1 ( По слав. 19.) За първия певец. Давидов псалом. Господ да те послуша в скръбен ден; името на Бога Яковов да те постави нависоко!

¶ Let the LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; let the name of the God of Jacob lift thee up

2 Д а ти прати помощ от светилището и да те подкрепи от Сион!

and send thee help from the sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion

3 Д а си спомни всички твои приноси и да приеме всеизгарянето ти! (Села.)

and remember all thy offerings and reduce thy burnt sacrifice to the ashes of burnt fat, Selah.

4 Д а ти даде според желанието на сърцето ти и да изпълни всяко твое намерение!

Grant thee according to thine heart and fulfil all thy counsel.

5 В спасението Ти ще се зарадваме и в името на нашия Бог ще издигнем знамена. Господ да изпълни всички твои прошения!

We will rejoice in thy saving health, and in the name of our God we will be standard-bearers: let the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

6 С ега зная, че Господ избавя помазаника Си; ще го послуша от святото Си небе със спасителната сила на десницата Си.

¶ Now know I that the LORD has kept his anointed; he will hear him from the heavens of his holiness with the saving valour of his right hand.

7 Е дни споменават колесници, а други коне; но ние ще споменем името на Господа, нашия Бог.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

8 Т е се спънаха и паднаха; а ние станахме и се изправихме.

They are brought down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright.

9 Г осподи, пази ни! Нека ни послуша Царят, когато Го призовем.

The LORD saves the king; let him hear us on the day when we call.
