1 П ак дойде към мене Господнето слово и каза:

¶ Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 С ине човешки, направи да познае Йерусалим мерзостите си, като кажеш:

Son of man, notify Jerusalem of her abominations

3 Т ака казва Господ Йехова на йерусалимската дъщеря: Произходът и рождението ти е от Ханаанската земя; баща ти беше амореец, а майка ти хетейка.

and say, Thus hath the Lord GOD said concerning Jerusalem: Thy habitation and thy race was of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite and thy mother a Hittite.

4 А при раждането ти, в деня, когато си се родила, пъпът ти не е бил отрязан, нито си била къпана във вода, за да се очистиш, със сол не си била насолявана, нито в пелени повивана.

And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.

5 О ко не те е пощадило, за да ти направи някои от тези неща и да те пожали; а в деня, когато си се родила, понеже са се погнусили от тебе, си била изхвърлена върху лицето на полето.

No eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have mercy upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field with little value given to thy life, in the day that thou wast born.

6 И когато минах край теб и те видях, че се валяше в кръвта си, ти казах, както беше в кръвта си: Да си жива. Да! Казах ти, както беше в кръвта си: Да си жива.

¶ I passed by thee and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, and I said unto thee, In thy blood thou shalt live; yea, I said unto thee, In thy blood thou shalt live.

7 Н аправих те да нараснеш извънредно много - като полската трева; и ти порасна и стана голяма, и достигна превъзходна красота; гърдите ти се образуваха и космите ти растяха; но ти беше гола и непокрита.

In ten thousands, as the grass of the field, have I placed thee, and thou wast increased and made great, and thou art come to be adorned with excellent ornaments; thy breasts were fashioned, and thy hair is grown; but thou wast naked and bare.

8 И когато минах край теб и те погледнах, ето, възрастта ти беше любовна възраст; и така, като прострях полата Си върху теб и покрих голотата ти, клех ти се и встъпих в завет с тебе, казва Господ Йехова; и ти стана Моя.

And I passed by thee and looked upon thee; behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my mantle over thee and covered thy shame; and I gave thee an oath and entered into a covenant with thee, said the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine;

9 Т огава те окъпах с вода. Да! Измих кръвта ти от теб и те помазах с миро.

and I washed thee with water and washed away thy blood from upon thee, and I anointed thee with oil.

10 О блякох те още във везани дрехи и те обух с чехли от язовски кожи, опасах те с висон и те покрих с копринена покривалка.

I clothed thee also with broidered work and shod thee with badgers’ skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I clothed thee with silk.

11 У красих те още с накити, сложих гривна на ръцете ти и огърлица - около шията ти,

I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy arms and a chain on thy neck.

12 с ложих и колелце на ноздрите ти, обеци на ушите ти и славен венец на главата ти.

And I put nose rings upon thy nostrils and earrings in thine ears and a diadem of beauty upon thine head.

13 Т ака ти бе украсена със злато и сребро; и дрехите ти бяха от висон, коприна и везано; ти ядеше чисто брашно, мед и масло; и стана превъзходно красива и си се издигнала дори до царско положение.

Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen and silk and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour of wheat and honey and oil: and thou wast made exceeding beautiful, and thou hast prospered even until thou hast reigned.

14 Т и още се прочу между народите по твоята хубост, защото тя стана съвършена чрез Моето величие, с което те облякох, казва Господ Йехова.

And thy renown went forth among the Gentiles for thy beauty; for it was perfect because of my beauty which I placed upon thee, said the Lord GOD.

15 Н о поради известността си ти си уповавала на хубостта си и си блудствала, и към всеки, който минаваше, си изливала блудството си; и то е станало негово.

¶ But thou didst trust in thine own beauty and didst play the harlot because of thy renown and didst pour out thy fornications on every one that passed by; thou wert his.

16 И си взела от дрехите си и като си украсила издигнатите си места с пъстри шарки, си блудствала на тях. Такова нещо не е било, нито ще бъде.

And of thy garments thou didst take and make altars of divers colours and play the harlot thereupon; the like shall not come again, neither shall it be so.

17 С ъщо си взела лъскавите накити от Моето злато и сребро, които Аз ти бях дал, и като си си направила от тях мъжки образи, си блудствала с тях;

Thou hast taken likewise the vessels of thy beauty of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee and made to thyself images of men and didst commit whoredom with them

18 в зела си и везаните си дрехи и си ги покрила, и си сложила пред тях Моето масло и тамян;

And thou didst take thy garments of many colours and cover them; and thou hast set my oil and my incense before them.

19 с ъщо и Моя хляб, който ти дадох - чистото брашно, маслото и меда, с които те хранех, - дори тях си положила отпред за благоухание. Така стана, казва Господ Йехова.

My bread also which I had given thee; the fine flour and the oil and the honey with which I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour; and thus it was, said the Lord GOD.

20 П ри това си взела синовете и дъщерите, които си Ми родила, и тях си им пожертвала да бъдат изядени. Малко ли бяха тези твои блудства,

Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these thou hast sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,

21 ч е си заклала и синовете Ми и си ги предала да бъдат преведени през огъня за тях?

that thou hast sacrificed my children and given them over to them that they might cause them to pass through the fire unto them?

22 И във всичките си мерзости и блудства не си помнила дните на младостта си, когато ти беше гола и непокрита и се валяше в кръвта си.

And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms hast thou not remembered the days of thy youth when thou wast naked and bare? Thou wast polluted in thy blood.

23 А над всички тези свои злини (горко, горко ти! - казва Господ Йехова)

And it came to pass after all thy wickedness (woe, woe unto thee! said the Lord GOD)

24 с и съградила за себе си дом за блудство и на всяка улица си направила за себе си издигнато място.

that thou hast also built unto thee a high place and hast made thee an altar in every street.

25 Н а всеки кръстопът си съградила издигнато място, направила си хубостта си гнусна и като си разтворила краката си на всеки, който минаваше, си блудствала твърде много.

Thou hast built thy altar at every head of every way and hast made thy beauty abominable and hast opened thy thighs to every one that passed by and multiplied thy whoredoms.

26 Б лудствала си и с египтяните, едрите си съседи, и като си блудствала твърде много, си Ме разгневила.

Thou hast also committed fornication with the sons of Egypt, thy neighbours, great of flesh, and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.

27 И така, ето, прострях ръката Си върху тебе, намалих определената ти храна и те предадох на волята на онези, които те мразят - на филистимските дъщери, които се срамуват от твоите позорни постъпки.

Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee and have diminished thy liberty and delivered thee unto the will of those that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of thy lewd way.

28 Б лудствала си и с асирийците, защото не си се наситила. Да! Блудствала си с тях, но пак не си се наситила.

Thou hast played the whore also with the sons of Assyria because thou wast insatiable; thou hast played the harlot with them and yet could not be satisfied.

29 П ри това си блудствала твърде много - дори до онази търговска земя, до Халдейската; и пак не си се наситила.

Thou hast likewise multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan and of the Chaldeans, and yet thou wast not satisfied with this.

30 К олко е слабо сърцето ти, казва Господ Йехова, като вършиш всички тези работи - дела на безочлива блудница!

How inconsistent is thy heart, said the Lord GOD, having done all these things, the work of a powerful harlot:

31 З ащото си съградила дом за блудството си на всеки кръстопът и си направила издигнатото си място във всяка улица, а пък не си станала като блудница, защото си презряла заплата,

building thine altars at the head of every way and making thine altars in every street! And thou hast not been as a harlot in that thou scornest hire,

32 а си била като жена прелюбодейка, която приема чужди мъже вместо своя си.

but as a wife that commits adultery, who takes strangers instead of her husband!

33 Н а всички блудници дават заплата; а ти даваш даровете си на всичките си любовници и ги подкупваш, за да идват при теб отвред и да блудстват с тебе.

They give gifts to all whores, but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers and givest them offerings that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.

34 Т ака че в блудствата ти с тебе става противното на онова, което става с другите жени, защото никой не те следва, за да блудства с теб, и понеже ти даваш заплата, а на тебе заплата не дават, пак поради това с тебе става противното.

And in thee it is to the contrary from other women in thy whoredoms; and after thee, there shall never be whoredom like unto thine because in giving thy gifts when gifts are not given unto thee, it has been backwards.

35 З атова чуй, блуднице, словото Господне.

¶ Therefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:

36 Т ака казва Господ Йехова: Понеже си изливала парите си и голотата ти се е открила в блудствата ти с любовниците ти, и поради всичките твои мерзостни идоли, и поради кръвта на децата ти, които си им принесла -

Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Because thy nakedness has been uncovered, and thy confusion has been manifested to thy lovers in thy whoredoms and to the idols of thy abominations and in the blood of thy children which thou didst give unto them;

37 п оради тези неща, ето, Аз ще събера всички твои любовници, с които си се наслаждавала, и всички, които си любила, заедно с всички, които си намразила - ще ги събера против теб отвред и ще им открия голотата ти, за да видят цялата ти голота.

therefore, behold that I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure and all those that thou hast loved, with all those that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee and will uncover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.

38 И ще те съдя, според както се съдят такива жени, които прелюбодействат и проливат кръв; и ще нанеса върху тебе кръвно наказание с ярост и ревност.

And I will judge thee by the laws regarding women who commit adultery and those that shed blood; and I will give thee away in blood of fury and of jealousy.

39 С ъщо ще те предам в ръката им; и те ще съборят твоя дом за блудство, ще разорят издигнатите ти места, ще те съблекат още от дрехите ти, ще отнемат лъскавите ти накити и ще те оставят гола и непокрита.

And I will deliver thee into their hand, and they shall destroy thy high place and shall break down thy altars; they shall strip thee also of thy clothes and shall take the vessels of thy glory and shall leave thee naked and bare.

40 И ще доведат против тебе много народ, които ще те убият с камъни и ще те прободат с мечовете си.

They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones and thrust thee through with their swords.

41 Щ е изгорят с огън къщите ти и ще извършат съд над тебе пред очите на много жени; и Аз ще те направя да изоставиш блудството и няма да даваш вече заплата.

And they shall burn thine houses with fire and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women; and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.

42 Т ака яростта Ми против тебе ще се уталожи и ревността Ми спрямо тебе ще престане; и Аз ще утихна и няма вече да се гневя.

So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet and will no longer be angry.

43 П онеже не си си спомнила за дните на младостта си, а си Ме дразнила с всичко това, затова, ето, и Аз ще върна върху главата ти постъпките ти, казва Господ Йехова; и няма да извършваш вече този разврат след всичките си мръсни дела.

Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth but hast provoked me to anger in all this; therefore, behold I also have recompensed thy way upon thine head, said the Lord GOD; for thou hast not even thought regarding all thine abominations.

44 Е то, всеки, който си служи с поговорки, ще употреби тази поговорка против тебе, като каже: Каквато майката, такава и дъщерята.

¶ Behold, every one that makes proverbs shall make this proverb regarding thee, saying: As is the mother so is her daughter.

45 Т и си дъщеря на майка си - на онази, която се отметна от мъжа и децата си; ти си сестра на сестрите си, които се отметнаха от мъжете и децата си. Майка ви беше хетейка, а баща ви амореец.

Thou art thy mother’s daughter that discarded her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters who discarded their husbands and their children: your mother was a Hittite, and your father an Amorite.

46 П о-голямата ти сестра е Самария - тя и дъщерите ѝ, които живеят отляво ти; а по-малката ти сестра е Содом и дъщерите ѝ, които живеят отдясно ти.

And thine elder sister is Samaria with her daughters that dwell at thy left hand; and thy younger sister that dwells at thy right hand is Sodom with her daughters.

47 А ти не си ходила само според техните пътища, нито си направила само по техните мерзости, а, като че ли това беше много малко, си надминала разврата им във всичките си пътища.

Yet thou hast not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations; but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.

48 В живота Си се заклевам, казва Господ Йехова, нито сестра ти Содом постъпи, нито дъщерите ѝ, както постъпихте ти и твоите дъщери.

As I live, said the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister has never done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.

49 Е то какво беше беззаконието на сестра ти Содом, нейното и на дъщерите ѝ: гордост, пресищане с храна и безгрижно спокойствие; а сиромаха и немощния не подкрепяше;

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom: pride, fullness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the afflicted and needy.

50 т е се и възгордяха и вършеха мерзости пред Мене; затова, като видях това, ги отхвърлих.

And they filled themselves with arrogance and committed abomination before me, and when I saw it, I took them away.

51 С ъщо и Самария не е извършила дори и половината от твоите грехове; а ти си извършила много повече мерзости от тях и оправда сестрите си с всички мерзости, които си извършила.

Neither has Samaria committed half of thy sins, but thou hast multiplied thy abominations more than they and hast justified thy sisters with all thy abominations which thou hast done.

52 Т и, която съдеше сестрите си, понеси сега срама си; поради съгрешенията, които си извършила, по-гнусни от техните, те са по-праведни от тебе; затова се засрами и ти и понеси срама си, понеже си оправдала сестрите си.

Thou also, who hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they; they are more righteous than thou; be thou confounded also and bear thy shame in that thou hast justified thy sisters.

53 И Аз, като върна техните пленници - пленниците на Содом и на дъщерите ѝ и пленниците на Самария и на дъщерите ѝ, ще върна тогава и твоите пленници заедно с тях,

When I shall turn their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then I will release the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:

54 з а да понасяш безчестието си и да се срамуваш за всичко, което си извършила, като си станала утеха за тях.

that thou may bear thine own shame and may be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.

55 К огато сестрите ти, Содом и дъщерите ѝ, се върнат в предишното си състояние и Самария и дъщерите ѝ се върнат в предишното си състояние, тогава ще се върнеш и ти и дъщерите ти в предишното си състояние.

When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters shall return to their first state, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their first state, thou and thy daughters shall return to your first state.

56 З ащото в дните на гордостта ти името на сестра ти Содом не се чуваше от устата ти,

Sodom, thy sister was not mentioned by thy mouth in the time of thy pride,

57 п реди да се открие твоето нечестие, както се откри във времето, когато те укоряваха сирийските дъщери и всички около тях, и филистимските дъщери, които те презираха отвред.

before thy wickedness discovered itself, as at the time of the reproach of the daughters of Syria and of all the daughters of the Philistines round about, who despise thee in everything.

58 Т и трябва да понесеш наказанието за разврата и мерзостите си, казва Господ.

Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, said the LORD.

59 З ащото така казва Господ Йехова: Аз ще постъпя с тебе, както постъпи ти, която си презряла клетвата и нарушила завета.

For thus hath the Lord GOD said: Will I deal with thee even as thou hast done, despising the oath to invalidate the covenant?

60 О баче, ще помня завета Си, сключен с тебе в дните на младостта ти, и ще ти утвърдя вечен завет.

¶ Nevertheless I will remember my covenant that I made with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will confirm unto thee an everlasting covenant.

61 Т огава ще си спомниш за пътищата си и ще се засрамиш, когато приемеш сестрите си, по-големите и по-малките; и ще ти ги дам за дъщери, но не според завета Ми с теб.

Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.

62 А Моя завет с тебе ще утвърдя; и ще познаеш, че Аз съм Господ.

And I will confirm my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:

63 З а да си спомниш и да се засрамиш, и да не отвориш вече устата си от срам, когато ти простя за всичко, което си сторила, казва Господ Йехова.

that thou may remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, said the Lord GOD.
