1 ( 72-1) ^^Псалом Асафа.^^ Как благ Бог к Израилю, к чистым сердцем!

¶ Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are pure in heart.

2 ( 72-2) А я--едва не пошатнулись ноги мои, едва не поскользнулись стопы мои, --

But as for me, my feet almost departed from the way; my steps had almost slipped.

3 ( 72-3) я позавидовал безумным, видя благоденствие нечестивых,

For I became angry against the foolish when I saw the peace of the wicked.

4 ( 72-4) ибо им нет страданий до смерти их, и крепки силы их;

Because there is no restraint that would bring about their death, but their strength is firm.

5 ( 72-5) на работе человеческой нет их, и с людьми не подвергаются ударам.

They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

6 ( 72-6) Оттого гордость, как ожерелье, обложила их, и дерзость, наряд, одевает их;

Therefore they are crowned with pride; they cover themselves with violence as a garment.

7 ( 72-7) выкатились от жира глаза их, бродят помыслы в сердце;

Their eyes stand out with fatness; they easily obtain the desires of their heart.

8 ( 72-8) над всем издеваются, злобно разглашают клевету, говорят свысока;

They are lawless and speak wickedly of doing violence; they speak loftily.

9 ( 72-9) поднимают к небесам уста свои, и язык их расхаживает по земле.

They set their mouth against heaven, and their tongue walks through the earth.

10 ( 72-10) Потому туда же обращается народ Его, и пьют воду полною чашею,

Therefore his people shall return here; and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

11 ( 72-11) и говорят: 'как узнает Бог? и есть ли ведение у Вышнего?'

And they say, How does God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

12 ( 72-12) И вот, эти нечестивые благоденствуют в веке сем, умножают богатство.

Behold, these ungodly men, without being troubled by the world obtain riches.

13 ( 72-13) так не напрасно ли я очищал сердце мое и омывал в невинности руки мои,

Verily, in vain have I cleansed my heart and washed my hands in innocency

14 ( 72-14) и подвергал себя ранам всякий день и обличениям всякое утро?

and been plagued all day long and chastened every morning:

15 ( 72-15) если бы я сказал: 'буду рассуждать так', --то я виновен был бы пред родом сынов Твоих.

¶ If I should say, I will speak as they do; behold, I should deny the generation of thy sons.

16 ( 72-16) И думал я, как бы уразуметь это, но это трудно было в глазах моих,

I shall meditate that I might understand this; it is very hard for me to see.

17 ( 72-17) доколе не вошел я во святилище Божие и не уразумел конца их.

When I come into the sanctuary of God, then I shall understand their end.

18 ( 72-18) Так! на скользких путях поставил Ты их и низвергаешь их в пропасти.

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places; in desolation thou shalt cause them to fall.

19 ( 72-19) Как нечаянно пришли они в разорение, исчезли, погибли от ужасов!

How they are brought into desolation, as in a moment! They have come to an end; they are utterly consumed with terrors.

20 ( 72-20) Как сновидение по пробуждении, так Ты, Господи, пробудив, уничтожишь мечты их.

As the dream of one who awakes; so, O Lord, when thou shalt rise up, thou shalt despise their appearances.

21 ( 72-21) Когда кипело сердце мое, и терзалась внутренность моя,

¶ Truly my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my kidneys.

22 ( 72-22) тогда я был невежда и не разумел; как скот был я пред Тобою.

But I was ignorant and did not understand; I was as a beast before thee.

23 ( 72-23) Но я всегда с Тобою: Ты держишь меня за правую руку;

Nevertheless I was continually with thee; thou hast apprehended me by my right hand.

24 ( 72-24) Ты руководишь меня советом Твоим и потом примешь меня в славу.

Thou hast guided me with thy counsel, and afterward thou shalt receive me unto glory.

25 ( 72-25) Кто мне на небе? и с Тобою ничего не хочу на земле.

Whom have I in heaven but thee? And apart from thee there is nothing upon the earth that I desire.

26 ( 72-26) Изнемогает плоть моя и сердце мое: Бог твердыня сердца моего и часть моя вовек.

My flesh and my heart fail; the strength of my heart is that God is my portion for ever.

27 ( 72-27) Ибо вот, удаляющие себя от Тебя гибнут; Ты истребляешь всякого отступающего от Тебя.

For, behold, those that stray from thee shall perish; thou dost cut off all those that go a whoring from thee.

28 ( 72-28) А мне благо приближаться к Богу! На Господа Бога я возложил упование мое, чтобы возвещать все дела Твои.

But as for me, to draw near to God is good; I have put my hope in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
