1 E STOS son los hijos de Israel: Rubén, Simeón, Leví, Judá, Issachâr, Zabulón,

¶ These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

2 D an, José, Benjamín, Nephtalí, Gad, y Aser.

Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 L os hijos de Judá: Er, Onán, y Sela. Estos tres le nacieron de la hija de Sua, Cananea. Y Er, primogénito de Judá, fué malo delante de Jehová; y matólo.

The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua, the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD, and he slew him.

4 Y Thamar su nuera le parió á Phares y á Zara. Todos los hijos de Judá fueron cinco.

And Tamar, his daughter-in-law, gave birth unto him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

5 L os hijos de Phares: Hesrón y Hamul.

The sons of Pharez: Hezron and Hamul.

6 Y los hijos de Zara: Zimri, Ethán, Hemán, y Calcol, y Darda; en todos cinco.

And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara, five of them in all.

7 H ijo de Chârmi fué Achâr, el que alborotó á Israel, porque prevaricó en el anatema.

And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the anathema.

8 A zaría fué hijo de Ethán.

Azariah was the son of Ethan.

9 L os hijos que nacieron á Hesrón: Jerameel, Ram, y Chêlubai.

The sons that were born unto Hezron: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.

10 Y Ram engendró á Aminadab; y Aminadab engendró á Nahasón, príncipe de los hijos de Judá;

And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;

11 Y Nahasón engendró á Salma, y Salma engendró á Booz;

And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

12 Y Booz engendró á Obed, y Obed engendró á Isaí;

And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

13 E Isaí engendró á Eliab, su primogénito, y el segundo Abinadab, y Sima el tercero;

And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second and Shimma the third,

14 E l cuarto Nathanael, el quinto Radai;

Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

15 E l sexto Osem, el séptimo David:

Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,

16 D e los cuales Sarvia y Abigail fueron hermanas. Los hijos de Sarvia fueron tres: Abisai, Joab, y Asael.

whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. The sons of Zeruiah were three: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.

17 A bigail engendró á Amasa, cuyo padre fué Jether Ismaelita.

And Abigail gave birth to Amasa, whose father was Jether the Ishmeelite.

18 C aleb hijo de Hesrón engendró á Jerioth de su mujer Azuba. Y los hijos de ella fueron Jeser, Sobad, y Ardón.

¶ And Caleb, the son of Hezron, begat Jerioth of Azubah, his wife. And her sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

19 Y muerta Azuba, tomó Caleb por mujer á Ephrata, la cual le parió á Hur.

And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took Ephrath as wife, who gave birth to Hur unto him.

20 Y Hur engendró á Uri, y Uri engendró á Bezaleel.

And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

21 D espués entró Hesrón á la hija de Machîr padre de Galaad, la cual tomó siendo él de sesenta años, y ella le parió á Segub.

And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir, the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was sixty years old, and she gave birth to Segub unto him.

22 Y Segub engendró á Jair, el cual tuvo veintitrés ciudades en la tierra de Galaad.

And Segub begat Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.

23 Y Gesur y Aram tomaron las ciudades de Jair de ellos, y á Cenath con sus aldeas, sesenta lugares. Todos estos fueron de los hijos de Machîr padre de Galaad.

And Geshur and Aram took the cities of Jair from them, with Kenath and its towns, even sixty cities. All these were of the sons of Machir, the father of Gilead.

24 Y muerto Hesrón en Caleb de Ephrata, Abia mujer de Hesrón le parió á Ashur padre de Tecoa.

And after Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah, Hezron’s wife, gave birth to Ashur unto him, the father of Tekoa.

25 Y los hijos de Jerameel primogénito de Hesrón fueron Ram su primogénito, Buna, Orem, Osem, y Achîa.

And the sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron, were Ram, the firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

26 Y tuvo Jerameel otra mujer llamada Atara, que fué madre de Onam.

Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27 Y los hijos de Ram primogénito de Jerameel fueron Maas, Jamín, y Acar.

And the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

28 Y los hijos de Onam fueron Sammai, y Jada. Los hijos de Sammai: Nadab, y Abisur.

And the sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. The sons of Shammai, Nadab, and Abishur.

29 Y el nombre de la mujer de Abisur fué Abihail, la cual le parió á Abán, y á Molib.

And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she gave birth to Ahban and Molid unto him.

30 Y los hijos de Nadab: Seled y Aphaim. Y Seled murió sin hijos.

And the sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim. But Seled died without children.

31 E Isi fué hijo fué hijo de Aphaim; y Sesam, hijo de Isi; é hijo de Sesam, Alai.

And Ishi was the son of Appaim. And Sheshan, the son of Ishi; and the son of Sheshan, Ahlai.

32 L os hijos de Jada hermano de Simmai: Jether y Jonathán. Y murió Jether sin hijos.

And the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.

33 Y los hijos de Jonathán: Peleth, y Zaza. Estos fueron los hijos de Jerameel.

And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34 Y Sesán no tuvo hijos, sino hijas.

Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a slave, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

35 Y tuvo Sesán un siervo Egipcio, llamado Jarha, al cual dió Sesán por mujer á su hija; y ella le parió á Athai.

And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha, his slave, to wife; and she bore him Attai.

36 Y Athai engendró á Nathán, y Nathán engendró á Zabad:

And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

37 Y Zabad engendró á Ephlal, y Ephlal engendró á Obed;

and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

38 Y Obed engendró á Jehú, y Jehú engendró á Azarías;

and Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

39 Y Azarías engendró á Heles, Heles engedró á Elasa;

and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

40 E lasa engendró á Sismai, y Sismai engendró á Sallum;

and Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

41 Y Sallum engendró á Jecamía, y Jecamía engendró á Elisama.

and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

42 L os hijos de Caleb hermano de Jerameel fueron Mesa su primogénito, que fué el padre de Ziph; y los hijos de Maresa padre de Hebrón.

Now the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and of his other sons, Mareshah, the father of Hebron.

43 Y los hijos de Hebrón: Core, y Thaphua, y Recem, y Sema.

And the sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

44 Y Sema engendró á Raham, padre de Jorcaam; y Recem engendró á Sammai.

And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam; and Rekem begat Shammai.

45 M aón fué hijo de Sammai, y Maón padre de Beth-zur.

And the son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Bethzur.

46 Y Epha, concubina de Caleb, le parió á Harán, y á Mosa, y á Gazez. Y Harán engendró á Gazez.

And Ephah, Caleb’s concubine, gave birth to Haran, Moza, and Gazez unto him, and Haran begat Gazez.

47 Y los hijos de Joddai: Regem, Jotham, Gesán, Pelet, Epho, y Saaph.

And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

48 M aachâ, concubina de Caleb, le parió á Sebet, y á Thirana.

Maachah, Caleb’s concubine, gave birth to Sheber and Tirhanah unto him.

49 Y también le parió á Saaph padre de Madmannah, y á Seva padre de Macbena, y padre de Ghiba. Y Achsa fué hija de Caleb.

She also gave birth to Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, Sheva, the father of Machbenah and father of Gibea. And Achsah was the daughter of Caleb.

50 E stos fueron los hijos de Caleb, hijo de Hur, primogénito de Ephrata: Sobal, padre de Chîriath-jearim;

These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah: Shobal, the father of Kirjathjearim,

51 S alma, padre de Beth-lehem; Hareph, padre de Beth-gader.

Salma, the father of Bethlehem, Hareph, the father of Bethgader.

52 Y los hijos de Sobal padre de Chîriath-jearim fueron Haroeh, la mitad de los Manahethitas.

And the sons of Shobal, the father of Kirjathjearim, who was lord of half of Manaheth.

53 Y las familias de Chîriath-jearim fueron los Ithreos, y los Phuteos, y los Samatheos, y los Misraiteos; de los cuales salieron los Soratitas, y los Estaolitas.

And the families of Kirjathjearim: the Ithrites and the Puhites and the Shumathites and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites and the Eshtaulites.

54 L os hijos de Salma: Beth-lehem, y los Nethophatitas, los cuales son las coronas de la casa de Joab, y de la mitad de los Manahethitas, los Soraitas.

The sons of Salma: Bethlehem and the Netophathites, the crowns of the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.

55 Y las familias de los escribas, que moraban en Jabes, fueron los Thiratheos, Simatheos, Sucatheos; los cuales son los Cineos que vinieron de Hamath, padre de la casa de Rechâb.

And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
