1 П авел, узник Иисуса Христа, и Тимофей брат, Филимону возлюбленному и сотруднику нашему,

¶ Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy, our brother, unto Philemon, our dearly beloved and fellowlabourer,

2 и Апфии, (сестре) возлюбленной, и Архиппу, сподвижнику нашему, и домашней твоей церкви:

And to our beloved sister, Apphia, and Archippus, our fellowsoldier and to the congregation in thy house:

3 б лагодать вам и мир от Бога Отца нашего и Господа Иисуса Христа.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 Б лагодарю Бога моего, всегда вспоминая о тебе в молитвах моих,

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

5 с лыша о твоей любви и вере, которую имеешь к Господу Иисусу и ко всем святым,

hearing of thy charity and faith, which thou hast in the Lord Jesus and toward all saints;

6 д абы общение веры твоей оказалось деятельным в познании всякого у вас добра во Христе Иисусе.

that the communication of thy faith may become effectual for the knowledge of all the good that is in you by Christ Jesus.

7 И бо мы имеем великую радость и утешение в любви твоей, потому что тобою, брат, успокоены сердца святых.

For we have great joy and consolation in thy charity because the bowels of the saints have been refreshed by thee, brother.

8 П осему, имея великое во Христе дерзновение приказывать тебе, что должно,

¶ Therefore, though I might be very bold in Christ to command thee that which is expedient,

9 п о любви лучше прошу, не иной кто, как я, Павел старец, а теперь и узник Иисуса Христа;

yet for the sake of charity I rather beseech thee, being such a one as Paul the aged and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

10 п рошу тебя о сыне моем Онисиме, которого родил я в узах моих:

I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds,

11 о н был некогда негоден для тебя, а теперь годен тебе и мне; я возвращаю его;

who in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now is profitable to thee and to me,

12 т ы же прими его, как мое сердце.

whom I send again unto thee; therefore, receive him, as you would receive me.

13 Я хотел при себе удержать его, дабы он вместо тебя послужил мне в узах благовествование;

I desired to retain him with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel,

14 н о без твоего согласия ничего не хотел сделать, чтобы доброе дело твое было не вынужденно, а добровольно.

but I did not want to do anything without thy counsel, that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

15 И бо, может быть, он для того на время отлучился, чтобы тебе принять его навсегда,

Perhaps for this, he departed from you for a season, that thou should have him again forever,

16 н е как уже раба, но выше раба, брата возлюбленного, особенно мне, а тем больше тебе, и по плоти и в Господе.

not now as a slave, but above a slave, a brother beloved, especially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord.

17 И так, если ты имеешь общение со мною, то прими его, как меня.

If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

18 Е сли же он чем обидел тебя, или должен, считай это на мне.

If he has wronged thee or owes thee anything, put that on my account;

19 Я , Павел, написал моею рукою: я заплачу; не говорю тебе о том, что ты и самим собою мне должен.

I Paul have written it with my own hand, I will repay it; albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

20 Т ак, брат, дай мне воспользоваться от тебя в Господе; успокой мое сердце в Господе.

Therefore, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord, that thou might refresh my heart in the Lord.

21 Н адеясь на послушание твое, я написал к тебе, зная, что ты сделаешь и более, нежели говорю.

Having confidence in thy obedience, I have written unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

22 А вместе приготовь для меня и помещение; ибо надеюсь, что по молитвам вашим я буду дарован вам.

In the same manner prepare me also a lodging; for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

23 П риветствует тебя Епафрас, узник вместе со мною ради Христа Иисуса,

Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus, salutes thee.

24 М арк, Аристарх, Димас, Лука, сотрудники мои.

Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellowlabourers.

25 Б лагодать Господа нашего Иисуса Христа со духом вашим. Аминь.
