1 D isse mais o Senhor a Moisés:

¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

2 F aze-te duas trombetas de prata; de obra batida as farás, e elas te servirão para convocares a congregação, e para ordenares a partida dos arraiais.

Make thee two trumpets of silver; of beaten work shalt thou make them that thou may use them for the convocation of the congregation and for the moving of the camp.

3 Q uando se tocarem as trombetas, toda a congregação se ajuntará a ti ã porta da tenda da revelação.

And when they shall blow them, all the congregation shall join themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

4 M as quando se tocar uma só, a ti se congregarão os príncipes, os cabeças dos milhares de Israel.

But when they blow only one, then the princes, who are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

5 Q uando se tocar retinindo, partirão os arraiais que estão acampados da banda do oriente.

When ye blow an alarm, then ye shall move the camp of those that are lodged towards the east.

6 M as quando se tocar retinindo, pela segunda, vez, partirão os arraiais que estão acampados da banda do sul; para as partidas dos arraiais se tocará retinindo.

And when ye blow an alarm the second time, then ye shall move the camp of those that are lodged on the side of the Negev; they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

7 M as quando se houver de reunir a congregação, tocar-se-á sem retinir:

But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

8 O s filhos de Arão, sacerdotes, tocarão as trombetas; e isto vos será por estatuto perpétuo nas vossas gerações.

And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and you shall have them as a perpetual statute throughout your generations.

9 O ra, quando na vossa terra sairdes ã guerra contra o inimigo que vos estiver oprimindo, fareis retinir as trombetas; e perante o Senhor vosso Deus sereis tidos em memória, e sereis salvos dos vossos inimigos.

And when ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

10 S emelhantemente, no dia da vossa alegria, nas vossas festas fixas, e nos princípios dos vossos meses, tocareis as trombetas sobre os vossos holocaustos, e sobre os sacrifícios de vossas ofertas pacíficas; e eles vos serão por memorial perante vosso Deus. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

Also in the day of your gladness and in your solemn days and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace, that they may be to you for a memorial before your God; I AM your God.

11 O ra, aconteceu, no segundo ano, no segundo mês, aos vinte do mês, que a nuvem se alçou de sobre o tabernáculo da congregação.

¶ And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

12 P artiram, pois, os filhos de Israel do deserto de Sinai para as suas jornadas; e a nuvem parou, no deserto de Parã.

And the sons of Israel moved out of the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

13 A ssim iniciaram a primeira caminhada, ã ordem do Senhor por intermédio de Moisés:

And they moved the first time according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

14 p artiu primeiramente o estandarte do arraial dos filhos de Judá segundo os seus exércitos; sobre o seu exército estava Nasom, filho de Aminadabe;

In the first place went the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah according to their armies, and over his host was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab.

15 s obre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Issacar, Netanel, filho de Zuar;

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar was Nethaneel, the son of Zuar.

16 e sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Zebulom, Eliabe, filho de Helom.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun was Eliab, the son of Helon.

17 E ntão o tabernáculo foi desarmado, e os filhos de Gérson e os filhos de Merári partiram, levando o tabernáculo.

And the tabernacle was already taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.

18 D epois partiu o estandarte do arraial de Rúben segundo os seus exércitos; sobre o seu exército estava Elizur, filho de Sedeur;

Then the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies, and over his host was Elizur, the son of Shedeur.

19 s obre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Simeão, Selumiel, filho de Zurisadai;

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon was Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai.

20 e sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Gade, Eliasafe, filho de Deuel.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad was Eliasaph, the son of Deuel.

21 E ntão partiram os coatitas, levando o santuário; e os outros erigiam o tabernáculo, enquanto estes vinham.

Then the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary, and while they were coming, the others set up the tabernacle.

22 D epois partiu o estandarte do arraial dos filhos de Efraim segundo os seus exércitos; sobre o seu exército estava Elisama, filho de Amiúde;

After them the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim set forward according to their armies, and over his host was Elishama, the son of Ammihud.

23 s obre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Manassés, Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur;

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh was Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur.

24 e sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Benjamim, Abidã, filho de Gideôni.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin was Abidan, the son of Gideoni.

25 E ntão partiu o estandarte do arraial dos filhos de Dã, que era a retaguarda de todos os arraiais, segundo os seus exércitos; sobre o seu exército estava Aiezer, filho de Amisadai;

Then the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan set forward according to their armies, gathering together all the camps, and over his host was Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai.

26 s obre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Aser, Pagiel, filho de Ocrã;

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher was Pagiel, the son of Ocran.

27 e sobre o exército da tribo dos filhos de Naftali, Airá, filho de Enã.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali was Ahira, the son of Enan.

28 T al era a ordem de partida dos filhos de Israel segundo os seus exércitos, quando partiam.

Thus were the journeyings of the sons of Israel according to their armies when they set forward.

29 D isse então Moisés a Hobabe, filho de Reuel, o midianita, sogro de Moisés: Nós caminhamos para aquele lugar de que o Senhor disse: Vo-lo darei. Vai conosco, e te faremos bem; porque o Senhor falou bem acerca de Israel.

¶ Then Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it to you. Come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.

30 R espondeu ele: Não irei; antes irei ã minha terra e ã minha parentela.

And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to my own land and to my kindred.

31 T ornou-lhe Moisés: Ora, não nos deixes, porquanto sabes onde devamos acampar no deserto; de olhos nos serviras.

And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; for thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou shalt be to us instead of eyes.

32 S e, pois, vieres conosco, o bem que o Senhor nos fizer, também nós faremos a ti.

And it shall be, if thou go with us, that when we come into the goodness that the LORD shall do unto us, that we will do thee good.

33 A ssim partiram do monte do Senhor caminho de três dias; e a arca do pacto do Senhor ia adiante deles, para lhes buscar lugar de descanso.

Thus they departed from the mount of the LORD three days’ journey, and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days’ journey, searching out a resting place for them.

34 E a nuvem do Senhor ia sobre eles de dia, quando partiam do arraial.

And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, from when they went out of the camp.

35 Q uando, pois, a arca partia, dizia Moisés: Levanta-te, Senhor, e dissipados sejam os teus inimigos, e fujam diante de ti os que te odeiam.

And it came to pass, when the ark was moved, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered, and let those that hate thee flee before thee.

36 E , quando ela pousava, dizia: Volta, ó Senhor, para os muitos milhares de Israel.

And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the ten thousands of Israel.
