1 И Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

¶ And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 С ине човешки, пророкувай против Израелевите пророци, които пророкуват, и кажи на онези, които пророкуват от своето си сърце: Слушайте словото Господне.

Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy and say unto those that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD:

3 Т ака казва Господ Йехова: Горко на глупавите пророци, които се водят по своя си дух, без да са видели някое видение!

thus hath the Lord GOD said: Woe unto the foolish prophets that follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!

4 И зраелю, твоите пророци са като лисици в развалините.

O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

5 В ие не се изкачихте в проломите, нито издигнахте ограда за Израелевия дом, за да устои в боя в деня Господен.

Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

6 О нези видяха суети и лъжливи предсказания, които казват: Господ говори, когато Господ не ги е пратил, и които направиха хората да се надяват, че думата им щяла да се изпълни.

They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD has not sent them, and they have made others to wait for the word to be confirmed.

7 Н е видяхте ли суетни видения и не говорихте ли лъжливи предсказания, когато казвате: Господ каза, при все че не съм говорил?

Have ye not seen a vain vision and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD hath said it; albeit I have not spoken?

8 З атова така казва Господ Йехова: Понеже говорихте суети и видяхте лъжи, затова, ето, Аз съм против вас, казва Господ Йехова.

Therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies; therefore, behold, I am against you, said the Lord GOD.

9 И ръката Ми ще бъде против пророците, които гледат суети и предсказват лъжи; те няма да бъдат в съвета на народа Ми, нито ще бъдат записани в списъка на Израелевия дом, нито ще влязат в Израелевата земя; и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ Йехова.

And my hand shall be against the prophets that see vanity and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the book of the house of Israel, neither shall they return to the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

10 П онеже, да! Понеже измамиха народа Ми, като казваха: Мир! А пък няма мир; и когато някои градеха една слабичка стена, ето, те я мажеха с кал;

¶ Therefore and because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up the wall, and, behold, others plastered it with loose mud:

11 к ажи на онези, които я мажат с кал, че ще падне, понеже ще вали пороен дъжд и ти, голяма каменна градушка, ще паднеш върху нея, и бурен вятър ще я съсипе.

say unto those who plaster it with loose mud, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing rain; and I shall send great hailstones that will cause it to fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

12 Е то, когато падне стената, няма ли да ви кажат: Къде е калта, с която мазахте?

And behold, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the mud with which ye have plastered it?

13 З атова така казва Господ Йехова: Непременно ще я съсипя в яростта Си с бурен вятър, в гнева Ми ще вали пороен дъжд и в яростта Ми ще падне голяма градушка от камъни, за да я разруша.

Therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said: I will cause a stormy wind to rend it in my fury; and there shall come an overflowing rain in my anger and great hailstones in my wrath to consume it.

14 Т ака ще съборя стената, която измазахте с кал, и така ще я съсипя на земята, че ще се открият основите ѝ; тя ще падне и вие ще загинете сред нея; и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

So I will break down the wall that ye have plastered with loose mud and bring it down to the ground, and its foundation shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

15 Т ака ще изчерпя яростта Си върху стената и върху онези, които са я измазали с кал, и ще ви кажа: Няма я стената, нито онези, които я измазаха, а именно -

Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall and upon those that have plastered it with loose mud and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither those that plastered it;

16 И зраелевите пророци, които пророкуват за Йерусалим и които виждат видения на мир за него, когато няма мир, казва Господ Йехова.

to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, said the Lord GOD.

17 И ти, сине човешки, насочи лицето си и против дъщерите на народа си, които пророкуват от своето си сърце; и пророкувай против тях, като кажеш:

¶ Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who prophesy out of their own heart; prophesy thou against them,

18 Т ака казва Господ Йехова: Горко на жените, които пришиват възглавнички на всеки лакът и правят покривала за главите на лица от всякакъв ръст, за да ловят души! Ще ловите ли душите на народа Ми и ще пазите ли души живи за себе си?

And say, Thus hath the Lord GOD said; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Must ye hunt the souls of my people to maintain thus your own life?

19 К ато лъжете народа Ми, който слуша лъжи, ще Ме оскверните ли между народа Ми за шепи ечемик и късчета хляб, за да убивате души, които не трябваше да умрат, и да опазите живи души, които не трябваше да живеят?

And will ye profane me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, slaying the souls that should not die and giving life to the souls that should not live, by your lying to my people that listen to the lie?

20 З атова така казва Господ Йехова: Ето, Аз съм против възглавничките ви, с които ловите души като птици; ще ги отдера от мишниците ви и ще оставя да избягат душите - душите, които вие ловите като птици.

Therefore thus hath the Lord GOD said; Behold, I am against your pillows, with which ye hunt there the loose souls, and I will tear them from your arms and will let the souls go, even the loose souls that ye hunt.

21 Щ е раздера и покривалата ви и ще избавя народа Си от ръката ви, и няма вече да бъдат в ръката ви за лов; и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

Your kerchiefs also I will tear and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall no longer be in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

22 З ащото с лъжите оскърбихте сърцето на праведния, когото Аз не оскърбих; и укрепихте ръцете на злодея, така че да не се върне от нечестивия си път, за да се спаси животът му.

Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and ye strengthen the hands of the wicked that he should not leave his wicked way, encouraging him:

23 З атова няма вече да виждате суети, нито ще предсказвате вече предсказания; и ще избавя народа Си от ръката ви; и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

therefore ye shall not see vanity, nor divine divinations any longer: for I will deliver my people out of your hand; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
