1 И отделил Давид и начальники войска на службу сыновей Асафа, Емана и Идифуна, чтобы они провещавали на цитрах, псалтирях и кимвалах; и были отчислены они на дело служения своего:

¶ Moreover David and the captains of the host separated unto the ministry the sons of Asaph and of Heman and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of men that were suitable for the work of their respective ministry was,

2 и з сыновей Асафа: Заккур, Иосиф, Нефания и Ашарела сыновья Асафа, под руководством Асафа, игравшего по наставлению царя.

of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied at the hand of the king.

3 О т Идифуна сыновья Идифуна: Гедалия, Цери, Исаия, Семей, Хашавия и Маттафия, шестеро, под руководством отца своего Идифуна, игравшего на цитре во славу и хвалу Господа.

Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hand of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

4 О т Емана сыновья Емана: Буккия, Матфания, Озиил, Шевуил и Иеримоф, Ханания, Ханани, Елиафа, Гиддалти, Ромамти-Езер, Иошбекаша, Маллофи, Гофир и Махазиоф.

Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

5 В се эти сыновья Емана, прозорливца царского, по словам Божиим, чтобы возвышать славу его. И дал Бог Еману четырнадцать сыновей и трех дочерей.

All these were the sons of Heman, the king’s seer, in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 В се они под руководством отца своего пели в доме Господнем с кимвалами, псалтирями и цитрами в служении в доме Божием, по указанию царя, или Асафа, Идифуна и Емана.

All these were under the direction of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the ministry of the house of God, under the hand of the king, of Asaph, of Jeduthun, and of Heman.

7 И было число их с братьями их, обученными петь пред Господом, всех знающих, двести восемьдесят восемь.

So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that had understanding, was two hundred eighty-eight.

8 И бросили они жребий о череде служения, малый наравне с большим, учители с учениками.

¶ And they cast lots, ward against ward, the small as well as the great, the one with understanding as well as the disciple.

9 И вышел первый жребий Асафу, для Иосифа; второй Гедалии с братьями его и сыновьями его; их было двенадцать;

Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve;

10 т ретий Заккуру с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

11 ч етвертый Ицрию с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

12 п ятый Нефании с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

13 ш естой Буккии с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

14 с едьмой Иесареле с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

15 в осьмой Исаии с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

16 д евятый Матфании с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

17 д есятый Шимею с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

18 о диннадцатый Азариилу с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

19 д венадцатый Хашавии с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

20 т ринадцатый Шуваилу с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

21 ч етырнадцатый Маттафии с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

22 п ятнадцатый Иеримофу с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

23 ш естнадцатый Ханании с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

24 с емнадцатый Иошбекаше с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

25 в осемнадцатый Ханани с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

26 д евятнадцатый Маллофию с сыновьями его и братьями его; их--двенадцать;

the nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve:

the twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

the twenty-first to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;

the twenty-second to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren were twelve;
