1 ^ ^Псалом Давида.^^ Зачем мятутся народы, и племена замышляют тщетное?

¶ Why do the Gentiles rage, and the peoples imagine a vain thing?

2 В осстают цари земли, и князья совещаются вместе против Господа и против Помазанника Его.

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his anointed, saying,

3 ' Расторгнем узы их, и свергнем с себя оковы их'.

let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us.

4 Ж ивущий на небесах посмеется, Господь поругается им.

He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Т огда скажет им во гневе Своем и яростью Своею приведет их в смятение:

Then he shall speak unto them in his wrath and trouble them in his sore displeasure.

6 ' Я помазал Царя Моего над Сионом, святою горою Моею;

Yet I have set my king upon Zion, the mountain of my holiness.

7 в озвещу определение: Господь сказал Мне: Ты Сын Мой; Я ныне родил Тебя;

¶ I will declare the decree; the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day I have begotten thee.

8 п роси у Меня, и дам народы в наследие Тебе и пределы земли во владение Тебе;

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the Gentiles for thine inheritance and unto the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9 Т ы поразишь их жезлом железным; сокрушишь их, как сосуд горшечника'.

Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

10 И так вразумитесь, цари; научитесь, судьи земли!

¶ Understand now therefore, O ye kings: receive chastening, ye judges of the earth.

11 С лужите Господу со страхом и радуйтесь с трепетом.

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12 П очтите Сына, чтобы Он не прогневался, и чтобы вам не погибнуть в пути, ибо гнев Его возгорится вскоре. Блаженны все, уповающие на Него.

Kiss the Son lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way when his wrath is kindled in a little while. Blessed are all those that put their trust in him.
