1 З аради Сион няма да млъкна и заради Йерусалим няма да престана, докато не се яви правдата му като сияние и спасението му - като запалено светило.

¶ For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace; and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest until her righteousness goes forth as brightness and her saving health is lit as a flaming torch.

2 Н ародите ще видят правдата ти и всички царе - славата ти; и ти ще се наречеш с ново име, което устата Господни ще изрекат.

And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness and all the kings thy glory; and thou shalt be given a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

3 Щ е бъдеш също така славен венец в ръката Господня, дори царска корона на дланта на твоя Бог.

Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4 Н яма вече да се наричаш изоставен, нито земята ти ще се нарича вече пуста; а ще се наричаш: "Моето благоволение е в него", и земята ти - венчана; защото Господ благоволи в теб и земята ти ще бъде венчана.

Thou shalt no longer be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any longer be termed Desolate; but thou shalt be called Hephzibah and thy land Beulah; for the will of the LORD shall be in thee, and thy land shall be married.

5 З ащото както момък се жени за мома, така и твоят народ ще се ожени за теб; и както младоженецът се радва на невястата, така и твоят Бог ще се зарадва на тебе.

For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee; and as the bridegroom rejoices with the bride, so shall thy God rejoice with thee.

6 Н а стените ти, Йерусалиме, поставих стражи, които никога няма да мълчат - нито денем, нито нощем. Вие, които припомняте на Господа, не замлъквайте

¶ I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night; ye that make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent

7 и не Му давайте почивка, докато не утвърди Йерусалим и докато не го направи за похвала по земята.

and give him no rest, until he establishes and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 Г оспод се закле в десницата Си и в силната Си мишца, като каза: Няма да дам вече житото ти за храна на неприятелите ти и чужденците няма да пият виното ти, за което ти си се трудил;

The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no longer give thy wheat to be food for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for which thou hast laboured:

9 а които го прибират в житницата, те ще го ядат и ще хвалят Господа; и които го събират, те ще го пият в дворовете на Моето светилище.

But those that have gathered it shall eat it and praise the LORD; and those that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

10 М инете, минете през портите, пригответе пътя за народа; изравнете, изравнете пътя, съберете камъните му; издигнете знаме за племената.

¶ Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; clear up, clear up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner as an example for the people.

11 Е то, Господ прогласи до краищата на земята: Кажете на сионовата дъщеря: Ето, Спасителят ти иде; ето, наградата Му е с Него и отплатата Му - пред Него.

Behold, the LORD has caused it to be heard unto the end of the earth; Say unto the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy Saviour comes; behold that his reward is with him, and his work before him.

12 И ще ги наричат свят народ, изкупените от Господа; и ти ще се наричаш издирен, град неизоставен.

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD; and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
