1 П ри това Давид и военачалниците определиха за службата някои от Асафовите, Емановите и Едутуновите синове да пророкуват с арфи, псалтири и кимвали; а броят на онези, които се занимаваха с тази служба, беше:

¶ Moreover David and the captains of the host separated unto the ministry the sons of Asaph and of Heman and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of men that were suitable for the work of their respective ministry was,

2 о т Асафовите синове: Закхур, Йосиф, Натания и Асарила, Асафови синове, под наставлението на Асаф, който пророкуваше по нареждане на царя;

of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied at the hand of the king.

3 о т Едутун, Едутуновите синове: Годолия, Езрий, Исая, Семей, Асавий и Мататия, шестима под наставлението на баща си Едутун, който пророкуваше с арфа и славословеше Господа;

Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hand of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

4 о т Еман, Емановите синове: Вукия, Матания, Озиил, Суваил, Еримот, Анания, Ананий, Елиата, Гидалтий, Ромамтиезер, Йосвекаса, Малотий, Отир и Маазиот;

Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

5 в сички те бяха синове на царския ясновидец в Божиите слова Еман, определен да свири високо с рога. И Бог даде на Еман четиринадесет сина и три дъщери.

All these were the sons of Heman, the king’s seer, in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 В сички те под наставлението на баща си бяха певци в Господния дом с кимвали, псалтири и арфи за службата на Божия дом; а Асаф, Едутун и Еман бяха под нареждането на царя.

All these were under the direction of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the ministry of the house of God, under the hand of the king, of Asaph, of Jeduthun, and of Heman.

7 И броят им заедно с братята им, обучени в Господните пеения, всичките изкусни, беше двеста осемдесет и осем души.

So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that had understanding, was two hundred eighty-eight.

8 А те хвърлиха жребий за реда на служенето си, малък и голям, учител и ученик, наравно.

¶ And they cast lots, ward against ward, the small as well as the great, the one with understanding as well as the disciple.

9 П ървият жребий излезе за Асаф, т. е. за сина му Йосиф; вторият за Годолия - той, братята му и синовете му бяха дванадесет души;

Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve;

10 т ретият за Закхур - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

11 ч етвъртият за Езрий - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

12 п етият за Натания - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

13 ш естият за Вукия - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

14 с едмият за Асарил - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

15 о смият за Исая - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

16 д еветият за Матания - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

17 д есетият за Семей - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

18 е динадесетият за Азареил - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

19 д ванадесетият за Асавий - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

20 т ринадесетият за Суваил - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

21 ч етиринадесетият за Мататия - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

22 п етнадесетият за Еримот - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

23 ш естнадесетият за Анания - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

24 с едемнадесетият за Йосвекаса - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

25 о семнадесетият за Анания - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

26 д еветнадесетият за Малотия - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve:

27 д вадесетият за Елиата - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

28 д вадесет и първият за Отир - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the twenty-first to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

29 д вадесет и вторият за Гидалтия - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the twenty-second to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

30 д вадесет и третият за Маазиот - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души;

the twenty-third to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

31 и двадесет и четвъртият за Ромамтиезер - той, синовете му и братята му, дванадесет души.

the twenty-fourth to Romamtiezer, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve.
