1 O ra, os príncipes do povo habitaram em Jerusalém; e o restante do povo lançou sortes, para atirar um de cada dez que habitasse na santa cidade de Jerusalém, ficando nove nas outras cidades.

¶ And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem; but the rest of the people cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city and nine parts to dwell in the other cities.

2 E o povo bendisse todos os homens que voluntariamente se ofereceram para habitar em Jerusalém.

And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.

3 E stes, pois, são os chefes da província que habitaram em Jerusalém; porém nas cidades de Judá habitou cada um na sua possessão, nas suas cidades, a saber, Israel, os sacerdotes, os levitas, os netinins e os filhos dos servos de Salomão.

Now these are the heads of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem; but in the cities of Judah each one dwelt in his possession in their cities, of Israel, of the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinims, and of the sons of Solomon’s slaves.

4 E habitaram em Jerusalém alguns dos filhos de Judá e dos filhos de Benjamim. Dos filhos de Judá: Ataías, filho de Uzias, filho de Zacarias, filho de Amarias, filho de Sefatias, filho de Maalelel, dos filhos de Pérez;

And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the sons of Judah and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah, the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez;

5 e Maaséias, filho de Baruque, filho de Col-Hoze, filho de Hazaías, filho de Adaías, filho de Joiaribe, filho de Zacarias, filho de Silôni.

and Maaseiah, the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.

6 T odos os filhos de Pérez que habitaram em Jerusalém foram quatrocentos e sessenta e oito homens valentes.

All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred and sixty-eight valiant men.

7 S ão estes os filhos de Benjamim: Salu, filho de Mesulão, filho de Joede, filho de Pedaías, filho de Colaías, filho de Maaséias, filho de Itiel, filho de Jesaías.

And these are the sons of Benjamin: Sallu, the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.

And after him Gabbai and Sallai, nine hundred and twenty-eight.

9 J oel, filho de Zicri, superintendente sobre eles; e Judá, filho de Senua, o segundo sobre a cidade.

And Joel, the son of Zichri, was their overseer; and Judah, the son of Senuah, was second over the city.

10 D os sacerdotes: Jedaías, filho de Joiaribe, Jaquim,

Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin.

11 S eraías, filho de Hilquias, filho de Mesulão, filho de Zadoque, filho de Meraiote, filho de Altube, príncipe sobre a casa de Deus;

Seraiah, the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, prince of the house of God,

12 e seus irmãos que faziam a obra da casa, oitocentos e vinte e dois; e Adaías, filho de Jeroão, filho de Pelalias, filho de Anzi, filho de Zacarias, filha de Pasur, filho de Malquias,

and their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred and twenty-two; and Adaiah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,

13 e seus irmãos, cabeças de casas paternas, duzentos e quarenta e dois; e Amassai, filho de Azarel, filho de Aazai, filho de Mesilemote, filho de Imer,

and his brethren, princes of families, two hundred and forty-two; and Amashai, the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,

14 e os irmãos deles, homens valentes, cento e vinte e oito; e o superintendente sobre eles era Zabdiel, filho de Hagedolim.

and their brethren, mighty men of valour, one hundred and twenty-eight; and their captain was Zabdiel, the son of Gedolim.

15 D os levitas: Semaías, filho de Hassube, filho de Azricão, filho de Hasabias, filho de Buni;

And of the Levites: Shemaiah, the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;

16 S abetai e Jozabade, dos cabeças dos levitas, presidiam o serviço externo da casa de Deus;

and Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the principals of the Levites, overseers of the exterior work of the house of God.

17 M atanias, filho de Mica, filho de Zabdi, filho de Asafe, o dirigente que iniciava as ações de graças na oração, e Baquebuquias, o segundo entre seus irmãos; depois Abda, filho de Samua, filho de Galal, filho de Jedútun.

And Mattaniah, the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer; and Bakbukiah, the second among his brethren, and Abda, the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

18 T odos os levitas na santa cidade foram duzentos e oitenta e quatro.

All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred and eighty-four.

19 T ambém os porteiros, Acube, Talmom, e seus irmãos, os guardas das portas, foram cento e sessenta e dois.

Moreover, the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren, guards at the gates, were one hundred and seventy-two.

20 O resto de Israel e dos sacerdotes e levitas, habitou em todas as cidades de Judá, cada um na sua herança.

¶ And the residue of Israel, of the priests and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, each one in his inheritance.

21 O s netinins, porém, habitaram em Ofel; e Ziá e Gispa presidiram sobre eles.

And the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.

22 O superintendente dos levitas em Jerusalém era Uzi, filho de Bani, filho de Hasabias, filho de Matanias, filho de Mica, dos filhos de Asafe, os cantores; ele estava encarregado do serviço da casa de Deus.

The overseer of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi, the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha of singers, the sons of Asaph, over the work of the house of God.

23 P ois havia uma ordem da parte do rei acerca deles, e uma norma para os cantores, estabelecendo o dever de cada dia.

For there was a commandment of the king concerning them and a determination of the singers for each day.

24 E Petaías, filho de Mesezabel, dos filhos de Zerá, filho de Judá, estava

And Pethahiah, the son of Meshezabeel, of the sons of Zerah, the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.

And regarding the villages with their lands, some of the sons of Judah dwelt in Kirjatharba and in its villages and in Dibon and in its villages and in Jekabzeel and in its villages,

and in Jeshua and in Moladah and in Bethphelet

27 E m Hazar-Sual, em Berseba e seus arrabaldes,

and in Hazarshual and in Beersheba and in its villages

28 e m Ziclague, em Mecona e seus arrabaldes,

and in Ziklag and in Mekonah and in its villages,

29 e m En-Rimom, em Zorá, em Jarmute,

and in Enrimmon and in Zareah and in Jarmuth,

30 e m Zanoa, em Adulão e suas aldeias, em Laquis e seus campos, e em Azeca e seus arrabaldes. Acamparam-se, pois, desde Berseba até o vale do Hinom.

Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, in Lachish and its lands, in Azekah and in its villages. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

31 O s filhos de Benjamim também habitaram desde Geba em diante, em Micmás e Aíja, em Betel e seus arrabaldes,

The sons of Benjamin from Geba dwelt in Michmash and Aija and Bethel and in their villages

32 e m Anatote, em Nobe, em Ananias,

and in Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

33 e m Hazor, em Ramá, em Gitaim,

Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34 e m Hadide, em Zeboim, em Nebalate,

Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

35 e m Lode, e em Ono, vale dos artífices.

Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

36 E dos levitas que habitavam em Judá, algumas turmas foram unidas a Benjamim.

And of the Levites there were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.
