1 Я о помощи взывал к Богу; я взывал к Богу, и Он услышал меня.

To the Overseer, for Jeduthun. -- A Psalm of Asaph. My voice to God, and I cry, my voice to God, And He hath given ear unto me.

2 В день бедствия моего искал я Владыку; всю ночь напролет я простирал руки мои. Душа моя не могла найти утешения.

In a day of my distress the Lord I sought, My hand by night hath been spread out, And it doth not cease, My soul hath refused to be comforted.

3 Я вспомнил о Тебе, Боже, и застонал; я размышлял, и изнемогал дух мой. Пауза

I remember God, and make a noise, I meditate, and feeble is my spirit. Selah.

4 Т ы не давал мне сомкнуть глаз; я был ошеломлен и не мог говорить.

Thou hast taken hold of the watches of mine eyes, I have been moved, and I speak not.

5 Я думал о днях древних, о годах давних.

I have reckoned the days of old, The years of the ages.

6 В споминал ночью песни свои, размышлял в сердце своем и духом своим испытывал:

I remember my music in the night, With my heart I meditate, and my spirit doth search diligently:

7 н еужели Владыка навсегда отверг нас и больше не будет милостив?

To the ages doth the Lord cast off? Doth He add to be pleased no more?

8 Н авсегда ли исчезла Его милость, и навек ли пресеклось слово Его?

Hath His kindness ceased for ever? The saying failed to all generations?

9 З абыл ли Бог миловать, удержал ли в гневе любовь Свою? Пауза

Hath God forgotten favours? Hath He shut up in anger His mercies? Selah.

10 И сказал я: «Вот боль моя – Всевышний более не заступается за нас».

And I say: `My weakness is, The changes of the right hand of the Most High.'

11 Б уду вспоминать о делах Господа; буду помнить чудеса Твои древние.

I mention the doings of Jah, For I remember of old Thy wonders,

12 Я буду размышлять о всех делах Твоих, о деяниях Твоих думать.

And I have meditated on all Thy working, And I talk concerning Thy doings.

13 Т вой путь, Боже, свят! Какой бог так велик, как наш Бог?

O God, in holiness Thy way, Who a great god like God?

14 Т ы – Бог, чудеса творящий; Ты явил Свое могущество среди народов.

Thou the God doing wonders. Thou hast made known among the peoples Thy strength,

15 Р укой Своей Ты спас народ Твой – сынов Иакова и Иосифа. Пауза

Thou hast redeemed with strength Thy people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16 Т ебя увидели воды, Боже, Тебя увидели воды и испугались, содрогнулись бездны.

The waters have seen Thee, O God, The waters have seen Thee, They are afraid -- also depths are troubled.

17 Т учи излили воды, небо разразилось громом, и стрелы Твои летали.

Poured out waters have thick clouds, The skies have given forth a noise, Also -- Thine arrows go up and down.

18 Р аскаты грома Твоего были в вихре, и молнии озарили вселенную; земля содрогалась и тряслась.

The voice of Thy thunder in the spheres, Lightnings have lightened the world, The earth hath trembled, yea, it shaketh.

19 П уть Твой пролегал через море, и тропа Твоя – через воды глубокие, хотя следов Твоих не было видно.

In the sea Thy way, And Thy paths in many waters, And Thy tracks have not been known.

20 К ак стадо, вел Ты Свой народ рукою Моисея и Аарона.

Thou hast led as a flock Thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron!
