1 И исус сказал Своим ученикам: – Поводы для греха не могут не появиться, но горе тому, кто толкает людей на грех.

¶ Then he said unto the disciples, It is impossible that offenses will not come, but woe unto the one through whom they come!

2 Д ля того, кто хотя бы одному из этих меньших даст повод ко греху, было бы лучше, если бы ему надели на шею мельничный жернов и бросили в море.

It would be better for him if a millstone turned by an ass were placed around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

3 П оэтому следите за собой! Если твой брат согрешает, упрекни его, и если он раскается, прости его.

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother should trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

4 Е сли даже он согрешит против тебя семь раз в день и семь раз придет к тебе и скажет: «Я каюсь», прости его.

And if he trespasses against thee seven times in a day and seven times in a day turns again to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.

5 А постолы как-то попросили Господа: – Прибавь нам веры!

And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

6 Г осподь ответил: – Если у вас есть вера как горчичное зерно, то вы можете сказать этому тутовому дереву: «Вырвись с корнем и пересади себя в море», – и оно вам подчинится.

And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamore tree, Pluck thyself up by the root, and plant thyself in the sea, and it would obey you.

7 Д опустим, у кого-то из вас есть слуга, который пашет или пасет овец. Скажете ли вы ему, когда он возвратится с поля: «Заходи, садись и ешь»?

But which of you, having a slave plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by when he is come from the field, Go and sit down at the table?

8 Н ет, вы скорее скажете: «Приготовь для меня ужин, потом подпояшься и прислуживай мне, пока я буду есть и пить, а потом будешь есть и пить сам».

And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup and gird thyself and serve me until I have eaten and drunken, and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

9 Б лагодарит ли хозяин слугу за то, что тот делает, что ему приказано?

Does he thank that slave because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.

10 Т ак и вы, когда сделаете все, что вам было приказано, говорите: «Мы недостойные слуги, мы сделали лишь то, что обязаны были сделать». Иисус исцеляет десять прокаженных

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable slaves: we have done that which was our duty to do.

11 П о пути в Иерусалим Иисус проходил вдоль границы между Самарией и Галилеей.

¶ And it came to pass as he went to Jerusalem that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12 К огда Он входил в одно селение, Его встретили десять прокаженных. Остановившись неподалеку,

And as he entered into a certain village, ten men that were lepers met him, who stood afar off

13 о ни громко закричали: – Иисус, Наставник, сжалься над нами!

and lifted up their voices and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 К огда Иисус их увидел, Он сказал: – Пойдите и покажитесь священникам. Те пошли и по дороге были исцелены.

When he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass that as they went, they were cleansed.

15 О дин из них, как только увидел, что исцелен, возвратился, громко прославляя Бога.

Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back and with a loud voice glorified God

16 О н пал к ногам Иисуса и благодарил Его. И этот человек был самарянином.

and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.

17 – Разве не десять человек были очищены? – спросил Иисус. – Где же остальные девять?

And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

18 П очему никто из них, кроме этого чужеземца, не возвратился, чтобы прославить Бога?

Were there not found any returning to give glory to God, except this stranger?

19 И сказал самарянину: – Встань и иди, твоя вера спасла тебя. Иисус говорит о грядущем Божьем Царстве (Мат. 24: 28, 37-39)

And he said unto him, Arise, go; thy faith has saved thee.

20 О днажды фарисеи спросили Иисуса, когда придет Божье Царство. Он ответил: – Божье Царство не придет зримым образом.

¶ And when he was asked of the Pharisees when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

21 Н икто не сможет сказать: «Вот, оно здесь» или «Оно там», потому что Божье Царство среди вас.

neither shall they say, Behold it here! or, Behold it there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

22 П отом Он сказал ученикам: – Придет такое время, когда вы захотите увидеть хотя бы один из дней Сына Человеческого, но не увидите.

And he said unto the disciples, The days will come when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

23 В ам будут говорить: «Вон, Он там» или «Вот, Он здесь», но вы не бегите смотреть.

And they shall say to you, Behold it here, or, Behold it there; do not go, nor follow them.

24 П отому что как блеск молнии освещает небо от края и до края, так будет и Сын Человеческий в День, когда Он придет.

For as the lightning, which shines from the region under heaven, shines in that which is under heaven; so also shall the Son of man be in his day.

25 Н о прежде Ему предстоит вытерпеть много страданий и быть отвергнутым этим поколением.

But first he must suffer many things and be rejected of this generation.

26 Н о как было в дни Ноя, так будет и в дни Сына Человеческого.

And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 Л юди ели, пили, женились и выходили замуж до того дня, когда Ной вошел в ковчег. Потом пришел потоп и всех их уничтожил.

They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 Т о же самое было и в дни Лота. Люди ели и пили, покупали и продавали, сажали и строили.

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;

29 Н о в день, когда Лот покинул Содом, с неба пролились дождем огонь и сера и всех их уничтожили.

but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

30 Т ак же будет и в День, когда явится Сын Человеческий.

Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31 В тот День, если кто-то окажется на крыше, а его вещи – в доме, пусть он не спускается вниз за вещами. И кто в поле, пусть уже не возвращается.

In that day, he who shall be upon the housetop and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away; and he that is in the field, let him likewise not turn back.

32 П омните жену Лота!

Remember Lot’s wife.

33 К то пытается сохранить свою жизнь, тот потеряет ее, и кто потеряет свою жизнь за Меня, тот сохранит ее.

Whosoever shall seek to save his soul shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose it shall cause it to live.

34 Г оворю вам, что в ту ночь двое будут на одной постели, и один будет взят, а другой оставлен.

I tell you in that night there shall be two men in one bed: the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Д ве женщины будут вместе молоть зерно, и одна будет взята, а другая оставлена.

Two women shall be grinding together: the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 И будут два человека в поле, и один будет взят, а другой оставлен.

Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 – Где, Господи? – спросили они. Иисус ответил: – Где труп, туда соберутся и стервятники.

And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
