¶ A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet, because of all the ignorance.

2 Г осподи, чух вестта за Теб и се уплаших. Господи, оживявай делото Си сред годините, сред годините го изявявай. В гнева Си помни милостта.

O LORD, I have heard thy word and was afraid; O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the times; in the midst of the times make it known; in wrath remember mercy.

3 Б ог дойде от Теман и Святият - от хълма Фаран. (Села.) Славата Му покри небето и земята беше пълна с хваление към Него.

¶ God shall come from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was filled with his praise.

4 С иянието Му беше като светлината; лъчи се пръскаха от страната Му; и там беше скривалището на силата Му.

And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand; and there was hidden his strength.

5 П ред Него вървеше морът и мълнии излизаха под краката Му.

Before his face went mortality, and burning coals went forth from his feet.

6 Т ой застана и разклати земята, погледна и направи народите да треперят; и вечните планини се разпаднаха, безкрайните гори се наведоха; постъпките Му бяха, както в древността.

He stood and measured the earth; he beheld and drove out the Gentiles; and the ancient mountains crumbled, the ancient hills; the ways of the world bowed unto him.

7 В идях шатрите на Етиопия наскърбени; поклатиха се завесите на Мадиамската земя.

I saw the tents of Cushan as nothing, and the curtains of the land of Midian trembled.

8 Н егодува̀ ли Господ против реките? Беше ли гневът Ти против реките, беше ли гневът Ти против морето, че си възседнал на конете Си и на колесниците Си, за да избавяш?

Oh LORD, wast thou displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath even against the sea when thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of saving health?

9 Л ъкът Ти беше изваден от покривката си, както Ти с клетва извести на племената. (Села.) Ти проряза земята с реки.

Thy bow was entirely uncovered, and the oaths unto the tribes, eternal word, when thou didst divide the earth with rivers.

10 В идяха Те планините и се уплашиха; водният потоп нападна; бездната издаде гласа си, вдигна ръцете си нависоко.

The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the waters passed by; the abyss uttered its voice; the deep lifted up its hands.

11 С лънцето и луната застанаха в жилището си при виделината на Твоите летящи стрели, при сиянието на блестящото Ти копие.

The sun and the moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went and at the shining of thy glittering spear.

12 С негодувание си преминал земята, с гняв си вършеел народите;

Thou didst tread upon the land in wrath; thou didst thresh the Gentiles in anger.

13 и злязъл си за избавление на народа Си, за избавление чрез помазаника Си; премахнал си началника от дома на нечестивите, открил си основите дори до върха. (Села.)

Thou didst go forth to save thy people, to save with thine anointed; thou didst shatter the head of the house of the wicked by uncovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

14 П ронизал си със собствените му копия главите на воините му, които като вихрушка се устремиха да ме разбият и чиято радост беше, като че ли да ядат скришно сиромаха.

Thou didst strike through with his staffs the heads of his villages, who as a whirlwind attempted to scatter me; their pride was as to devour the poor secretly.

15 С конете Си си преминал морето, натрупаните много води.

Thou didst make a way through the sea for thine horses through the heap of great waters.

16 Ч ух - и вътрешностите ми се смутиха, устните ми трепереха от гласа, гнилост прониква в костите ми и на мястото си се разтреперих; защото трябва да чакам скръбния ден, когато възлезе против народа онзи, който ще се опълчи против тях.

¶ When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice; rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in my seat, that I might rest in the day of trouble when he comes up unto the people to destroy them.

17 З ащото, ако и да не цъфти смокинята, нито да има плод по лозите, трудът на маслината да се осуети и нивите да не дадат храна, стадото да се премахне от оградата и да няма говеда в оборите,

Because the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be on the vines; the labour of the olive shall lie, and the cultivated fields shall yield no food; the sheep shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

18 п ак аз ще се веселя в Господа, ще се радвам в Бога на спасението си.

yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will joy in the God of my saving health.

19 Й ехова Господ е силата ми; Той прави краката ми като краката на елените и ще ме направи да ходя по височините си. ___________________ За първия певец върху струнните ми инструменти.

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and upon my high places he will cause me to walk victorious in my instruments of music.
