1 А Иисус пошел на Масличную гору. Иисус прощает женщину, уличенную в супружеской измене

And at dawn he came again to the temple,

2 Р ано утром Он опять был в храме. Вокруг Него собралось много людей, и Он сел и стал их учить.

and all the people were coming unto him, and having sat down, he was teaching them;

3 У чители Закона и фарисеи привели женщину, уличенную в супружеской измене. Они поставили ее перед народом

and the scribes and the Pharisees bring unto him a woman having been taken in adultery, and having set her in the midst,

4 и сказали Иисусу: – Учитель, мы поймали эту женщину на месте преступления, она изменила мужу!

they say to him, `Teacher, this woman was taken in the very crime -- committing adultery,

5 М оисей повелевает в Законе побивать таких камнями. А Ты что скажешь?

and in the law, Moses did command us that such be stoned; thou, therefore, what dost thou say?'

6 О ни спросили это, чтобы найти повод уловить Иисуса в чем-либо и обвинить Его. Иисус склонился и писал пальцем на земле.

and this they said, trying him, that they might have to accuse him. And Jesus, having stooped down, with the finger he was writing on the ground,

7 О ни упрямо продолжали Его спрашивать. Тогда Иисус выпрямился и сказал: – Кто из вас без греха, пусть первым бросит в нее камень.

and when they continued asking him, having bent himself back, he said unto them, `The sinless of you -- let him first cast the stone at her;'

8 И Он опять, склонившись, продолжал писать на земле.

and again having stooped down, he was writing on the ground,

9 Т огда они начали по одному уходить, начиная с самых старших. В конце концов остались только Иисус и женщина.

and they having heard, and by the conscience being convicted, were going forth one by one, having begun from the elders -- unto the last; and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

10 И исус выпрямился и спросил: – Женщина, где твои обвинители? Разве никто не осудил тебя?

And Jesus having bent himself back, and having seen no one but the woman, said to her, `Woman, where are those -- thine accusers? did no one pass sentence upon thee?'

11 – Никто, Господин, – ответила она. – И Я тебя не осуждаю, – сказал Иисус. – Иди и больше не греши. Иисус – Свет миру

and she said, `No one, Sir;' and Jesus said to her, `Neither do I pass sentence on thee; be going on, and no more sin.'

12 К огда Иисус вновь заговорил с народом, Он сказал: – Я Свет миру. Тот, кто идет за Мной, не будет ходить во тьме, но будет иметь Свет жизни.

Again, therefore, Jesus spake to them, saying, `I am the light of the world; he who is following me shall not walk in the darkness, but he shall have the light of the life.'

13 Ф арисеи тогда сказали Ему: – Но ведь Ты Сам свидетельствуешь о Себе, значит, Твое свидетельство недействительно.

The Pharisees, therefore, said to him, `Thou of thyself dost testify, thy testimony is not true;'

14 И исус ответил: – Даже если Я и Сам свидетельствую о Себе, Мое свидетельство истинно, потому что Я знаю, откуда Я пришел и куда Я иду. Вы же не имеете никакого понятия ни о том, откуда Я пришел, ни о том, куда Я иду.

Jesus answered and said to them, `And if I testify of myself -- my testimony is true, because I have known whence I came, and whither I go, and ye -- ye have not known whence I come, or whither I go.

15 В ы судите по человеческим меркам, Я же не сужу никого.

`Ye according to the flesh do judge; I do not judge any one,

16 Н о если Я и сужу, Мой суд справедлив, потому что Я не один, со Мной Отец, Который послал Меня.

and even if I do judge my judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent me;

17 В вашем же Законе написано, что когда свидетельствуют двое, то их свидетельство имеет силу.

and also in your law it hath been written, that the testimony of two men are true;

18 О Себе свидетельствую Я Сам и Мой Отец, Который послал Меня.

I am who is testifying of myself, and the Father who sent me doth testify of me.'

19 О ни тогда спросили: – Где же Твой Отец? Иисус ответил: – Вы не знаете ни Меня, ни Моего Отца. Если бы вы знали Меня, вы бы знали и Моего Отца.

They said, therefore, to him, `Where is thy father?' Jesus answered, `Ye have neither known me nor my Father: if me ye had known, my Father also ye had known.'

20 О н сказал это, когда учил в храме, там, где собирали пожертвования. Никто, однако, не схватил Его, потому что Его время еще не настало. Иисус пришел свыше

These sayings spake Jesus in the treasury, teaching in the temple, and no one seized him, because his hour had not yet come;

21 И исус сказал им еще раз: – Я ухожу, и вы будете искать Меня, и умрете во грехе вашем. Туда, куда Я иду, вы не сможете прийти.

therefore said Jesus again to them, `I go away, and ye will seek me, and in your sin ye shall die; whither I go away, ye are not able to come.'

22 И удеи стали тогда спрашивать: – Он что, собирается покончить с Собой? Может, это Он имеет в виду, когда говорит: «Туда, куда Я иду, вы не сможете прийти»?

The Jews, therefore, said, `Will he kill himself, because he saith, Whither I go away, ye are not able to come?'

23 И исус продолжал: – Вы отсюда, с земли, а Я пришел свыше. Вы принадлежите этому миру, а Я этому миру не принадлежу.

and he said to them, `Ye are from beneath, I am from above; ye are of this world, I am not of this world;

24 П оэтому Я сказал вам, что вы умрете в ваших грехах. Если вы не поверите, что Я Тот, за Кого Себя выдаю, вы действительно умрете в ваших грехах.

I said, therefore, to you, that ye shall die in your sins, for if ye may not believe that I am, ye shall die in your sins.'

25 – Кто же Ты такой? – спросили они. – Я вам с самого начала говорю, кто Я такой, – ответил Иисус.

They said, therefore, to him, `Thou -- who art thou?' and Jesus said to them, `Even what I did speak of to you at the beginning;

26 – У Меня есть много чего сказать о вас и много в чем обвинить вас, но Тот, Кто послал Меня, говорит истину, и то, что Я слышал от Него, Я говорю миру.

many things I have to speak concerning you and to judge, but He who sent me is true, and I -- what things I heard from Him -- these I say to the world.'

27 О ни не поняли, что Он говорил им об Отце.

They knew not that of the Father he spake to them;

28 Т огда Иисус сказал: – Когда вы вознесете Сына Человеческого, тогда и узнаете, что Я Тот, за Кого Себя выдаю, и что от Себя Я не делаю ничего, а говорю то, чему Отец научил Меня.

Jesus, therefore, said to them, `When ye may lift up the Son of Man then ye will know that I am; and of myself I do nothing, but according as my Father did teach me, these things I speak;

29 П ославший Меня со Мной, Он Меня одного не оставляет, потому что Я делаю то, что угодно Ему.

and He who sent me is with me; the Father did not leave me alone, because I, the things pleasing to Him, do always.'

30 П осле этих слов многие поверили в Него. Иисус говорит об истинных Божьих детях

As he is speaking these things, many believed in him;

31 И исус сказал иудеям, поверившим в Него: – Если вы будете верны Моему учению, то вы действительно Мои ученики.

Jesus, therefore, said unto the Jews who believed in him, `If ye may remain in my word, truly my disciples ye are, and ye shall know the truth,

32 В ы тогда узнаете истину, и истина сделает вас свободными.

and the truth shall make you free.'

33 О ни ответили: – Мы потомки Авраама и никогда не были никому рабами. Как это мы можем «стать свободными»?

They answered him, `Seed of Abraham we are; and to no one have we been servants at any time; how dost thou say -- Ye shall become free?'

34 И исус ответил: – Говорю вам истину: каждый, кто грешит, – раб греха.

Jesus answered them, `Verily, verily, I say to you -- Every one who is committing sin, is a servant of the sin,

35 Р аб не всегда будет жить в семье, а сын в ней живет всегда.

and the servant doth not remain in the house -- to the age, the son doth remain -- to the age;

36 П оэтому если Сын вас освободит, вы будете действительно свободными.

if then the son may make you free, in reality ye shall be free.

37 Я знаю, что вы потомки Авраама, но вы готовы убить Меня потому, что не можете вместить Мое слово.

`I have known that ye are seed of Abraham, but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you;

38 Я говорю вам о том, что Я видел у Отца, а вы делаете то, что вы услышали от вашего отца.

I -- that which I have seen with my Father do speak, and ye, therefore, that which ye have seen with your father -- ye do.'

39 – Наш отец – Авраам, – ответили они. – Если бы вы были детьми Авраама, – ответил Иисус, – вы бы делали дела Авраама,

They answered and said to him, `Our father is Abraham;' Jesus saith to them, `If children of Abraham ye were, the works of Abraham ye were doing;

40 н о вы стремитесь убить Меня, Человека, говорящего вам истину, – истину, которую Я слышал от Бога. Авраам так не делал.

and now, ye seek to kill me -- a man who hath spoken to you the truth I heard from God; this Abraham did not;

41 В ы делаете то, что делал ваш отец. – Мы не какие-нибудь незаконнорожденные, – говорили они, – у нас один Отец – Сам Бог.

ye do the works of your father.' They said, therefore, to him, `We of whoredom have not been born; one Father we have -- God;'

42 И исус сказал им: – Если бы Бог был вашим Отцом, то вы любили бы Меня, потому что Я пришел от Бога, и вот Я здесь. Я пришел не Сам от Себя, Меня послал Он.

Jesus then said to them, `If God were your father, ye were loving me, for I came forth from God, and am come; for neither have I come of myself, but He sent me;

43 К ак это вы не понимаете, о чем Я вам говорю? Вы не можете даже слышать слова Моего.

wherefore do ye not know my speech? because ye are not able to hear my word.

44 В ы принадлежите вашему отцу, дьяволу, и хотите исполнить желания вашего отца. Он от начала был человекоубийцей и не устоял в истине, потому что в нем нет никакой истины. Когда он лжет, то делает то, что ему свойственно, потому что он лжец и отец лжи.

`Ye are of a father -- the devil, and the desires of your father ye will to do; he was a man-slayer from the beginning, and in the truth he hath not stood, because there is no truth in him; when one may speak the falsehood, of his own he speaketh, because he is a liar -- also his father.

45 Н о Я говорю вам истину, и поэтому вы Мне не верите!

`And because I say the truth, ye do not believe me.

46 М ожет ли кто-либо из вас уличить Меня во грехе? Если же Я говорю истину, то почему вы Мне не верите?

Who of you doth convict me of sin? and if I speak truth, wherefore do ye not believe me?

47 Т от, кто принадлежит Богу, слышит, что Бог говорит. Вы не слышите Меня потому, что вы не принадлежите Богу. Иисус говорит о Своем вечном существовании

he who is of God, the sayings of God he doth hear; because of this ye do not hear, because of God ye are not.'

48 Б ывшие там иудеи стали говорить Иисусу: – Ну разве мы не правы, когда говорим, что Ты самарянин, и притом в Тебе демон!

The Jews, therefore, answered and said to him, `Do we not say well, that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a demon?'

49 – Я не одержим, – ответил Иисус, – Я чту Моего Отца, а вы бесчестите Меня.

Jesus answered, `I have not a demon, but I honour my Father, and ye dishonour me;

50 Я не ищу славы Себе, но есть Тот, Кто ищет ее для Меня, пусть Он и судит.

and I do not seek my own glory; there is who is seeking and is judging;

51 Г оворю вам истину: кто соблюдает слово Мое, тот никогда не увидит смерти.

verily, verily, I say to you, If any one may keep my word, death he may not see -- to the age.'

52 Т огда иудеи закричали: – Теперь мы точно знаем, что Ты одержим демоном! Авраам умер, и все пророки умерли, а Ты говоришь, что кто исполняет Твое слово, тот никогда не умрет.

The Jews, therefore, said to him, `Now we have known that thou hast a demon; Abraham did die, and the prophets, and thou dost say, If any one may keep my word, he shall not taste of death -- to the age!

53 Н еужели Ты больше нашего отца Авраама, который умер? И пророки умерли. А кем Ты Себя считаешь?

Art thou greater than our father Abraham, who died? and the prophets died; whom dost thou make thyself?'

54 И исус ответил: – Если Я славлю Самого Себя, то слава эта ничего не значит. Меня прославляет Мой Отец, Которого вы называете своим Богом,

Jesus answered, `If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing; it is my Father who is glorifying me, of whom ye say that He is your God;

55 х отя вы Его и не знаете. Но Я Его знаю, и если бы Я сказал, что не знаю Его, то был бы таким же лжецом, как и вы. Но Я знаю Его и исполняю Его слово.

and ye have not known Him, and I have known Him, and if I say that I have not known Him, I shall be like you -- speaking falsely; but I have known Him, and His word I keep;

56 В аш отец Авраам радовался при мысли, что увидит Мой день, и он его увидел и был счастлив.

Abraham, your father, was glad that he might see my day; and he saw, and did rejoice.'

57 – Да Тебе нет и пятидесяти лет, – говорили Ему иудеи, – и Ты видел Авраама?

The Jews, therefore, said unto him, `Thou art not yet fifty years old, and Abraham hast thou seen?'

58 И исус сказал: – Говорю вам истину, еще до того, как Авраам родился, Я ЕСТЬ!

Jesus said to them, `Verily, verily, I say to you, Before Abraham's coming -- I am;'

59 Т огда они схватили камни, чтобы бросить в Него, но Иисус скрылся и вышел из храма.

they took up, therefore, stones that they may cast at him, but Jesus hid himself, and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
