¶ His foundation is in mountains of holiness.

2 A ma Jehová las puertas de Sión Más que todas las moradas de Jacob.

The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 C osas ilustres son dichas de ti, Ciudad de Dios. (Selah.)

Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

4 Y o me acordaré de Rahab y de Babilonia entre los que me conocen: He aquí Palestina, y Tiro, con Etiopía: Este nació allá.

¶ I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to those that know me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.

5 Y de Sión se dirá: Este y aquél han nacido en ella; Y fortificarála el mismo Altísimo.

And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man were born in her; and the highest himself shall establish her.

6 J ehová contará cuando se escribieren los pueblos: Este nació allí. (Selah.)

The LORD shall count when he writes up the peoples that this one was born there. Selah.

7 Y cantores y tañedores en ella dirán: Todas mis fuentes estarán en ti.

And singers and players on instruments in her shall say: all my springs are in thee.
