1 S almo de Asaph. EL Dios de dioses, Jehová, ha hablado, Y convocado la tierra desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone.

¶ The God of gods, even the LORD, has spoken and convocated the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

2 D e Sión, perfección de hermosura, Ha Dios resplandecido.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined forth.

3 V endrá nuestro Dios, y no callará: Fuego consumirá delante de él, Y en derredor suyo habrá tempestad grande.

Our God shall come and shall not keep silence; a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

4 C onvocará á los cielos de arriba, Y á la tierra, para juzgar á su pueblo.

He shall convocate the heavens of above, and the earth, that he may judge his people.

5 J untadme mis santos; Los que hicieron conmigo pacto con sacrificio.

Gather my merciful ones together unto me, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

6 Y denunciarán los cielos su justicia; Porque Dios es el juez. (Selah.)

And the heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is the judge. Selah.

7 O ye, pueblo mío, y hablaré: Escucha, Israel, y testificaré contra ti: Yo soy Dios, el Dios tuyo.

¶ Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee; I am God, even thy God.

8 N o te reprenderé sobre tus sacrificios, Ni por tus holocaustos, que delante de mí están siempre.

I will not reprove thee regarding thy sacrifices; thy burnt offerings are continually before me.

9 N o tomaré de tu casa becerros, Ni machos cabríos de tus apriscos.

I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

10 P orque mía es toda bestia del bosque, Y los millares de animales en los collados.

For every beast of the forest is mine and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

11 C onozco todas las aves de los montes, Y en mi poder están las fieras del campo.

I know all the fowls of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are with me.

12 S i yo tuviese hambre, no te lo diría á ti: Porque mío es el mundo y su plenitud.

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is mine and the fullness thereof.

13 ¿ Tengo de comer yo carne de toros, O de beber sangre de machos cabríos?

Must I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

14 S acrifica á Dios alabanza, Y paga tus votos al Altísimo.

Sacrifice praise unto God and pay thy vows unto the most High

15 E invócame en el día de la angustia: Te libraré, y tú me honrarás.

and call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

16 P ero al malo dijo Dios: ¿Qué tienes tú que enarrar mis leyes, Y que tomar mi pacto en tu boca,

¶ But unto the wicked God saith, What part hast thou to declare my statutes or that thou should take my covenant in thy mouth?

17 P ues que tú aborreces el castigo, Y echas á tu espalda mis palabras?

Seeing thou dost hate chastening and dost cast my words behind thee.

18 S i veías al ladrón, tú corrías con él; Y con los adúlteros era tu parte.

When thou didst see a thief, then thou didst consent with him and hast been partaker with adulterers.

19 T u boca metías en mal, Y tu lengua componía engaño.

Thou didst give thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frames deceit.

20 T omabas asiento, y hablabas contra tu hermano: Contra el hijo de tu madre ponías infamia.

Thou didst sit and speak against thy brother; thou didst slander thine own mother’s son.

21 E stas cosas hiciste, y yo he callado: Pensabas que de cierto sería yo como tú: Yo te argüiré, y pondré las delante de tus ojos.

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou didst think that I was altogether such a one as thyself, but I will reprove thee and set them in order before thine eyes.

22 E ntended ahora esto, los que os olvidáis de Dios; No sea que arrebate, sin que nadie libre.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I take you away, and there be none to deliver.

23 E l que sacrifica alabanza me honrará: Y al que ordenare su camino, Le mostraré la salud de Dios.

Whosoever sacrifices praise glorifies me; and to him that orders his ways aright I will show the salvation of God.
