1 B y sons of Korah. -- A Psalm, a song. His foundation in holy mountains.

¶ His foundation is in mountains of holiness.

2 J ehovah is loving the gates of Zion Above all the tabernacles of Jacob.

The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 H onourable things are spoken in Thee, O city of God. Selah.

Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

4 I mention Rahab and Babel to those knowing Me, Lo, Philistia, and Tyre, with Cush! This was born there.

¶ I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to those that know me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.

5 A nd of Zion it is said: Each one was born in her, And He, the Most High, doth establish her.

And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man were born in her; and the highest himself shall establish her.

6 J ehovah doth recount in the describing of the peoples, `This was born there.' Selah.

The LORD shall count when he writes up the peoples that this one was born there. Selah.

7 S ingers also as players on instruments, All my fountains in Thee!

And singers and players on instruments in her shall say: all my springs are in thee.
