1 М анассии было двенадцать лет, когда он стал царем, и правил он в Иерусалиме пятьдесят пять лет. Его мать звали Хефциба.

A son of twelve years Manasseh in his reigning, and fifty and five years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother Hephzi-Bah;

2 О н делал зло в глазах Господа, следуя омерзительным обычаям народов, которых Господь прогнал от израильтян.

and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, according to the abominations of the nations that Jehovah dispossessed from the presence of the sons of Israel,

3 О н отстроил святилища на возвышенностях, которые разрушил его отец Езекия, воздвиг жертвенники Баалу и сделал столб Ашеры, по примеру Ахава, царя Израиля. Он поклонялся всему небесному воинству и служил ему,

and he turneth and buildeth the high places that Hezekiah his father destroyed, and raiseth altars for Baal, and maketh a shrine, as did Ahab king of Israel, and boweth himself to all the host of the heavens, and serveth them.

4 п остроил жертвенники в доме Господа, о котором Господь сказал: «В Иерусалиме Я положу Мое Имя».

And he hath built altars in the house of Jehovah, of which Jehovah said, `In Jerusalem I put My name.'

5 В обоих дворах дома Господа он построил жертвенники всему небесному воинству.

And he buildeth altars to all the host of the heavens in the two courts of the house of Jehovah;

6 О н принес сына в огненную жертву, гадал и ворожил, и общался с вызывателями мертвых и волшебниками. Он сделал много зла в глазах Господа, вызывая Его гнев.

and he hath caused his son to pass through fire, and observed clouds, and used enchantment, and dealt with a familiar spirit and wizards; he hath multiplied to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah -- to provoke to anger.

7 О н взял резной столб Ашеры, который сделал, и поставил его в доме, о котором Господь говорил Давиду и его сыну Соломону: «В этом доме и в Иерусалиме, который Я избрал среди всех родов Израиля, Я положу Мое Имя навеки.

And he setteth the graven image of the shrine that he made in the house of which Jehovah said unto David and unto Solomon his son, `In this house, and in Jerusalem, that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I put My name -- to the age;

8 Я не дам впредь ногам израильтян выйти из той земли, которую Я дал их отцам, если только они будут исполнять все, что Я повелел им, и соблюдать Закон, который дал им Мой слуга Моисей».

and I do not add to cause the foot of Israel to move from the ground that I gave to their fathers, only, if they observe to do according to all that I commanded them, and to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.'

9 Н о народ не послушал. Манассия сбил их с пути, и они стали делать больше зла, чем те народы, которых Господь истребил перед израильтянами.

And they have not hearkened, and Manasseh causeth them to err, to do the evil thing above the nations that Jehovah destroyed from the presence of the sons of Israel.

10 Г осподь говорил через Своих слуг пророков:

And Jehovah speaketh by the hand of his servants the prophets, saying,

11 – Манассия, царь Иудеи, совершил омерзительные грехи. Он сделал больше зла, чем аморреи, которые были перед ним, и ввел Иудею в грех своими идолами.

`Because that Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations -- he hath done evil above all that the Amorites have done who before him, and causeth also Judah to sin by his idols;

12 П оэтому так говорит Господь, Бог Израиля: «Я наведу на Иерусалим и Иудею такую беду, что у того, кто услышит о ней, зазвенит в ушах.

therefore thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, Lo, I am bringing in evil on Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever heareth of it, tingle do his two ears.

13 Я отмерю наказание Иерусалиму, так же, как отмерил Самарии, и буду пользоваться такой же мерой праведности, как для дома Ахава. Я вытру Иерусалим, как вытирают блюдо – вытирают и переворачивают.

And I have stretched out over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab, and wiped Jerusalem as one wipeth the dish -- he hath wiped, and hath turned on its face.

14 Я покину оставшихся от Моего наследия и отдам их в руки врагов. Все их враги будут обирать их и грабить,

`And I have left the remnant of Mine inheritance, and given them into the hand of their enemies, and they have been for a prey and for a spoil to all their enemies,

15 п отому что они делали зло в Моих глазах и вызывали Мой гнев с того дня, как их отцы вышли из Египта, по сегодняшний день».

because that they have done the evil thing in Mine eyes, and are provoking Me to anger from the day that their fathers came out of Egypt, even unto this day.'

16 М анассия пролил столько безвинной крови, что наполнил Иерусалим от края до края, – и это не считая греха, к которому он склонил Иудею, чтобы они делали зло в глазах Господа.

And also, innocent blood hath Manasseh shed very much, till that he hath filled Jerusalem -- mouth to mouth; apart from his sin that he hath caused Judah to sin, to do the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah.

17 П рочие события правления Манассии и все, что он сделал, и грех, который он совершил, то разве не записаны они в «Книге летописей царей Иудеи?

And the rest of the matters of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?

18 М анассия упокоился со своими предками и был похоронен в саду своего дворца, в саду Уззы. И Амон, его сын, стал царем вместо него. Амон – царь Иудеи (2 Пар. 33: 21-25)

And Manasseh lieth with his fathers, and is buried in the garden of his house, in the garden of Uzza, and reign doth Amon his son in his stead.

19 А мону было двадцать два года, когда он стал царем, и правил он в Иерусалиме два года. Его мать звали Мешуллемет, она была дочерью Харуца, родом из Иотбы.

A son of twenty and two years Amon in his reigning, and two years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz of Jotbah,

20 А мон делал зло в глазах Господа, как и его отец Манассия.

and he doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, as did Manasseh his father,

21 О н ходил всеми путями своего отца, служил идолам, которым служил его отец, и поклонялся им.

and walketh in all the way that his father walked in, and serveth the idols that his father served, and boweth himself to them,

22 О н оставил Господа, Бога его отцов, и не ходил путем Господа.

and forsaketh Jehovah, God of his fathers, and hath not walked in the way of Jehovah.

23 П риближенные Амона составили против него заговор и убили царя в его дворце.

And the servants of Amon conspire against him, and put the king to death in his own house,

24 Н о народ страны перебил всех, кто был в заговоре против царя Амона, и сделал царем вместо него его сына Иосию.

and the people of the land smite all those conspiring against king Amon, and the people of the land cause Josiah his son to reign in his stead.

25 Ч то же до прочих деяний Амона, то разве не записаны они в «Книге летописей царей Иудеи»?

And the rest of the matters of Amon that he did, are they not written on the book of the Chronicles of the kings of Judah?

26 Е го похоронили в его гробнице в саду Уззы. И Иосия, его сын, стал царем вместо него.

and burieth him in his burying-place in the garden of Uzza, and reign doth Josiah his son in his stead.
