1 О свен това, братя мои, радвайте се в Господа. За мене не е досадно да ви пиша все същото, а за вас е безопасно.

¶ It remains, my brethren, that ye rejoice in the Lord. It does not bother me to write the same things to you, and for you it is safe.

2 П азете се от псетата, пазете се от злите работници, пазете се от лъжеобрязването;

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

3 з ащото ние сме обрязаните, които с Божия Дух се кланяме и се хвалим с Христос Исус, и не уповаваме на плътта.

For we are the circumcision, who serve God in spirit and glory in Christ Jesus, having no confidence in the flesh.

4 М акар че аз мога и на плътта да уповавам. Ако някой друг мисли, че може да уповава на плътта, то аз повече,

¶ Though I might also have reason to confide in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

5 о брязан в осмия ден, от Израелевия род, от Вениаминовото племе, евреин от евреи, спрямо закона фарисей,

Circumcised the eighth day, of the lineage of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;

6 п о ревност - гонител на църквата, по правдата, която е от закона - непорочен.

concerning zeal, a persecutor of the congregation; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

7 Н о това, което беше за мене придобивка, сметнах го като загуба заради Христос.

But those things which were gain to me, I counted loss for Christ.

8 А освен това всичко смятам като загуба заради това превъзходно нещо - познаването на моя Господ Христос Исус, за Когото изгубих всичко, и смятам всичко за измет, само Христос да придобия

And doubtless I even count all things as loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ

9 и да се намеря в Него, без да имам за своя правда онази, която е от закона, а онази, която е чрез вяра в Христос, т. е. правдата, която е от Бога въз основа на вяра,

¶ and be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

10 з а да позная Него, силата на Неговото възкресение и общението в Неговите страдания, като се уподобя на Него в смъртта Му,

That I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death,

11 з а да мога някак да достигна възкресението от мъртвите. Насърчение за съвършенство

if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

12 Н е че съм сполучил вече, нито съм станал вече съвършен; но се впускам в гонитба, дано уловя, защото и аз бях уловен от Христос Исус.

Not as though I had already attained it, either were already perfect, but I follow after, if I may lay hold of that for which I have also been laid hold of by the Christ, Jesus.

13 Б ратя, аз не смятам, че съм уловил, но едно правя - като забравям това, което е назад, и се простирам към това, което е напред,

Brethren, I do not reckon to have laid hold of it yet, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and extending myself unto those things which are ahead,

14 в пускам се към прицелната точка за наградата на горното призвание от Бога в Христос Исус.

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15 И така, ние, които сме зрели, нека мислим така; и ако вие мислите нещо по друг начин, Бог ще ви открие и него.

¶ Let us, therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded; and if in anything ye are otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

16 С амо нека да живеем според това, в което сме достигнали и да мислим същото.

Nevertheless, in that unto which we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us have the same mind.

17 Б ратя, бъдете всички подражатели на мен и внимавайте в тези, които живеят така, както имате пример в нас.

¶ Brethren, be imitators of me and consider those who so walk, as ye have us for a pattern.

18 З ащото мнозина, за които много пъти съм ви казвал, а сега и с плач ви казвам, живеят като врагове на Христовия кръст;

(For many walk, of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ;

19 ч иято сетнина е погибел, чийто бог е коремът и чието хвалене е в това, което е срамно, които отдават ума си на земните неща.

whose end shall be perdition, whose God is their belly and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things).

20 З ащото нашето гражданство е на небесата, откъдето и очакваме Спасител - Господ Исус Христос,

For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

21 К ойто ще преобрази нашето унизено тяло, за да стане съобразно с Неговото славно тяло, според действието на силата Си да покори и всичко на Себе Си.

Who shall transform our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is also able to subdue all things unto himself.
