1 П риближался праздник Пресных хлебов, называемый Пасхой.

And the feast of the unleavened food was coming nigh, that is called Passover,

2 П ервосвященники и учители Закона искали способа разделаться с Иисусом так, чтобы не вызвать возмущения народа. Иуда решает предать Иисуса (Мат. 26: 14-16; Мк. 14: 10-11)

and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they may take him up, for they were afraid of the people.

3 Т огда сатана вошел в Иуду, которого называли Искариотом, одного из числа двенадцати.

And the Adversary entered into Judas, who is surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve,

4 И уда пошел и поговорил с первосвященниками и с начальниками храмовой стражи о том, как ему предать им Иисуса.

and he, having gone away, spake with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might deliver him up to them,

5 Т е обрадовались и обещали заплатить ему.

and they rejoiced, and covenanted to give him money,

6 И уда согласился и стал искать удобного случая, когда с Иисусом не будет народа, чтобы предать Его. Приготовления учеников к Пасхе (Мат. 26: 17-19; Мк. 14: 12-16)

and he agreed, and was seeking a favourable season to deliver him up to them without tumult.

7 Н аступил день Пресных хлебов, когда следовало зарезать пасхального ягненка,

And the day of the unleavened food came, in which it was behoving the passover to be sacrificed,

8 и Иисус послал Петра и Иоанна с поручением: – Идите и приготовьте для нас пасхальный ужин.

and he sent Peter and John, saying, `Having gone on, prepare to us the passover, that we may eat;'

9 – Где Ты хочешь, чтобы мы его приготовили? – спросили они.

and they said to him, `Where wilt thou that we might prepare?'

10 О н ответил: – Когда вы войдете в город, то встретите человека, несущего кувшин с водой. Идите за ним в дом, куда он войдет,

And he said to them, `Lo, in your entering into the city, there shall meet you a man, bearing a pitcher of water, follow him to the house where he doth go in,

11 и скажите хозяину дома: Учитель спрашивает тебя: «Где комната для гостей, в которой Я буду есть пасхальный ужин с Моими учениками?»

and ye shall say to the master of the house, The Teacher saith to thee, Where is the guest-chamber where the passover with my disciples I may eat?

12 О н вам покажет большую комнату наверху, в которой уже все подготовлено. Там и приготовьте ужин.

and he shall show you a large upper room furnished, there make ready;'

13 О ни пошли, и все произошло так, как им сказал Иисус, и они приготовили пасхальный ужин. Последний ужин Иисуса с учениками (Мат. 26: 20-29; Мк. 14: 17-25; 1 Кор. 11: 23-25)

and they, having gone away, found as he hath said to them, and they made ready the passover.

14 К огда подошло время, Иисус с учениками собрались у стола.

And when the hour come, he reclined (at meat), and the twelve apostles with him,

15 И исус сказал им: – Я очень хотел есть эту Пасху с вами перед Моими страданиями.

and he said unto them, `With desire I did desire to eat this passover with you before my suffering,

16 Г оворю вам, что Я уже не буду есть ее до тех пор, пока она не совершится в Царстве Бога.

for I say to you, that no more may I eat of it till it may be fulfilled in the reign of God.'

17 В зяв чашу и поблагодарив за нее Бога, Он сказал: – Возьмите ее и разделите между собой.

And having taken a cup, having given thanks, he said, `Take this and divide to yourselves,

18 Г оворю вам, что Я уже не буду пить от плода виноградного до тех пор, пока не придет Божье Царство.

for I say to you that I may not drink of the produce of the vine till the reign of God may come.'

19 З атем, взяв хлеб и поблагодарив за него Бога, Он разломил его и дал ученикам со словами: – Это Мое тело, отдаваемое за вас. Делайте это в воспоминание обо Мне.

And having taken bread, having given thanks, he brake and gave to them, saying, `This is my body, that for you is being given, this do ye -- to remembrance of me.'

20 Т акже взял и чашу после ужина и сказал: – Эта чаша – новый завет, скрепленный Моей кровью, которая за вас проливается.

In like manner, also, the cup after the supping, saying, `This cup the new covenant in my blood, that for you is being poured forth.

21 Н о рука того, кто предает Меня, на одном столе с Моей.

`But, lo, the hand of him delivering me up with me on the table,

22 С Сыном Человеческим все случится так, как было предназначено, но горе тому человеку, который предает Его.

and indeed the Son of Man doth go according to what hath been determined; but wo to that man through whom he is being delivered up.'

23 Т огда ученики начали спрашивать друг друга, кто из них мог бы совершить такое. Не господствуйте, но служите (Мат. 20: 25-28; 19: 28; Мк. 10: 42-45)

And they began to reason among themselves, who then of them it may be, who is about to do this thing.

24 П отом они начали спорить, кто из них должен считаться самым великим.

And there happened also a strife among them -- who of them is accounted to be greater.

25 И исус тогда сказал им: – Цари язычников господствуют над ними, правителей народа именуют «благодетелями»,

And he said to them, `The kings of the nations do exercise lordship over them, and those exercising authority upon them are called benefactors;

26 н о вы не будьте, как они. Напротив, пусть самый великий среди вас будет как самый меньший, и начальник – как слуга.

but ye not so, but he who is greater among you -- let him be as the younger; and he who is leading, as he who is ministering;

27 В едь кто важнее: тот, кто возлежит за столом, или тот, кто прислуживает? Разве не тот, кто возлежит? Я же среди вас как слуга.

for who is greater? he who is reclining (at meat), or he who is ministering? is it not he who is reclining (at meat)? and I -- I am in your midst as he who is ministering.

28 В ы были со Мной во всех Моих испытаниях,

`And ye -- ye are those who have remained with me in my temptations,

29 и как Мой Отец дал Мне царскую власть, так Я теперь даю ее вам,

and I appoint to you, as my Father did appoint to me, a kingdom,

30 ч тобы и вы могли есть и пить за Моим столом в Моем Царстве, и вы сядете на престолах судить двенадцать родов Израиля. Иисус предсказывает отречение Петра (Мат. 26: 33-35; Мк. 14: 29-31; Ин. 13: 37-38)

that ye may eat and may drink at my table, in my kingdom, and may sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.'

31 – Симон, Симон, сатана просил, чтобы все вы были рассеяны, как пшеница,

And the Lord said, `Simon, Simon, lo, the Adversary did ask you for himself to sift as the wheat,

32 н о Я молился о тебе, чтобы ты не потерял веру. И ты сам, когда обратишься ко Мне, укрепи своих братьев.

and I besought for thee, that thy faith may not fail; and thou, when thou didst turn, strengthen thy brethren.'

33 П етр ответил: – Господи, я готов идти с Тобой и в темницу, и на смерть!

And he said to him, `Sir, with thee I am ready both to prison and to death to go;'

34 Н о Иисус сказал: – Говорю тебе, Петр, не успеет и петух пропеть сегодня, как ты трижды откажешься от того, что знаешь Меня.

and he said, `I say to thee, Peter, a cock shall not crow to-day, before thrice thou mayest disown knowing me.'

35 П отом Иисус спросил их: – Когда Я посылал вас без кошелька, без сумки, без сандалий, нуждались ли вы в чем-либо? – Ни в чем, – ответили они.

And he said to them, `When I sent you without bag, and scrip, and sandals, did ye lack anything?' and they said, `Nothing.'

36 – Сейчас же, если у вас есть кошелек, возьмите его, возьмите и сумку, и если у вас нет меча, то продайте плащ, но купите меч.

Then said he to them, `But, now, he who is having a bag, let him take up, and in like manner also a scrip; and he who is not having, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword,

37 Г оворю вам, что со Мной должно исполниться сказанное в Писании: «Он был причислен к преступникам». Все, что обо Мне было написано, скоро исполнится.

for I say to you, that yet this that hath been written it behoveth to be fulfilled in me: And with lawless ones he was reckoned, for also the things concerning me have an end.'

38 У ченики сказали: – Смотри, Господи, у нас есть два меча. – Достаточно об этом, – ответил Иисус. Иисус молится на Масличной горе (Мат. 26: 36-46; Мк. 14: 32-42)

And they said, `Sir, lo, here two swords;' and he said to them, `It is sufficient.'

39 И исус, как обычно, пошел на Масличную гору, и Его ученики пошли с Ним.

And having gone forth, he went on, according to custom, to the mount of the Olives, and his disciples also followed him,

40 П ридя на место, Иисус сказал: – Молитесь, чтобы вам не поддаться искушению.

and having come to the place, he said to them, `Pray ye not to enter into temptation.'

41 О н отошел от них примерно на расстояние брошенного камня, опустился на колени и начал молиться:

And he was withdrawn from them, as it were a stone's cast, and having fallen on the knees he was praying,

42 – Отец, если Ты хочешь, пронеси эту чашу мимо Меня, но пусть все будет не по Моей воле, а по Твоей.

saying, `Father, if Thou be counselling to make this cup pass from me --; but, not my will, but Thine be done.' --

43 Т огда с небес Ему явился ангел и укреплял Его.

And there appeared to him a messenger from heaven strengthening him;

44 В муках Иисус стал молиться еще горячее, и сделался пот Его как капли крови, стекавшие на землю.

and having been in agony, he was more earnestly praying, and his sweat became, as it were, great drops of blood falling upon the ground.

45 К огда Он поднялся с молитвы и вернулся к ученикам, то нашел их спящими, потому что они были измучены печалью.

And having risen up from the prayer, having come unto the disciples, he found them sleeping from the sorrow,

46 – Почему вы спите? – спросил Иисус. – Вставайте и молитесь, чтобы вам не поддаться искушению. Иисус предан и арестован (Мат. 26: 47-56; Мк. 14: 43-50; Ин. 18: 3-11)

and he said to them, `Why do ye sleep? having risen, pray that ye may not enter into temptation.'

47 О н еще говорил, когда приблизилась толпа, во главе которой шел тот, кого звали Иудой, один из двенадцати учеников. Он подошел к Иисусу, чтобы поцеловать Его.

And while he is speaking, lo, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the twelve, was coming before them, and he came nigh to Jesus to kiss him,

48 И исус сказал: – Иуда, ты поцелуем предаешь Сына Человеческого?

and Jesus said to him, `Judas, with a kiss the Son of Man dost thou deliver up?'

49 К огда же те, кто был с Иисусом, увидели, что происходит, они спросили: – Господи, а что если нам ударить мечом?

And those about him, having seen what was about to be, said to him, `Sir, shall we smite with a sword?'

50 И один из них ударил слугу первосвященника и отсек ему правое ухо.

And a certain one of them smote the servant of the chief priest, and took off his right ear,

51 Н о Иисус сказал: – Прекратите, довольно! Он прикоснулся к уху слуги и исцелил его.

and Jesus answering said, `Suffer ye thus far,' and having touched his ear, he healed him.

52 З атем Иисус сказал первосвященникам, начальникам храмовой стражи и старейшинам, которые пришли за Ним: – Что Я, разбойник, что вы пришли с мечами и кольями?

And Jesus said to those having come upon him -- chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders -- `As upon a robber have ye come forth, with swords and sticks?

53 Я каждый день был с вами в храме, и вы не схватили Меня. Но сейчас ваше время, сейчас власть тьмы. Отречение Петра (Мат. 26: 67-75; Мк. 14: 66-72; Ин. 18: 15-18, 25-27)

while daily I was with you in the temple, ye did stretch forth no hands against me; but this is your hour and the power of the darkness.'

54 О ни схватили Его и повели в дом первосвященника. Петр шел за ними на некотором расстоянии.

And having taken him, they led and brought him to the house of the chief priest. And Peter was following afar off,

55 П осреди двора первосвященника разожгли костер, и Петр вместе с другими людьми сел к нему греться.

and they having kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and having sat down together, Peter was sitting in the midst of them,

56 О дна из служанок, увидев Петра в свете огня, пристально всмотрелась в него и сказала: – Этот человек тоже был с Ним.

and a certain maid having seen him sitting at the light, and having earnestly looked at him, she said, `And this one was with him!'

57 Н о Петр отрицал это. – Я не знаю Его, женщина, – сказал он.

and he disowned him, saying, `Woman, I have not known him.'

58 Н емного позже кто-то другой увидел его и сказал: – Ты тоже один из них. – Нет, друг, – ответил Петр.

And after a little, another having seen him, said, `And thou art of them!' and Peter said, `Man, I am not.'

59 П римерно час спустя еще кто-то стал утверждать: – Точно, этот человек тоже был с Ним, ведь он галилеянин.

And one hour, as it were, having intervened, a certain other was confidently affirming, saying, `Of a truth this one also was with him, for he is also a Galilean;'

60 Н о Петр сказал: – Я не знаю, о чем ты говоришь! И тотчас, когда он еще говорил, пропел петух.

and Peter said, `Man, I have not known what thou sayest;' and presently, while he is speaking, a cock crew.

61 Г осподь повернулся и посмотрел на Петра. Тогда Петр вспомнил слова Господа, как Он сказал ему: – Прежде, чем пропоет петух сегодня, ты трижды отречешься от Меня.

And the Lord having turned did look on Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him -- `Before a cock shall crow, thou mayest disown me thrice;'

62 И выйдя наружу, он горько заплакал.

and Peter having gone without, wept bitterly.

63 Л юди, охранявшие Иисуса, стали насмехаться над Ним и бить Его.

And the men who were holding Jesus were mocking him, beating;

64 О ни завязывали Ему глаза и требовали: – Пророчествуй! Кто Тебя ударил?

and having blindfolded him, they were striking him on the face, and were questioning him, saying, `Prophesy who he is who smote thee?'

65 И говорили Ему много других оскорблений. Совет религиозных вождей осуждает Иисуса (Мат. 26: 63-65; Мк. 14: 61-64; Ин. 18: 19-21)

and many other things, speaking evilly, they spake in regard to him.

66 Р ано утром старейшины народа, первосвященники и учители Закона собрались вместе на Совет. К ним ввели Иисуса.

And when it became day there was gathered together the eldership of the people, chief priests also, and scribes, and they led him up to their own sanhedrim,

67 – Если Ты Христос, то скажи нам прямо, – требовали они. Иисус ответил: – Если Я скажу вам, вы не поверите,

saying, `If thou be the Christ, tell us.' And he said to them, `If I may tell you, ye will not believe;

68 и если Я вас спрошу, вы Мне не ответите.

and if I also question, ye will not answer me or send me away;

69 О днако с этого времени Сын Человеческий будет сидеть по правую руку от Божьей силы.

henceforth, there shall be the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power of God.'

70 О ни все стали спрашивать: – Так Ты что, Сын Бога? Он ответил: – Вы сами говорите, что это Я.

And they all said, `Thou, then, art the Son of God?' and he said unto them, `Ye say, because I am;'

71 Т огда они сказали: – Какие нам еще нужны свидетельства? Мы слышали это из Его собственных уст!

and they said, `What need yet have we of testimony? for we ourselves did hear from his mouth.'
