1 К ак соработники Бога, мы умоляем вас, чтобы принятая вами благодать Божья не была тщетна.

¶ We then, as workers together with him, exhort you also that ye have not received the grace of God in vain.

2 В едь Он говорит: «В благоприятное время Я услышал тебя и в день спасения Я помог тебе». Говорю вам, что именно сейчас благоприятное время, и сегодня – день спасения. Истинные служители Божьи

(For he saith, I have heard thee in an acceptable time, and in the day of saving health I have succoured thee; behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of saving health.)

3 М ы не хотим ни для кого быть камнем преткновения, чтобы никто не мог ни в чем упрекнуть наше служение.

Giving no offense in anything, that the ministry not be blamed,

4 М ы проявляем себя истинными служителями Божьими во всем: в великом терпении, в несчастьях, в нужде, в трудностях,

But in all things showing ourselves as the ministers of God in much patience, in tribulations, in necessities, in distresses,

5 к огда нас бьют, заключают в тюрьмы или когда мы противостоим разъяренной толпе, в тяжелом труде, в бессонных ночах и в голоде,

in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings,

6 в чистоте, в знании, в стойкости, в доброте, в Духе Святом и искренней любви,

in chastity, in knowledge, in meekness, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in unfeigned charity,

7 в слове истины, в Божьей силе; с оружием праведности в правой и левой руке,

in the word of truth, in the power of God through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

8 в славе и бесчестии, встречая как поношения, так и одобрительные отклики. Нас считают обманщиками, но мы верны;

through honour and dishonour, through evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet as men of the truth;

9 н ас считают безвестными, но нас знают все; нас считают умершими, но мы живы; нас наказывают, но мы не убиты;

as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, but, behold, we live; as chastened, but not killed;

10 н ас огорчают, но мы всегда радуемся; мы бедны, но многих обогащаем; у нас нет ничего, и в то же время мы владеем всем!

as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

11 К оринфяне! Мы вам говорили открыто обо всем. Мы проявляли к вам чистосердечную любовь.

¶ O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

12 М ы так любим вас, но вы не проявляете ответной любви к нам.

Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.

13 Я обращаюсь к вам, как к своим детям, так откройте же и вы в ответ ваши сердца! Повеление не объединяться с неверующими

Now for a recompense in the same (I speak as unto my children), be ye also enlarged.

14 Н е впрягайтесь под одно ярмо с неверующими. Что общего у праведности с грехом? Что общего у света с тьмой

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship does righteousness have with unrighteousness? and what communion does light have with darkness?

15 и ли у Христа с Велиаром? Что общего у верующего с неверующими,

And what concord does Christ have with Belial? or what part do the faithful have with the unfaithful?

16 и у храма Божьего с идолами? Ведь мы – храм живого Бога, так как Бог сказал о нас: «Я вселюсь в них и буду ходить среди них. Я буду их Богом, а они будут Моим народом».

And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 « Поэтому выйдите из их среды и отделитесь, – говорит Господь, – не прикасайтесь к нечистому, и Я приму вас».

Therefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing; and I will receive you

18 « Я буду вашим Отцом, а вы будете моими сынами и дочерями», – говорит Господь Вседержитель.

and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
