его, и Он дал бы тебе живой воды.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

11 Ж енщина сказала: – Господин, Тебе и зачерпнуть-то нечем, а колодец глубок. Откуда же у Тебя живая вода?

The woman said unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep; from where then hast thou that living water?

12 Н еужели Ты больше нашего предка Иакова, который оставил нам этот колодец и сам пил из него, и его сыновья пили, и стада его пили?

Art thou greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank thereof himself, and his sons and his cattle?

13 И исус ответил: – Кто пьет эту воду, тот опять захочет пить.

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinks of this water shall thirst again,

14 Т от же, кто пьет воду, которую Я дам ему, никогда больше не будет мучим жаждой. Вода, которую Я ему дам, станет в нем источником, текущим в вечную жизнь.

but whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life.

15 Ж енщина сказала Ему: – Господин, так дай же мне такой воды, чтобы я больше не хотела пить, и мне не нужно было приходить сюда за водой.

The woman said unto him, Lord, give me this water, that I not thirst, neither come here to draw.

16 О н сказал ей: – Пойди, позови своего мужа и возвращайся сюда.

Jesus said unto her, Go, call thy husband and come here.

17 – У меня нет мужа, – ответила женщина. Иисус сказал ей: – Ты права, когда говоришь, что у тебя нет мужа.

The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband;

18 В едь у тебя было пять мужей, и тот, с кем ты сейчас живешь, не муж тебе; это ты правду сказала.

for thou hast had five husbands, and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband; this hast thou said with truth.

19 – Господин, – сказала женщина, – я вижу, что Ты пророк.

The woman said unto him, Lord, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

20 Т ак объясни же мне, почему наши отцы поклонялись на этой горе, а вы, иудеи, говорите, что Богу следует поклоняться в Иерусалиме?

Our fathers worshipped in this mountain, and ye say that in Jerusalem is the place where it is necessary to worship.

21 И исус ответил: – Поверь Мне, женщина, настанет время, когда вы будете поклоняться Отцу не на этой горе и не в Иерусалиме.

Jesus said unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour comes when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem shall ye worship the Father.

22 В ы, самаряне, и сами толком не знаете, чему вы поклоняетесь, мы же знаем, чему поклоняемся, ведь спасение – от иудеев.

Ye worship what ye know not; we worship what we know, for saving health is of the Jews.

23 Н о наступит время, и уже наступило, когда истинные поклонники будут поклоняться Отцу в духе и истине, потому что именно таких поклонников ищет Себе Отец.

But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeks such to worship him.

24 Б ог есть Дух, и поклоняющиеся Ему должны поклоняться в духе и истине.

God is a Spirit and those that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

25 Ж енщина сказала: – Я знаю, что должен прийти Мессия, Которого называют Христом; вот когда Он придет, Он нам все и объяснит.

The woman said unto him, I know that the Messiah is to come, who is called the Christ; when he is come, he will declare unto us all things.

26 И исус сказал ей: – Это Я, Тот, Кто говорит с тобой. Иисус говорит о духовной жатве

Jesus said unto her, I AM that speak unto thee.

27 В это время возвратились Его ученики и удивились, что Иисус разговаривает с женщиной. Но никто, однако, не спросил, что Он хотел и почему Он с ней говорил.

¶ And upon this came his disciples and marvelled that he talked with that woman; yet no one said, What askest thou? or, What talkest thou with her?

28 Ж енщина оставила свой кувшин для воды, вернулась в город и сказала людям:

The woman then left her waterpot and went into the city and said to those men,

29 – Идите и посмотрите на Человека, Который рассказал мне все, что я сделала. Не Христос ли Он?

Come, see a man who told me all that I have done; is perchance this the Christ?

30 Н арод из города пошел к Иисусу.

Then they went out of the city and came unto him.

31 В это время Его ученики настаивали: – Рабби, поешь что-нибудь.

In the meanwhile his disciples entreated him, saying, Rabbi, eat.

32 Н о Он сказал им: – У Меня есть пища, о которой вы не знаете.

But he said unto them, I have a food to eat that ye know not of.

33 Т огда ученики стали переговариваться: – Может, кто-то принес Ему поесть?

Therefore said the disciples one to another, Has anyone brought him anything to eat?

34 – Пища Моя состоит в том, – сказал Иисус, – чтобы исполнить волю Пославшего Меня и совершить Его дело.

Jesus said unto them, My food is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work.

35 Р азве вы не говорите: «Еще четыре месяца, и будет жатва»? А Я говорю вам: поднимите глаза и посмотрите на поля, как они уже созрели для жатвы!

Do ye not say, There are yet four months and then comes harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are white already to harvest.

36 Ж нец получает свою награду. Он собирает урожай для жизни вечной, чтобы радовались вместе и сеятель, и жнец.

And he that reaps receives wages and gathers fruit unto eternal life, that both he that sows and he that reaps may rejoice together.

37 В этом случае верно изречение: один сеет, а другой жнет.

And herein is that saying true, One sows and another reaps.

38 Я послал вас жать то, над чем вы не трудились. Другие много поработали, вы же пожинаете плоды их трудов. Многие самаряне уверовали в Иисуса

I have sent you to reap that upon which ye bestowed no labour; others laboured, and ye have entered into their labours.

39 М ногие самаряне, жители этого города, уверовали в Иисуса, потому что женщина сказала: – Он рассказал мне все, что я сделала.

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in him by the word of the woman, who testified, He told me all that I have done.

40 С амаряне пришли к Нему и стали упрашивать Его остаться с ними, и Иисус провел там два дня.

So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they asked him to abide with them; and he abode there two days.

41 И еще больше людей уверовали в Него из-за Его слов.

And many more believed by his own word

42 О ни говорили женщине: – Мы верим уже не только по твоим словам. Теперь мы сами слышали и знаем, что Этот Человек действительно Спаситель мира. Проповедь Иисуса в Галилее

and said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy speech; for we have heard him ourselves and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

43 Ч ерез два дня Иисус отправился оттуда в Галилею.

¶ Now after two days he departed from that place and went into Galilee.

44 О н и Сам говорил, что пророк не имеет чести у себя на родине.

For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honour in his own country.

45 О днако когда Он пришел в Галилею, галилеяне Его радушно приняли, но только потому, что были в Иерусалиме на празднике Пасхи и видели все, что Иисус там совершил. Иисус исцеляет сына придворного

Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he had done in Jerusalem at the feast, for they had also gone to the feast.

46 И исус еще раз посетил Кану Галилейскую, где Он превратил воду в вино. В Капернауме был один придворный, у которого был болен сын.

So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.

47 К огда этот человек услышал о том, что Иисус пришел из Иудеи в Галилею, он пришел к Нему и умолял Его исцелить сына, который был при смерти.

When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him and besought him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

48 И исус сказал ему: – Пока вы не увидите чудес и знамений, никогда не поверите.

Then Jesus said unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

49 Н о придворный лишь ответил: – Господи, пойдем, пока сын мой еще не умер.

The nobleman said unto him, Sir, come down before my child dies.

50 И исус ответил: – Иди, твой сын будет жить. Человек поверил слову Иисуса и пошел.

Jesus said unto him, Go; thy son lives. And the man believed the word that Jesus spoke unto him, and he went.

51 О н был еще в пути, когда слуги встретили его и сообщили, что мальчик жив.

And as he was now going down, his slaves met him and told him, saying, Thy son lives.

52 О н спросил, в котором часу ему стало легче, и они сказали: – Вчера в седьмом часу жар у него прошел.

Then he enquired of them the hour when he began to get better. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.

53 О тец понял, что это произошло именно тогда, когда Иисус сказал ему: «Твой сын будет жить». Придворный и все его домашние поверили.

So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said unto him, Thy son lives; and he believed, and his whole house.

54 Э то было второе знамение, сотворенное Иисусом по приходе из Иудеи в Галилею.

This again is the second sign that Jesus did when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.
