1 С тани, святи, защото светлина дойде за теб и славата Господня те осия.

¶ Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

2 З ащото, ето, тъмнина ще покрие земята и мрак - племената; а над тебе ще осияе Господ и славата Му ще ти се яви.

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

3 Н ародите ще дойдат при светлината ти и царете - при бляскавата ти зора.

And the Gentiles shall walk to thy light, and the kings to the brightness of thy birth.

4 В дигни наоколо очите си и виж: те всички се събират, идват при тебе; синовете ти ще дойдат отдалеч и дъщерите ти ще бъдат носени на ръце.

Lift up thine eyes round about and see: they all gather themselves together; they come to thee; thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

5 Т огава ще видиш и ще се зарадваш, и сърцето ти ще затрепти и ще се разшири; защото изобилието на морето ще се обърне към теб, имотът на народите ще дойде при тебе.

Then thou shall see, and thou shall shine, and thine heart shall marvel, and be enlarged because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the strength of the Gentiles shall have come unto thee.

6 М ножеството камили ще те покрият - мадиамските и гефаските камилчета; те всички ще дойдат от Сава; злато и тамян ще донесат и ще прогласят хваленията Господни.

The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.

7 В сички кидарски стада ще се съберат при тебе; навайотските овни ще служат за тебе; ще се принасят на жертвеника Ми за благоугодна жертва; и Аз ще прославя славния Си дом.

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, rams of Nebaioth shall be served unto thee: they shall be offered up with grace upon my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

8 К ои са тези, които летят като облаци и като гълъби към прозорците си?

Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

9 Е то, островите ще Ме чакат, с тарсийските кораби начело, за да доведат отдалеч синовете ти заедно със среброто им и златото им, заради името на Господа, твоя Бог, и за Святия Израелев, защото те прослави.

¶ For the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish from the first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, who has glorified thee.

10 Ч ужденците ще съградят стените ти и царете им ще ти служат; защото в гнева Си те поразих, но в благоволението Си ти показах милост.

And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall serve thee; for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my good favour I shall have mercy on thee.

11 П ортите ти ще бъдат винаги отворени, няма да се затворят нито денем, нито нощем, за да се внася в теб имотът на народите и да се довеждат царете им.

Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that the strength of the Gentiles may be brought unto thee, and their kings guided.

12 З ащото онзи народ и царство, които не биха ти служили, ще загинат; онези народи дори съвсем ще бъдат съсипани.

For the people or the kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish and shall be utterly wasted.

13 С лавата на Ливан ще дойде при теб, елха, явор и кипарис заедно, за да украсят мястото на светилището Ми и за да прославят мястото на нозете Ми.

The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will honour the place of my feet.

14 О нези, които са те угнетявали, ще дойдат наведени пред теб. И всички, които са те презирали, ще се поклонят до стъпалата на краката ти и ще те наричат град Господен, Сион на Святия Израелев.

The sons also of those that afflicted thee shall come humbled unto thee; and at the steps of thy feet all those that despised thee shall bow themselves down; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15 В место това, където ти беше оставен и намразен, така че никой не минаваше през теб, Аз ще те направя вечно величие, радост за много поколения.

¶ Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will place thee in eternal glory, in joy from generation to generation.

16 Щ е сучеш млякото на народите. Да! Ще се храниш от гърдите на царете; и ще познаеш, че Аз, Йехова, съм твоят Спасител и твоят Изкупител, Мощният Яковов.

Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of the kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

17 В место мед ще донеса злато и вместо желязо ще донеса сребро, вместо дърво - мед, и вместо камъни - желязо; също ще направя мирът да бъде твой надзирател и правдата - твое началство.

For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for the stones iron; I will also put peace in the place of thy government, and righteousness in the place of thine oppressors.

18 Н яма вече да се чува насилие в земята ти, опустошение и разорение - в пределите ти; а ще наречеш стените си Спасение и портите си - Хвала.

Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Saving Health and thy gates Praise.

19 С лънцето няма да ти бъде вече светлина денем, нито луната в сиянието си ще ти свети; а Господ ще ти бъде вечна светлина и твоят Бог - твоя слава.

The sun shall no longer be thy light by day; nor shall the moon give light unto thee for brightness; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light and thy God thy glory.

20 С лънцето ти няма вече да залезе, нито луната ти ще се скрие; защото Господ ще ти бъде вечна светлина и дните на жалеенето ти ще се свършат.

Thy sun shall set no more; neither shall thy moon wane: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

21 Т воят народ - всички ще бъдат праведни; земята ще им бъде вечно наследство; те са клонче, което Аз съм посадил, дело на Моите ръце, за да се прославям.

And thy people shall all be righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever; they shall be shoots of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

22 Н ай-малобройният ще стане хиляда и най-малкият - силен народ; Аз, Господ, ще ускоря това на времето му.

The small one shall be as a thousand; the youngest as a strong nation; I the LORD will hasten it in its time.
