1 П ри това Господнето слово дойде към мен и казваше:

¶ And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 А ти, сине човешки, слушай - така казва Господ Йехова към Израелевата земя: Край! Краят дойде по четирите краища на страната.

and thou son of man, thus hath the Lord GOD said unto the land of Israel: The end, the end comes upon the four corners of the land.

3 С ега краят е дошъл върху тебе; защото ще изпратя гнева Си върху тебе, ще те съдя според постъпките ти и ще възвърна върху тебе всичките ти мерзости.

Now shall be the end upon thee, and I will send my anger upon thee and will judge thee according to thy ways and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

4 О кото Ми няма да те пощади, нито ще ти покажа милост; а ще върна върху тебе постъпките ти и въздаянията ти за твоите мерзости ще бъдат сред теб; и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

And my eye shall not forgive thee, neither will I have mercy; but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

5 Т ака казва Господ Бог Йехова: Зло, едно небивало зло, ето, идва.

Thus hath the Lord GOD said: An evil, behold, an evil is come.

6 К раят дойде, краят дойде, бди против теб; ето, настъпи.

An end is come, the end is come; it watches for thee; behold, it is come.

7 П рисъдата ти дойде върху тебе, който живееш в тази земя; времето дойде, денят наближи - ден на смущение по планините, а не на възклицание.

The morning comes for thee. O thou that dwellest in the land; the time comes, the day is near, the day of trouble, and it shall not be the echo of the mountains.

8 С ега скоро ще излея върху теб яростта Си и ще изчерпя гнева Си върху тебе; ще те съдя според постъпките ти и ще възвърна върху тебе всичките ти мерзости.

Now I will shortly pour out my fury upon thee and accomplish my anger in thee; and I will judge thee according to thy ways and place all thine abominations upon thee.

9 О кото Ми няма да те пощади, нито ще покажа милост; ще ти въздам според постъпките ти и въздаянията за твоите мерзости ще бъдат сред теб; и вие ще познаете, че Аз, Който ви поразявам, съм Господ.

And my eye shall not forgive, neither will I have mercy; I will recompense thee according to thy ways, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smites.

10 Е то, денят, ето, идва! Твоята присъда се яви! Жезълът разцъфтя, гордостта поникна!

Behold the day, behold, it comes; the morning is gone forth; the rod has blossomed; pride has budded.

11 Н асилието порасна в тояга за беззаконието им; нищо няма да остане от тях, нито от това множество, нито от имота им; и няма да остане великолепие между тях.

Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; nothing shall remain of them, nor of their riches, nor of anything of theirs; neither shall there be lamentation for them.

12 В ремето дойде, денят наближи; който купува, да не се радва; и който продава, да не жали; защото има гняв върху цялото това множество.

The time is come, the day draws near; do not let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

13 З ащото продавачът няма да притежава отново продаденото от него, ако и да е останал жив; понеже видението относно цялото това множество няма да се отмени, нито някой ще се утвърди чрез беззаконния си живот.

For the seller shall not return to that which is sold although they remain alive, for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof and shall not be cancelled; neither shall any in the iniquity of his life strengthen himself.

14 З атръбиха и приготвиха всичко, но никой не отива на бой; защото Моят гняв е върху цялото това множество.

They shall blow the trumpet and make everything ready, but there shall be no one to go forth to the battle, for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

15 М ечът е вън, а морът и гладът - вътре; който е на нивата, ще умре от меч; а който е в града, глад и мор ще го погълнат.

The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within; he that is in the field shall die with the sword, and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

16 А онези от тях, които избегнат, като се избавят, ще бъдат по планините като гълъбите по долините - всички те плачещи, всеки за беззаконието си.

¶ And those that escape of them shall be upon the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, each one for his iniquity.

17 В сички ръце ще отслабват и всички колена ще станат като вода.

All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

18 Щ е се препашат с вретище и ужас ще ги покрие; срам ще има по лицата на всички и плешивост - по главите на всички тях.

They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and trembling shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

19 С реброто си ще хвърлят по улиците и златото им ще им бъде като нещо нечисто; среброто и златото им няма да могат да ги избавят в деня на гнева Господен; те няма да наситят душите си, нито да напълнят червата си; защото о тях се спънаха и паднаха в беззаконието си.

They shall cast their silver in the streets and their gold far from them their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD; they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels because it shall be the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

20 Г оспод постави славното Си украшение, за да се гордеят с него; но те направиха в него образите на своите мерзости, на омразните си идоли; затова Аз го превръщам в нещо нечисто за тях.

Because they turned the glory of his ornament into pride and made in her the images of their abominations of their statues; therefore I have set it far from them.

21 Щ е го предам в ръцете на чужденци за плячка и на нечестивите на земята - за разграбване; и те ще го омърсят;

And I gave it into the hands of the strangers for a prey and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.

22 и като отвърна лицето Си от тях, те ще омърсят светилището Ми и грабители ще влязат в него и ще го омърсят.

I will also turn my face from them, and they shall pollute my secret place, for the destroyers shall enter into it and defile it.

23 Н аправи верига; защото земята е пълна с кървави престъпления и градът е пълен с насилие.

¶ Make a chain, for the land is full of bloody judgments, and the city is full of violence.

24 З атова ще докарам най-злите от народите и те ще завладеят къщите им; ще направя да престане и гордостта на силните; и светите им места ще се омърсят.

Therefore I will bring the worst of all the Gentiles, and they shall possess their houses; I will also cause the arrogance of the strong to cease; and their sanctuaries shall be defiled.

25 П огибел идва; ще потърсят мир, но няма да има;

A cutting off comes, and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

26 б едствие след бедствие ще идва и слух след слух ще пристига; тогава ще поискат видение от пророк; но поуката ще се изгуби от свещеника и съветът - от старейшините.

Destruction shall come upon destruction, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then they shall seek an answer from the prophet, but the law shall perish from the priest and counsel from the elders.

27 Ц арят ще жалее, първенецът ще се облече в смайване и ръцете на народа на страната ще отслабват. Според постъпките им ще им направя и според заслугите им ще ги съдя; и ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ.

The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their judgments I will judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
