¶ These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

2 D ã, José, Benjamim, Naftali, Gade e Aser.

Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 O s filhos de Judá: Er, Onã e Selá; estes três lhe nasceram da filha de Suá, a cananéia. E Er, o primogênito de Judá, foi mau aos olhos do Senhor, que o matou:

The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD, and he slew him.

4 T amar, nora de Judá, lhe deu ã luz Pérez e Zerá. Ao todo os filhos de Judá foram cinco.

And Tamar, his daughter-in-law, gave birth unto him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

5 O s filhos de Perez: Hezrom e Hamul:

The sons of Pharez: Hezron and Hamul.

6 O s filhos de Zerá: Zinri, Etã, Hemã, Calcol e Dara; cinco ao todo.

And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara, five of them in all.

7 O s filhos de Carmi: Acar, o perturbador de Israel, que pecou no anátema.

And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the anathema.

8 D e Etã foi filho Azarias.

Azariah was the son of Ethan.

9 O s filhos que nasceram a Hezrom: Jerameel, Rão e Quelubai.

The sons that were born unto Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.

10 R ão foi pai de Aminadabe, e Aminadabe de Nasom, príncipe dos filhos de Judá;

And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;

11 N ason foi pai de Salmom, e Salmom de Boaz;

And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

12 B oaz foi pai de Obede, e Obede de Jessé;

And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

13 a Jessé nasceram Eliabe, seu primogênito, Abinadabe o segundo, Siméia o terceiro,

And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second and Shimma the third,

14 N etanel o quarto, Radai o quinto,

Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15 O zen o sexto e Davi o sétimo;

Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,

16 e foram suas irmãs Zeruia e Abigail. Os filhos de Zeruia foram: Abisai, Joabe e Asael, três.

whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah were three: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.

17 A bigail deu ã luz Amasa; o pai de Amasa foi Jeter, o ismaelita.

And Abigail gave birth to Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmeelite.

18 A Calebe, filho de Hezrom, nasceram filhos de Azuba, sua mulher, e de Jeriote; e os filhos dela foram estes: Jeser, Sobabe e Ardom.

¶ And Caleb, the son of Hezron, begat Jerioth of Azubah, his wife. And her sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

19 M orreu Azuba; e Calebe tomou para si Efrata, da qual lhe nasceu Hur.

And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took Ephrath as wife, who gave birth to Hur unto him.

20 H ur foi pai de îri, e îri de Bezaleel.

And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

21 E ntão Hezrom, tendo já sessenta anos, tomou por mulher a filha de Maquir, pai de Gileade; e conheceu-a, e ela lhe deu ã luz Segube.

And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir, the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old, and she gave birth to Segub unto him.

22 S egube foi pai de Jair, o qual veio a ter vinte e três cidades na terra de Gileade.

And Segub begat Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

23 M as Gesur e Arã tomaram deles Havote-Jair, e Quenate e suas aldeias, sessenta cidades. Todos estes foram filhos de Maquir, pai de Gileade.

And Geshur and Aram took the cities of Jair from them, with Kenath and its towns, even sixty cities. All these were of the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.

24 D epois da morte de Hezrom, em Calebe de Efrata, Abia, mulher de Hezrom, lhe deu Asur, pai de Tecoa.

And after Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah, Hezron’s wife, gave birth to Ashur unto him, the father of Tekoa.

25 O s filhos de Jerameel, primogênito de Jezrom, foram: Rão, o primogênito, Buna, Orem, Ozem e Aías.

And the sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron, were Ram, the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

26 J erameel teve outra mulher, cujo nome era Atara, a qual foi mãe de Onã.

Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27 O s filhos de Rão, primogênito de Jerameel, foram: Maaz, Jamim e Equer.

And the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

28 O s filhos de Onã, foram: Samai e Jada; e os filhos de Samai: Nadabe e Abisur.

And the sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai, Nadab, and Abishur.

29 O nome da mulher de Abisur era Abiail, que lhe deu ã luz Abã e Molide.

And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she gave birth to Ahban and Molid unto him.

30 O s filhos de Nadabe: Selede e Apaim; e Selede morreu sem filhos.

And the sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. But Seled died without children.

31 O filho de Apaim: Isi; o filho de Isi: Sesã; o filho de Sesã: Alai.

And Ishi was the son of Appaim. And Sheshan, the son of Ishi; and the son of Sheshan, Ahlai.

32 O s filhos de Jada, irmão de Samai: Jeter e Jônatas; e Jeter morreu sem filhos.

And the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.

33 O s filhos de Jônatas: Pelete e Zaza. Esses foram os filhos de Jerameel.

And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34 S esã não teve filhos, mas filhas. E tinha Sesã um servo egípcio, cujo nome era Jará:

Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a slave, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

35 D eu, pois, Sesã sua filha por mulher a Jará, seu servo; e ela lhe deu ã luz Atai.

And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha, his slave, to wife; and she bore him Attai.

36 A tai foi pai de Natã, Natã de Zabade,

And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

37 Z abade de Eflal, Eflal de Obede,

and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

38 O bede de Jeú, Jeú de Azarias,

and Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

39 A zarias de Helez, Helez de Eleasá,

and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

40 E leasá de Sismai, Sismai de Salum,

and Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

41 S alum de Jecamias, e Jecamias de Elisama.

and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

42 O s filhos de Calebe, irmão de Jerameel: Messa, seu primogênito, que foi o pai de Zife, e os filhos de Maressa, pai de Hebrom.

Now the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and of his other sons, Mareshah, the father of Hebron.

43 O s filhos de Hebrom: Corá, Tapua, Requem e Sema.

And the sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

44 S ema foi pai de Raão, pai de Jorqueão; e Requem foi pai de Samai.

And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam; and Rekem begat Shammai.

45 O filho de Samai foi Maom; e Maom foi pai de Bete-Zur.

And the son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Bethzur.

46 E fá, a concubina de Calebe, teve Harã, Moza e Gazez; e Harã foi pai de Gazez.

And Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, gave birth to Haran, Moza, and Gazez unto him, and Haran begat Gazez.

47 O s filhos de Jadai: Regem, Jotão, Gesã, Pelete, Efá e Saafe.

And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

48 M aacá, concubina de Calebe, deu ã luz Seber e Tiraná.

Maachah, Caleb’s concubine, gave birth to Sheber and Tirhanah unto him.

49 D eu ã luz também Saafe, pai de Madmana, e Seva, pai de Macbena e de Gibeá; e a filha de Calebe foi Acsa.

She also gave birth to Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, Sheva, the father of Machbenah and father of Gibea. And Achsah was the daughter of Caleb.

50 E stes foram os filhos de Calebe, filho de Hur, o primogênito de Efrata: Sobal, pai de Quiriate-Jearim,

These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah: Shobal, the father of Kirjathjearim,

51 S alma, pai de Belém, e Harefe, pai de Bete-Gader.

Salma, the father of Bethlehem, Hareph, the father of Bethgader.

52 O s filhos de Sobal, pai de Quiriate-Jearim, foram: Haroé e metade dos menuotes.

And the sons of Shobal, the father of Kirjathjearim, who was lord of half of Manaheth.

53 A s famílias de Quiriate-Jearim: os itreus, os puteus, os sumateus e os misraeus; destes saíram os zorateus e os estaloeus.

And the families of Kirjathjearim: the Ithrites and the Puhites and the Shumathites and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites and the Eshtaulites.

54 O s filhos de Salma: Belém, os netofatitas, Atarote-Bete-Joabe, metade dos manaatitas e os zoritas.

The sons of Salma: Bethlehem and the Netophathites, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.

55 A s famílias dos escribas que habitavam em Jabes: os tiratitas, os simeatitas e os sucatitas; estes são os queneus que descenderam de Hamate, pai da casa de Recabe.

And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
