1 П отом выпал жребий сынам Иосифа: от Иордана подле Иерихона, у вод Иерихонских на восток, пустыня, простирающаяся от Иерихона к горе Вефильской;

¶ And the lot of the sons of Joseph fell from the Jordan of Jericho unto the water of Jericho towards the east to the wilderness that goes up from Jericho to Mount Bethel,

2 о т Вефиля идет к Лузу и переходит к пределу Архи до Атарофа,

and from Bethel going to Luz and passing the border of Archi in Ataroth,

3 и спускается к морю, к пределу Иафлета, до предела нижнего Беф-Орона и до Газера, и оканчивается у моря.

and turns to descend to the westward sea to the border of Japhleti until the border of Bethhoron the lower, and to Gezer, and comes out at the sea.

4 Э то получили в удел сыны Иосифа: Манассия и Ефрем.

So the sons of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, received their inheritance.

5 П редел сынов Ефремовых по племенам их был сей: от востока пределом удела их был Атароф-Адар до Беф-Орона верхнего;

¶ And this was the border of the sons of Ephraim according to their families; this was the border of their inheritance on the east side from Atarothaddar unto Bethhoron the upper;

6 п отом идет предел к морю северною стороною Михмефафа и поворачивает к восточной стороне Фаанаф-Силома и проходит его с восточной стороны Ианоха;

and this border comes out to the sea and to Michmethah on the north side; and this border goes around eastward unto Taanathshiloh and from here passes on the east to Janohah;

7 о т Ианоха, нисходя к Атарофу и Наарафу, примыкает к Иерихону и доходит до Иордана;

and from Janohah it goes down to Ataroth and to Naarath, and touches in Jericho and comes out at the Jordan.

8 о т Таппуаха идет предел к морю, к потоку Кане, и оканчивается морем. Вот удел колена сынов Ефремовых, по племенам их.

And from Tappuah this border turns towards the westward sea at the river Kanah and comes out at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim by their families.

9 И города отделены сынам Ефремовым в уделе сынов Манассииных, все города с селами их.

There were also cities separated for the sons of Ephraim among the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

10 Н о не изгнали Хананеев, живших в Газере; посему Хананеи жили среди Ефремлян до сего дня, платя им дань.

And they did not drive out the Canaanite that dwelt in Gezer, but the Canaanite remained in the midst of Ephraim unto this day and served under tribute.
