1 O Senhor te ouça no dia da angústia; o nome do Deus de Jacó te proteja.

¶ Let the LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; let the name of the God of Jacob lift thee up

2 E nvie-te socorro do seu santuário, e te sustenha de Sião.

and send thee help from the sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion

3 L embre-se de todas as tuas ofertas, e aceite os teus holocaustos.

and remember all thy offerings and reduce thy burnt sacrifice to the ashes of burnt fat, Selah.

4 C onceda-te conforme o desejo do teu coração, e cumpra todo o teu desígnio.

Grant thee according to thine heart and fulfil all thy counsel.

5 N ós nos alegraremos pela tua salvação, e em nome do nosso Deus arvoraremos pendões; satisfaça o Senhor todas as tuas petições.

We will rejoice in thy saving health, and in the name of our God we will be standard-bearers: let the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

6 A gora sei que o Senhor salva o seu ungido; ele lhe responderá lá do seu santo céu, com a força salvadora da sua destra.

¶ Now know I that the LORD has kept his anointed; he will hear him from the heavens of his holiness with the saving valour of his right hand.

7 U ns confiam em carros e outros em cavalos, mas nós faremos menção do nome do Senhor nosso Deus.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

8 U ns encurvam-se e caem, mas nós nos erguemos e ficamos de pé.

They are brought down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright.

9 S alva-nos, Senhor; ouça-nos o Rei quando clamarmos.

The LORD saves the king; let him hear us on the day when we call.
