1 Е зекии было двадцать пять лет, когда он стал царем, и правил он в Иерусалиме двадцать девять лет. Его мать звали Авия, она была дочерью Захарии.

¶ Hezekiah began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

2 О н делал то, что было правильным в глазах Господа, как и его предок Давид. Езекия очищает храм

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David, his father, had done.

3 В первый месяц, на первом году своего правления, он открыл двери Господнего дома и починил их.

In the first year of his reign, in the first month, he opened the doors of the house of the LORD and repaired them.

4 О н привел священников и левитов, собрал их на площади с восточной стороны

And he brought in the priests and the Levites and gathered them together into the east plaza

5 и сказал им: – Слушайте меня, левиты! Освятитесь сегодня сами и освятите дом Господа, Бога ваших отцов. Выбросите из святилища всякую скверну.

and said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and ye shall sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers and carry forth the filthiness out of the sanctuary.

6 Н аши отцы поступали беззаконно, делая зло в глазах Господа, нашего Бога, и оставили Его. Они отвернули свои лица от жилища Господа и повернулись к нему спиной.

For our fathers have rebelled and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, for they have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD and turned their backs.

7 О ни заперли двери притвора и погасили светильники. Они не возжигали благовоний и не приносили всесожжений в святилище Бога Израиля.

They even shut up the doors of the porch and put out the lamps and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the sanctuary unto the God of Israel.

8 З а это Господень гнев обрушился на Иудею и Иерусалим; Он отдал их на позор, на опустошение и на посмеяние, как вы видите своими глазами.

Therefore, the wrath of the LORD has come upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.

9 П оэтому наши отцы пали от меча, а наши сыновья, дочери и жены в плену.

For, behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.

10 Т еперь я хочу заключить завет с Господом, Богом Израиля, чтобы Его пылающий гнев на нас прекратился.

Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.

11 М ои сыновья, не будьте же беспечными, потому что Господь избрал вас служить Ему и возжигать благовония.

My sons, do not deceive yourselves, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should be his ministers and burn incense unto him.

12 И начали свое служение левиты: из потомков каафитов – Махаф, сын Амасая, и Иоил, сын Азарии; из потомков Мерари – Киш, сын Авдия, и Азария, сын Иегаллелела; из потомков Гершона – Иоах, сын Зиммы, и Еден, сын Иоаха;

¶ Then the Levites arose, Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel, the son of Azariah, of the sons of Kohath; and of the sons of Merari, Kish, the son of Abdi, and Azariah, the son of Jehalelel; and of the sons of Gershon; Joah, the son of Zimmah, and Eden, the son of Joah;

13 и з потомков Елицафана – Шимрий и Иеиел; из потомков Асафа – Захария и Маттания;

and of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri and Jeiel; and of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah and Mattaniah;

14 и з потомков Емана – Иехиел и Шимей; из потомков Идутуна – Шемая и Уззиил.

and of the sons of Heman; Jehiel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun; Shemaiah and Uzziel.

15 С обрав своих братьев и освятившись, они пришли очищать Господень дом, как, следуя словам Господа, повелел царь.

And they gathered their brethren and sanctified themselves and entered in, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.

16 С вященники прошли в святилище Господа, чтобы очистить его. Они вынесли во двор Господнего дома все нечистое, что нашли в доме Господа. Левиты взяли это и отнесли в долину Кедрон.

And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the Brook Kidron.

17 П риступив к освящению в первый день первого месяца, они подошли к притвору дома Господа в восьмой день того же месяца. Еще восемь дней они освящали сам Господень дом и закончили на шестнадцатый день первого месяца.

Now they began to sanctify on the first day of the first month, and on the eighth day of the month they came to the porch of the LORD; and they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they finished.

18 О ни пришли к царю Езекии и доложили: – Мы очистили весь Господень дом, жертвенник для всесожжений со всей его утварью и стол, на который кладут священный хлеб, со всей его утварью.

Then they went in to Hezekiah, the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD and the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and the showbread table with all its vessels.

19 В сю утварь, которую во время своего правления убрал неверный царь Ахаз, мы приготовили и освятили. Она сейчас перед Господним жертвенником. Освящение храма

Likewise we have prepared and sanctified all the vessels, which King Ahaz in his reign cast away in his transgression, and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.

20 Н а следующий день, ранним утром, царь Езекия собрал начальников города и отправился в дом Господа.

¶ Then Hezekiah, the king, rose early and gathered the rulers of the city and went up to the house of the LORD.

21 О ни привели семь быков, семь баранов, семь ягнят и семь козлов, чтобы принести их в жертву за грех за царскую семью, за святилище и за всю Иудею. Царь велел священникам, потомкам Аарона, принести их в жертву на жертвеннике Господа.

And they offered seven bullocks and seven rams and seven lambs and seven he goats, for the sin of the kingdom and of the sanctuary and of Judah. And he commanded the priests, the sons of Aaron, to offer them on the altar of the LORD.

22 Б ыков закололи, и священники, взяв крови, окропили ею жертвенник. Затем закололи баранов и окропили жертвенник их кровью. Затем закололи ягнят и окропили жертвенник их кровью.

So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood and sprinkled it on the altar; likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar; they also killed the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.

23 А козлов, которые были предназначены в жертву за грех, поставили перед царем и собранием, и они возложили на них руки.

And they brought forth the he goats of the sin before the king and the congregation, and they laid their hands upon them;

24 З атем священники закололи козлов и принесли их кровь на жертвеннике как жертву за грех, чтобы совершить отпущение за весь Израиль, потому что царь велел совершить всесожжение и принести жертву за грех за весь Израиль.

and the priests killed them, and they removed the sin with their blood upon the altar, to reconcile all Israel, for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the atonement for sin should be offered for all Israel.

25 Е зекия поставил левитов с тарелками, лирами и арфами в доме Господа, по установлению Давида, царского провидца Гада и пророка Нафана. Это установление было дано Господом через Его пророков.

And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad, the king’s seer, and of Nathan, the prophet, for that commandment was by the hand of the LORD, by the hand of his prophets.

26 Л евиты стояли наготове с музыкальными инструментами Давида, а священники – с трубами.

And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

27 Е зекия велел принести на жертвеннике всесожжение. Когда началось жертвоприношение, началось и пение Господу под голос труб и музыкальных инструментов Давида, царя Израиля.

Then Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets and with the instruments of David, king of Israel.

28 В се собрание совершало поклонение, певцы пели, а трубачи трубили. Так продолжалось, пока жертвоприношение не было завершено.

And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpets sounded; and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

29 К огда жертвы были принесены, царь и все, кто был с ним, преклонили колени и поклонились.

And when they had finished offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves and worshipped.

30 Ц арь Езекия со своими приближенными велел левитам славить Господа словами Давида и провидца Асафа. И они радостно пели хвалу, низко кланялись и поклонялись.

Moreover, Hezekiah, the king, and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph, the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed down and worshipped.

31 Е зекия сказал: – Итак, вы посвятили себя Господу. Приступайте, несите жертвы и благодарственные приношения в Господень дом. Собрание принесло жертвы и благодарственные приношения, а все, кто был к этому расположен, принесли и всесожжения.

Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and praises in the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and praises, and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.

32 Ж ертв всесожжения, которые принесло собрание, было общим счетом: семьдесят быков, сто баранов и двести ягнят – все это для всесожжения Господу.

And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was seventy bullocks, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs; all these were for the burnt offering of the LORD.

33 Д ругих священных жертв было: шестьсот голов крупного и три тысячи голов мелкого скота.

And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

34 Н о священников было слишком мало, чтобы освежевать все туши жертв всесожжения, и пока другие священники не освятились, их сородичи левиты помогали им, пока работа не была сделана, потому что левиты отнеслись к освящению добросовестнее, чем священники.

But the priests were too few so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings; therefore, their brethren, the Levites, helped them until the work was ended and until the other priests had sanctified themselves, for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

35 Ж ертв всесожжения и жира жертв примирения, с жертвенными возлияниями, которыми сопровождались всесожжения, было в изобилии. Так было восстановлено служение в Господнем доме.

And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.

36 Е зекия и весь народ радовались тому, что сделал для Своего народа Бог, ведь сделано это было так быстро.

And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people, for the thing was done suddenly.
