1 В от почему, имея по милости Божьей это служение, мы не отчаиваемся.

Because of this, having this ministration, according as we did receive kindness, we do not faint,

2 М ы отвергаем любые нечестные методы, за которые бывает стыдно, мы никого не обманываем и не искажаем слово Божье. Напротив, мы открыто возвещаем истину, и пусть каждый человек судит нас в своей совести перед Богом.

but did renounce for ourselves the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor deceitfully using the word of God, but by the manifestation of the truth recommending ourselves unto every conscience of men, before God;

3 Е сли для кого-то Радостная Весть, которую мы возвещаем, и закрыта, то только для тех, кто идет к погибели,

and if also our good news is vailed, in those perishing it is vailed,

4 д ля неверующих, у которых бог этого мира ослепил умы, чтобы им не видеть света Радостной Вести о славе Христа, Который есть образ Бога.

in whom the god of this age did blind the minds of the unbelieving, that there doth not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God;

5 В едь мы возвещаем не самих себя, а Христа Иисуса как Господа, мы же – ваши слуги ради Иисуса.

for not ourselves do we preach, but Christ Jesus -- Lord, and ourselves your servants because of Jesus;

6 П отому что Бог, сказавший: «Пусть из тьмы воссияет свет», и Сам есть тот Свет, Который светит в наших сердцах, давая нам знание славы Божьей, которая видна на лице Иисуса Христа.

because God who said, Out of darkness light to shine, who did shine in our hearts, for the enlightening of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7 Н о это сокровище мы носим в глиняных сосудах и показываем, что эта выдающаяся сила исходит не от нас, а от Бога.

And we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us;

8 Н ас теснят со всех сторон, но мы не стеснены; мы в отчаянных обстоятельствах, но не в отчаянии;

on every side being in tribulation, but not straitened; perplexed, but not in despair;

9 н ас преследуют, но мы не покинуты; мы сильно побиты, но не убиты.

persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10 В нашем теле мы всегда носим смерть Иисуса, чтобы в нас была явлена и Его жизнь.

at all times the dying of the Lord Jesus bearing about in the body, that the life also of Jesus in our body may be manifested,

11 М ы, живые, все время предаемся смерти за Иисуса, чтобы и жизнь Иисуса была явлена в наших смертных телах.

for always are we who are living delivered up to death because of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our dying flesh,

12 С мерть совершает свою работу в нас ради того, чтобы в вас совершила свою работу жизнь!

so that, the death indeed in us doth work, and the life in you.

13 А поскольку мы обладаем тем же духом веры – как написано: «Я верил, поэтому я говорил», – мы тоже верим и поэтому говорим.

And having the same spirit of the faith, according to that which hath been written, `I believed, therefore I did speak;' we also do believe, therefore also do we speak;

14 М ы знаем, что Тот, Кто воскресил Господа Иисуса, воскресит с Иисусом и нас и поставит перед Собой рядом с вами.

knowing that He who did raise up the Lord Jesus, us also through Jesus shall raise up, and shall present with you,

15 В се это к вашему благу, чтобы благодать, достигающая все большего и большего числа людей, усиливала благодарность, возносимую во славу Бога. Жизнь в надежде на небеса

for the all things because of you, that the grace having been multiplied, because of the thanksgiving of the more, may abound to the glory of God;

16 П оэтому мы не унываем. Если даже мы изнашиваемся физически, то внутренне мы изо дня в день обновляемся,

wherefore, we faint not, but if also our outward man doth decay, yet the inward is renewed day by day;

17 т ак как наши легкие и временные страдания – ничто по сравнению с весомой и вечной славой, которую они нам приносят.

for the momentary light matter of our tribulation, more and more exceedingly an age-during weight of glory doth work out for us --

18 М ы смотрим не на видимое, а на невидимое, потому что видимое временно, а невидимое вечно.

we not looking to the things seen, but to the things not seen; for the things seen temporary, but the things not seen age-during.
