1 ( 61-1) ^^Начальнику хора Идифумова. Псалом Давида.^^ (61-2) Только в Боге успокаивается душа моя: от Него спасение мое.

¶ Only in God does my soul rest; from him comes my saving health.

2 ( 61-3) Только Он--твердыня моя, спасение мое, убежище мое: не поколеблюсь более.

He only is my rock and my saving health; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

3 ( 61-4) Доколе вы будете налегать на человека? Вы будете низринуты, все вы, как наклонившаяся стена, как ограда пошатнувшаяся.

How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? Shall ye murder each other until ye are as a bowing wall and as a tottering fence?

4 ( 61-5) Они задумали свергнуть его с высоты, прибегли ко лжи; устами благословляют, а в сердце своем клянут.

They only consult to cast him down from his greatness; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth, but they curse in their inward parts. Selah.

5 ( 61-6) Только в Боге успокаивайся, душа моя! ибо на Него надежда моя.

My soul, rest thou only in God, for my hope is from him.

6 ( 61-7) Только Он--твердыня моя и спасение мое, убежище мое: не поколеблюсь.

He only is my rock and my saving health; he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

7 ( 61-8) В Боге спасение мое и слава моя; крепость силы моей и упование мое в Боге.

In God is my saving health and my glory; the rock of my strength and my refuge is in God.

8 ( 61-9) Народ! надейтесь на Него во всякое время; изливайте пред Ним сердце ваше: Бог нам прибежище.

¶ Wait in him at all times; ye peoples, pour out your heart before him; God is our refuge. Selah.

9 ( 61-10) Сыны человеческие--только суета; сыны мужей--ложь; если положить их на весы, все они вместе легче пустоты.

Surely the sons of Adam are vanity, and the sons of nobles are a lie; to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

10 ( 61-11) Не надейтесь на грабительство и не тщеславьтесь хищением; когда богатство умножается, не прилагайте сердца.

Trust not in violence and become not vain in the taking of spoil; if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

11 ( 61-12) Однажды сказал Бог, и дважды слышал я это, что сила у Бога,

God has spoken once; twice have I heard this that power belongs unto God.

12 ( 61-13) и у Тебя, Господи, милость, ибо Ты воздаешь каждому по делам его.

Also unto thee, O Lord, belongs mercy, for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
