1 Т рубите в рог на Сионе, бейте тревогу на Моей святой горе. Пусть трепещут все жители земли, потому что наступает день Господень. Этот день уже близок:

Blow ye a trumpet in Zion, And shout ye in My holy hill, Tremble do all inhabitants of the earth, For coming is the day of Jehovah, for near!

2 д ень тьмы и мрака, день туч и мглы: подобно утренней заре распространяется по горам многочисленный и сильный народ. Такого не бывало с древних времен и не будет в грядущих поколениях.

A day of darkness and thick darkness, A day of cloud and thick darkness, As darkness spread on the mountains, A people numerous and mighty, Like it there hath not been from of old, And after it there is not again -- till the years of generation and generation.

3 П еред ними – пожирающее пламя, а позади – опаляющий огонь. До них земля – как Эдемский сад, а после них – как выжженная пустыня, и никому не будет спасения от этого народа.

Before it consumed hath fire, And after it burn doth a flame, As the garden of Eden the land before it, And after it a wilderness -- a desolation! And also an escape there hath not been to it,

4 О ни похожи на лошадей, и несутся словно конница.

As the appearance of horses its appearance, And as horsemen, so they run.

5 С качут они по вершинам гор с шумом, как от колесниц, с треском, как от пожирающего солому пламени. Они как могучий народ, готовящийся к битве.

As the noise of chariots, on the tops of the mountains they skip, As the noise of a flame of fire devouring stubble, As a mighty people set in array for battle.

6 П ри виде воинов этой армии затрепещут народы, и у всех побледнеют лица.

From its face pained are peoples, All faces have gathered paleness.

7 О ни нападают подобно бойцам, взбираются на стены подобно воинам. Все они выступают ровно, не отклоняясь от выбранного направления.

As mighty ones they run, As men of war they go up a wall, And each in his own ways they do go, And they embarrass not their paths.

8 О ни не толкают друг друга, и каждый идет своей дорогой; прорываются сквозь оборону, не нарушая строя.

And each his brother they press not, Each in his way they go on, If by the missile they fall, they are not cut off.

9 О ни врываются в город, пробегают вдоль стен, забираются в дома через окна, как воры.

In the city they run to and fro, On the wall they run, Into houses they go up by the windows, They go in as a thief.

10 П еред ними трепещет земля и колеблется небо, меркнут солнце и луна и не сияют звезды.

At their face trembled hath the earth, Shaken have the heavens, Sun and moon have been black, And stars have gathered up their shining.

11 П одобно грому прозвучит голос Господень перед Его войском. Его армия бесчисленна, и сильны исполнители Его воли. Велик день Господень и очень страшен. Кто выдержит его? Призыв к покаянию

And Jehovah hath given forth His voice before His force, For very great His camp, For mighty the doer of His word, For great the day of Jehovah -- very fearful, And who doth bear it?

12 – Даже сейчас, – возвещает Господь, – обратитесь ко Мне всем сердцем в посте, плаче и рыдании.

And also now -- an affirmation of Jehovah, Turn ye back unto Me with all your heart, And with fasting, and with weeping, And with lamentation.

13 Р азорвите ваши сердца, а не одежды и вернитесь к Господу, вашему Богу, потому что Он милостив и милосерден, долготерпелив и богат любовью, и не хочет насылать бедствие.

And rend your heart, and not your garments, And turn back unto Jehovah your God, For gracious and merciful He, Slow to anger, and abundant in kindness, And He hath repented concerning the evil.

14 К то знает, не сжалится ли Он и не оставит ли вам благословения – и будут в достатке у вас хлебное приношение и жертвенное возлияние Господу, вашему Богу.

Who knoweth -- He doth turn back, Yea -- He hath repented, And He hath left behind Him a blessing, A present and libation of Jehovah your God?

15 Т рубите в рог на Сионе, объявите священный пост, созовите собрание.

Blow ye a trumpet in Zion, Sanctify a fast -- proclaim a restraint.

16 С оберите народ и освятите собравшихся, созовите старцев, позовите детей и младенцев. Пусть даже жених и невеста выйдут из брачных покоев.

Gather the people, sanctify an assembly, Assemble the aged, Gather infants and sucklings of the breasts, Go out let a bridegroom from his inner chamber, And a bride out of her closet.

17 П усть священники, служащие перед Господом плачут между притвором храма и жертвенником. Пусть взывают: «Господи, пощади Свой народ! Не дай насмехаться над Своим наследием, не дай чужим народам править нами. Зачем им говорить: “Где их Бог?”» Ответ Господа

Between the porch and the altar weep let the priests, ministrants of Jehovah, And let them say: `Have pity, O Jehovah, on Thy people, And give not Thy inheritance to reproach, To the ruling over them of nations, Why do they say among peoples, Where their God?'

18 И тогда Господь возревнует о Своей земле и сжалится над Своим народом.

And let Jehovah be zealous for His land, And have pity on His people.

19 О твечая Своему народу, Господь скажет: – Я посылаю вам хлеб, молодое вино и масло для того, чтобы вы насытились, и больше Я не позволю другим народам насмехаться над вами.

Let Jehovah answer and say to His people, `Lo, I am sending to you the corn, And the new wine, and the oil, And ye have been satisfied with it, And I make you no more a reproach among nations,

20 Я удалю от вас северное войско и изгоню это войско в землю бесплодную и иссушенную зноем. Его передние ряды Я сброшу в восточное море, а задние – в западное море. И пойдет от них зловоние, и поднимется от них смрад, потому что они сделали много зла.

And the northern I put far off from you, And have driven him unto a land dry and desolate, With his face unto the eastern sea, And his rear unto the western sea, And come up hath his stink, And come up doth his stench, For he hath exerted himself to work.

21 Н е бойся, земля, радуйся и веселись, потому что Господь совершил великие дела!

Do not fear, O land! joy and rejoice, For Jehovah hath exerted Himself to work.

22 Н е бойтесь, дикие животные, потому что зеленеют степные пастбища, деревья приносят свои плоды, инжир и виноградная лоза одаривают обильными плодами.

Do not fear, O cattle of the field! For sprung forth have pastures of a wilderness, For the tree hath borne its fruit, Fig-tree and vine have given their strength!

23 Р адуйся, народ Сиона, веселись о Господе, твоем Боге! Он даст тебе осенний дождь в праведности. Он пошлет тебе обильные дожди, осенние и весенние, как бывало прежде.

And ye sons of Zion, joy and rejoice, In Jehovah your God, For He hath given to you the Teacher for righteousness, And causeth to come down to you a shower, Sprinkling and gathered -- in the beginning.

24 И наполнятся гумна зерном, и переполнятся давильни молодым вином и маслом.

And full have been the floors pure corn, And overflown have the presses new wine and oil.

25 – Я воздам вам за те годы, – отвечает Господь, – в которые пожирала урожай подбирающая саранча, грызущая, поедающая и пожирающая саранча. Это было Мое великое воинство, которое Я послал на вас.

And I have recompensed to you the years That consume did the locust, the cankerworm, And the caterpillar, and the palmer-worm, My great force that I did send against you.

26 Д осыта будете есть и насыщаться, и славить Имя Господа, вашего Бога, Который совершил чудеса для вас. И Мой народ больше не испытает позора.

And ye have eaten, eating and being satisfied, And have praised the name of Jehovah your God, Who hath dealt with you wonderfully, And not ashamed are My people to the age.

27 Т огда вы узнаете, что Я среди Моего народа Израиля, и что Я – Господь, ваш Бог, и нет другого. И Мой народ больше не испытает позора! Излияние Духа в день Господа

And ye have known that in the midst of Israel I, And I Jehovah your God, and there is none else, And not ashamed are My people to the age.

28 – И после этого Я изолью Духа Моего на всех людей. Ваши сыновья и дочери будут пророчествовать, вашим старцам будут сниться сны и ваши юноши будут видеть видения.

And it hath come to pass afterwards, I do pour out My Spirit on all flesh, And prophesied have your sons and your daughters, Your old men do dream dreams, Your young men do see visions.

29 Н а слуг и на служанок Моих Я изолью в те дни Моего Духа.

And also on the men-servants, and on the maid-servants, In those days I do pour out My Spirit.

30 Я покажу чудеса на небесах и на земле: кровь, огонь и клубы дыма.

And I have given wonders in the heavens, and in the earth, Blood and fire, and columns of smoke.

31 С олнце превратится во тьму, а луна – в кровь перед тем, как наступит великий и славный день Господа.

The sun is turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, Before the coming of the day of Jehovah, The great and the fearful.

32 И каждый, кто призовет Имя Господа, будет спасен. На горе Сионе и в Иерусалиме, будет спасение, как сказал Господь, – спасение для уцелевших, кого Господь призовет.

And it hath come to pass, Every one who calleth in the name of Jehovah is delivered, For in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there is an escape, As Jehovah hath said, And among the remnants whom Jehovah is calling!
