1 З а шесть дней до Пасхи пришел Иисус в Вифанию, где был Лазарь умерший, которого Он воскресил из мертвых.

¶ Jesus, therefore, six days before the passover, came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

2 Т ам приготовили Ему вечерю, и Марфа служила, и Лазарь был одним из возлежавших с Ним.

There they made him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those that sat at the table with him.

3 М ария же, взяв фунт нардового чистого драгоценного мира, помазала ноги Иисуса и отерла волосами своими ноги Его; и дом наполнился благоуханием от мира.

Then Mary took a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

4 Т огда один из учеников Его, Иуда Симонов Искариот, который хотел предать Его, сказал:

Then said one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who should betray him,

5 Д ля чего бы не продать это миро за триста динариев и не раздать нищим?

Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarius and given to the poor?

6 С казал же он это не потому, чтобы заботился о нищих, но потому что был вор. Он имел ящик и носил, что туда опускали.

This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief and had the bag and would take from what was put therein.

7 И исус же сказал: оставьте ее; она сберегла это на день погребения Моего.

Therefore Jesus said, Let her alone; against the day of my burying she has kept this;

8 И бо нищих всегда имеете с собою, а Меня не всегда.

for the poor ye always have with you, but ye shall not always have me.

9 М ногие из Иудеев узнали, что Он там, и пришли не только для Иисуса, но чтобы видеть и Лазаря, которого Он воскресил из мертвых.

A great multitude of the Jews therefore knew that he was there; and they came not only for Jesus’ sake, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

10 П ервосвященники же положили убить и Лазаря,

So the princes of the priests took counsel that they might also put Lazarus to death

11 п отому что ради него многие из Иудеев приходили и веровали в Иисуса.

because by reason of him many of the Jews went away and believed on Jesus.

12 Н а другой день множество народа, пришедшего на праздник, услышав, что Иисус идет в Иерусалим,

¶ On the next day the multitude that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

13 в зяли пальмовые ветви, вышли навстречу Ему и восклицали: осанна! благословен грядущий во имя Господне, Царь Израилев!

took branches of palm trees and went forth to meet him and cried, Hosanna; Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel.

14 И исус же, найдя молодого осла, сел на него, как написано:

And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat upon it, as it is written,

15 Н е бойся, дщерь Сионова! се, Царь твой грядет, сидя на молодом осле.

Fear not, daughter of Sion; behold, thy King comes, sitting on an ass’s colt.

16 У ченики Его сперва не поняли этого; но когда прославился Иисус, тогда вспомнили, что так было о Нем написано, и это сделали Ему.

His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of him and that they had done these things unto him.

17 Н арод, бывший с Ним прежде, свидетельствовал, что Он вызвал из гроба Лазаря и воскресил его из мертвых.

The multitude, therefore, that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave and raised him from the dead, bore witness.

18 П отому и встретил Его народ, ибо слышал, что Он сотворил это чудо.

For this cause the multitude also met him, for they had heard that he had done this sign.

19 Ф арисеи же говорили между собою: видите ли, что не успеваете ничего? весь мир идет за Ним.

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

20 И з пришедших на поклонение в праздник были некоторые Еллины.

¶ And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast;

21 О ни подошли к Филиппу, который был из Вифсаиды Галилейской, и просили его, говоря: господин! нам хочется видеть Иисуса.

the same came therefore to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Lord, we desire to see Jesus.

22 Ф илипп идет и говорит о том Андрею; и потом Андрей и Филипп сказывают о том Иисусу.

Philip came and told Andrew, and then Andrew and Philip told Jesus.

23 И исус же сказал им в ответ: пришел час прославиться Сыну Человеческому.

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour comes in which the Son of man shall be clarified.

24 И стинно, истинно говорю вам: если пшеничное зерно, пав в землю, не умрет, то останется одно; а если умрет, то принесет много плода.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.

25 Л юбящий душу свою погубит ее; а ненавидящий душу свою в мире сем сохранит ее в жизнь вечную.

He that loves his life shall lose it, and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

26 К то Мне служит, Мне да последует; и где Я, там и слуга Мой будет. И кто Мне служит, того почтит Отец Мой.

If anyone serves me, let them follow me; and where I am, there shall my servant be also; the one that serves me, will my Father honour.

27 Д уша Моя теперь возмутилась; и что Мне сказать? Отче! избавь Меня от часа сего! Но на сей час Я и пришел.

¶ Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour, but for this have I come in this hour.

28 О тче! прославь имя Твое. Тогда пришел с неба глас: и прославил и еще прославлю.

Father, clarify thy name. Then there came a voice from the heaven, saying, I have clarified it and will clarify it again.

29 Н арод, стоявший и слышавший, говорил: это гром; а другие говорили: Ангел говорил Ему.

The people, therefore, that were present and heard it, said that it thundered; others said, An angel spoke to him.

30 И исус на это сказал: не для Меня был глас сей, но для народа.

Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

31 Н ыне суд миру сему; ныне князь мира сего изгнан будет вон.

Now is the judgment of this world; now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

32 И когда Я вознесен буду от земли, всех привлеку к Себе.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

33 С ие говорил Он, давая разуметь, какою смертью Он умрет.

This he said, signifying what death he should die.

34 Н арод отвечал Ему: мы слышали из закона, что Христос пребывает вовек; как же Ты говоришь, что должно вознесену быть Сыну Человеческому? кто Этот Сын Человеческий?

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that the Christ abides for ever; and how sayest thou, It is expedient that the Son of man be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?

35 Т огда Иисус сказал им: еще на малое время свет есть с вами; ходите, пока есть свет, чтобы не объяла вас тьма: а ходящий во тьме не знает, куда идет.

Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the Light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you; for he that walks in darkness does not know where he goes.

36 Д околе свет с вами, веруйте в свет, да будете сынами света. Сказав это, Иисус отошел и скрылся от них.

While ye have the Light, believe in the Light that ye may be the sons of light. Jesus spoke these things and departed and hid himself from them.

37 С только чудес сотворил Он пред ними, и они не веровали в Него,

¶ But although he had done so many signs before them, yet they did not believe in him,

38 д а сбудется слово Исаии пророка: Господи! кто поверил слышанному от нас? и кому открылась мышца Господня?

that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, Lord, who shall believe our report? and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

39 П отому не могли они веровать, что, как еще сказал Исаия,

Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again,

40 н арод сей ослепил глаза свои и окаменил сердце свое, да не видят глазами, и не уразумеют сердцем, и не обратятся, чтобы Я исцелил их.

He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart and be converted, and I should heal them.

41 С ие сказал Исаия, когда видел славу Его и говорил о Нем.

Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory and spoke of him.

42 В прочем и из начальников многие уверовали в Него; но ради фарисеев не исповедывали, чтобы не быть отлученными от синагоги,

¶ Nevertheless, even among the princes many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;

43 и бо возлюбили больше славу человеческую, нежели славу Божию.

for they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.

44 И исус же возгласил и сказал: верующий в Меня не в Меня верует, но в Пославшего Меня.

¶ But Jesus cried and said, He that believes in me, believes not in me, but in him that sent me,

45 И видящий Меня видит Пославшего Меня.

and he that sees me sees him that sent me.

46 Я свет пришел в мир, чтобы всякий верующий в Меня не оставался во тьме.

I am come as a light into the world that whosoever believes in me should not abide in darkness.

47 И если кто услышит Мои слова и не поверит, Я не сужу его, ибо Я пришел не судить мир, но спасти мир.

And if anyone hears my words and believes not, I judge him not, for I came not to judge the world but to save the world.

48 О твергающий Меня и не принимающий слов Моих имеет судью себе: слово, которое Я говорил, оно будет судить его в последний день.

He that rejects me and does not receive my words has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

49 И бо Я говорил не от Себя; но пославший Меня Отец, Он дал Мне заповедь, что сказать и что говорить.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak.

50 И Я знаю, что заповедь Его есть жизнь вечная. Итак, что Я говорю, говорю, как сказал Мне Отец.

And I know that his commandment is eternal life; whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
