1 ( По слав. 105.) Алилуя. Славете Господа, защото е благ. Защото Неговата милост трае довека.

¶ Halelu-JAH. O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good, for his mercy endures for ever.

2 К ой може да изкаже великите дела на Господа или да разгласи цялото Негово хваление?

Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? Who can show forth all his praise?

3 Б лажени онези, които пазят правосъдие; блажен онзи, който върши правда по всяко време.

Happy are those that keep judgment and he that does righteousness at all times.

4 П омни ме, Господи, с благоволението, което храниш към народа Си; посети ме със спасението Си;

Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou dost bear unto thy people; O visit me with thy saving health,

5 з а да видя благоденствието на Твоите избрани, за да се радвам във веселието на народа Ти, за да се хваля заедно с Твоето наследство.

that I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

6 С ъгрешихме ние и бащите ни, беззаконие и нечестие извършихме.

¶ We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity; we have done wickedly.

7 Б ащите ни не разсъждаваха за Твоите чудесни дела в Египет, не си спомняха многото Твои милости, а се възпротивиха при морето, при Червеното море.

Our fathers did not understand thy wonders in Egypt; they did not remember the multitude of thy mercies but rebelled by the sea, even at the Red sea.

8 П ри все това Бог ги избави заради името Си, за да направи познато могъществото Си.

Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

9 С мъмра Червеното море и то изсъхна; и така ги преведе през дълбочините като през пасбище

He reprehended the Red sea also, and it was dried up, so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

10 и ги спаси от ръката на ненавистника им, и ги изкупи от ръката на неприятеля.

And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

11 В одите покриха противниците им; не остана нито един от тях.

And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

12 Т огава повярваха на думите Му, пееха Му хваления.

Then they believed his words; they sang his praise.

13 Н о скоро забравиха делата Му, не чакаха изпълнението на намерението Му,

¶ They became rash. They soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel:

14 а се полакомиха твърде много в пустинята и изпитаха Бога в безводната страна;

They gave themselves over to lust in the wilderness and tempted God in the desert.

15 и Той им даде това, което искаха; прати обаче мършавост на душите им.

And he gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.

16 С ъщо и на Моисей те завидяха в стана и на Господния светия Аарон.

Then they envied Moses in the camp and Aaron the saint of the LORD.

17 З емята се разтвори и погълна Датан, и покри Авироновата дружина;

The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.

18 и огън се запали сред дружината им; пламък изгори нечестивите.

And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

19 Т е направиха теле в Хорив и се поклониха на излят идол;

They made a calf in Horeb and worshipped the molten image.

20 т ака размениха Славата си срещу подобие на вол, който яде трева!

Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eats grass.

21 З абравиха своя Избавител, Бога, Който беше извършил велики дела в Египет,

They forgot the God of their saving health, who had done great things in Egypt,

22 ч удесни дела в Хамовата земя, страшни неща около Червеното море.

wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things upon the Red sea.

23 З атова Той каза, че ще ги изтреби; само че избраният му Моисей застана пред Него в пролома, за да отвърне гнева Му, да не би да ги погуби.

Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath lest he should destroy them.

24 Д ори те презряха желаната земя, не повярваха в Неговото слово,

And they despised the pleasant land; they did not believe his word:

25 а зароптаха в шатрите си и не послушаха гласа на Господа.

But murmured in their tents and did not hearken unto the voice of the LORD.

26 З атова Той им се закле, че ще ги повали в пустинята

Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness,

27 и че ще повали потомството им между народите, и ще ги разпръсне по разни страни.

to overthrow their seed also among the Gentiles, and to scatter them in the lands.

28 С ъщо те се прилепиха към Ваалфегор и ядоха жертви, принесени на мъртви богове.

They also joined themselves unto Baalpeor and ate the sacrifices for the dead.

29 И така предизвикаха Бога с делата си дотолкова, че язвата направи пролом между тях.

Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions; and the plague broke in upon them.

30 Н о стана Финеес и извърши посредничество, и язвата престана;

Then Phinehas stood up and executed judgment, and so the plague was stayed.

31 и това му се вмени за правда от род в род довека.

And that was counted unto him for righteousness from generation to generation for evermore.

32 С ъщо и при водите на Мерива те Го разгневиха, така че нещастие сполетя Моисей заради тях;

They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

33 з ащото се разбунтуваха против Духа Му и Моисей говори несмислено с устните си.

Because they provoked his spirit to rebel, and he spoke it with his lips.

34 П ри това те не изтребиха племената, както Господ им беше заповядал,

¶ They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:

35 а се смесиха с тези народи и се научиха на техните дела;

But were mingled among the Gentiles and learned their works.

36 т ака че служиха на идолите им, които станаха примка за тях.

And they served their idols, which were a snare unto them.

37 Д а! Синовете си и дъщерите си принесоха в жертва на бесовете

Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils

38 и проляха невинна кръв - кръвта на синовете и дъщерите си, които пожертваха на ханаанските идоли; и земята се оскверни от кръвопролития.

and shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.

39 Т ака те се оскверниха от делата си и блудстваха в действията си.

Thus they were defiled with their own works and went a whoring with their own inventions.

40 З атова гневът на Господа пламна против народа Му и Той се погнуси от наследството Си.

Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

41 П редаде ги в ръцете на народите; и ги завладяха противниците им.

And he gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, and those that hated them ruled over them.

42 Н еприятелите им продължиха да ги притесняват и те останаха подчинени под ръката им.

Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

43 М ного пъти Той ги избавя; но понеже намеренията им бяха бунтовнически, затова се и унижиха поради беззаконието си.

He delivered them many times, but they rebelled at his counsel and were brought low for their iniquity.

44 В ъпреки това обаче Той погледна към утеснението им, когато чу вика им;

Nevertheless he would look upon their affliction and hear their cry

45 с помни си за тях Своя завет и се разкая според голямата Си милост;

and remember his covenant with them and repent according to the multitude of his mercies.

46 с ъщо направи да ги съжаляват всички, които ги бяха пленили.

He also caused those that carried them captives to have mercy upon them.

47 И збавѝ ни, Господи, Боже наш, и ни съберѝ измежду народите, за да славословим Твоето свято име и да тържествуваме с Твоята хвала.

Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the Gentiles, that we might lift up thy holy name, that we might glory in thy praise.

48 Б лагословен да е Господ, Израелевият Бог, отвека и довека; и целият народ да каже: Амин. Алилуя.

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting; and let all the people say, Amen. Halelu-JAH.
